Isabella's POV

A cold shiver went down my spine. "Theodore , no! Please don't do this to me!" I pleaded, my voice trembling "Being the Lycan King's breeder is a fate worse than death. Once I give him a child, I'll be tossed aside for his warriors to use as they please. Please, Theodore , just kill me as the Pack laws state."

"Well, for one you have enough dick to ride on," he said with so much disdain. "Take her away," he instructed coldly. "Beta Leonard. of Ravenclaw Pack will soon arrive."

Hot tears rolled down my cheeks uncontrollably as different thoughts raced my mind.

"No! Let me go!" I yelled at the top of my lungs, freeing my arm from the omega who wanted to lead me to my death.

The omega struggled to get a hold of me, then a guard came forward and put me on his shoulders effortlessly like I weighed nothing.

"Slut!"

"Whore!"

"The Alpha is too merciful, you deserve worse!" The pack members hurled insults at me one after another as the guards carried me out of the hall, with the omega following closely behind.

I was carried back to my room, and straight into the bathroom. The guard laid me in the bathtub, and ripped my clothes.

"She's all yours," he instructed the omega.

"Don't you dare touch me!" I yelled at her, and stood up from the bathtub.

Pow! The guard slapped me hard across my face, blinding me momentarily.

"Listen here, bitch," he growled lowly, holding my chin in such a way that I could feel his breath on me. "You're going to behave yourself like the whore that you are, and do as you're told," he threatened. "Unless you want me to do something to you," there was a menacing glint in his eyes as he used his other hand to caress my cheeks, making my skin crawl. "Do you understand?"

I nodded my head in response, fresh tears streaming down my cheeks faster than a heartbeat, as realization hit me that this was my new reality. Worse fate than I could ever imagine awaited me at Ravenclaw Pack.

I silently went back into the tub and allowed the omega to bath me. After bathing me, the best dress in my wardrobe was brought out for me to wear. The omega did some finishing touches with some makeup, making me look like some roadside whore ready to be paraded.

The omega and the guards led me to the Packhouse entrance where Theodore and some Pack elders were. Theodore was talking to a masked man. From the look on Theodore 's face I could tell whatever they were discussing was pretty serious.

As we got closer the Elders gave me a disdainful sneer.

"She's ready, Alpha Theodore ," the omega informed, bowing slightly.

Theodore looked over at me, disgust written all over his face, before giving the omega a dismissive nod.

"Hope there won't be problems in the future," the masked man whom I've come to realize has gray eyes that was like an empty void asked, then glanced over at me.

I quickly averted my gaze.

"Because from what you explained, she's your Luna," he continued.

"Ex Luna," Theodore quickly chipped in as he glared at me. "There won't be any problems in the future, Beta Leonard." he continued and stretched out his hand for a shake.

The masked man glanced at me again before walking away towards his car, leaving Theodore 's hand hanging.

Anger flashed in Theodore 's eyes for a split second but he quickly masked it with a fake smile that clearly didn't reach his eyes.

As I stepped forward to leave, Theodore grabbed my arm, pulling me close. "Be of best behavior, Isabella, and serve the Lycan king properly. You know the consequences if you don't," Theodore said, the iciness in his tone sending a shiver down my spine.

"Please, Theodore , don't do this to me, I'll do anything you want please," I pleaded one last time, my voice barely above a whisper.

'You--"

"We don't have all day," Beta Leonard.'s voice came next, and Theodore let go of my arm and threw a smile at Beta Leonard., who just stared at him boredly.

"She's all yours," Theodore said, his fake smile still plastered on his face. "I hope His Majesty, King Nicholson, finds our gift befitting of his support."

I looked over at Theodore , and it felt like I was looking at a complete stranger. I can't believe he just referred to me as a GIFT, some fancy package.

Beta Leonard. didn't acknowledge his words and just got into his car. That was my cue to get moving. I glanced over at Theodore one last time, but this time around, it was a look of disgust. I can't believe this is the same man I've loved and been married to for three years now.

I walked over to the car, and just as I was about to open the front door, Beta Leonard. glared at me, and without a word, I understood and moved to the backseat instead.

As he started the car, I saw Lillian walk out of the Packhouse, and with a triumphant smirk on her lips, she waved me goodbye to my utmost doom.

As we drove out in silence from Blackpearl Pack, my eyes felt heavy. I haven't slept properly for the past three days that I was locked up in the dungeon. I caught Beta Leonard. looking at me from the rear view mirror, but I didn't care and just laid down to sleep. Who knows? This might be the best sleep I'll have in a very, very long time.

My eyes snapped open at the sound of screeching tires and the car coming to a sudden halt. "What happened?" I asked frantically, my eyes darting around as I tried to make sense of my surroundings.

"Shift," Beta Leonard. said tersely, not sparing me a glance. "We're being ambushed."

"W–what?" I stuttered, and frantically took a look around, but couldn't find anyone.

"You better do as I say if you want to leave here in one piece," he said, and got out of the car.

A cold sweat broke out on my forehead, I don't know if it was due to the iciness in his voice, or the fact that this might actually be the end for me.

"Did you hear a single word I said?" Beta Leonard.'s irritated voice pulled me out of my thoughts.

"I can't shift," I mumbled, shamefully looking down at my hands, and occasionally glancing at him.

Beta Leonard. stared at me with eyes wide open. One would think I suddenly grew another head.

"You can't shift?" he asked, making me bow my head in shame. Disappointment evident in his voice.

Averting my gaze, I slowly nodded in response. I couldn't bring myself to look him in the eye, because I felt the disappointment in his eyes would crush me and make me feel even more useless.

He sighed deeply. "Stay in the car," he instructed firmly.

I nodded in response, my eyes still buried to the ground.

"We are here for the lady," a voice that sounded like nails on a chalkboard said, making me raise my head and look in the direction the voice came from. A man with a thin, jagged scar running down the side of his face stood at the center of the road. His eyes were cold and lifeless, sending a shiver down my spine.

I looked over at Beta Leonard., and I could see a smirk tugging at the corners of his lips. "You're in the wrong place. Leave," Beta Leonard. said with so much finality.

The man gave a low humorless laugh, and suddenly there were rustling of leaves, as several other rogues emerged from behind the trees, until there were about 20 of them.

My heart raced twice as hard as I feared for Beta Leonard.. He might be a lycan, but these were no ordinary wolves. They are specially trained werewolves, who've been trained all their lives to kill.

"I warned you," Beta Leonard. said, a smirk tugging at the corners of his lips, and I couldn't help but wonder what he found so amusing.

The wolves shifted, making me gasp in horror. These weren't ordinary rogues, they were werebears! Dread washed over me as I stared at them in horror. They were as big as a Lycan, or even bigger!

I had only heard about werebears but never seen them before, because how could I? This was basically the first time I was leaving Blackpearl Pack's ground since I was born.

But how? What were they doing here? Werebears were said to live far north, and even if they're a more stubborn species they wouldn't foolishly come to werewolf territory! Did they have a grudge with the Lycan's Beta?

I was snapped out of my reverie when Beta Leonard. shifted into a majestic black wolf. Before I could make sense of anything he was already tearing one of the werebears in two.

My mouth was literally wide open as I stared at him in disbelief. I can't believe I got to witness all this just my first day of leaving Ragingstorm.

The leader of the werebears growled and charged at Beta Leonard., alongside two other werebears who came out from the woods.

Beta Leonard. was bleeding in a few places as more werebears surrounded him digging their claws here and there all over his body. But he kept fighting, and was able to rip out the heads of two werebears. Red blood splattered everywhere, and this only made the remaining werebears angry.

A sharp knock echoed from the window behind me, startling me. I turned sharply to see a werebear smiling menacingly at me. My heart skipped a beat, a cold shiver running down my spine immediately.

Instinctively, I shifted to the other end, my body trembling slightly. A soft knock, barely audible came from the other side of the window behind me, making me flinch as I turned sharply only to be met with yet another menacing smile from another werebear.

I was trapped! There were two werebears on both sides of the door now, and I can't f***King shift! There's no way I'm walking out of this in one piece.

One piece?! There's no way I'm fucking getting out of here alive!

My thoughts were going wild, and the malicious glint in the eyes of the werebears wasn't helping either.

Like they were in sync, they wrenched off the car doors in unison, and now I was at their mercy!
