Chapter 2 My Ticket

Larry's POV

She was the least I expected to save me. We ghosted each other after that incident, but I guess my wolf hasn't forgotten her yet.

Her hands were magical, she needn't apply pressure on them and I got healed.

I felt it, my wolf, burning inside, baring its teeth and lagging its tongue. His growl was louder, crashing inside my head.

I've never tried morphing because I was a Lycan.

Then it became obvious I needed her. With her healing powers, I could conquer the wolverine society.

I became so emotional when she hid me from my killers. Someone wanted me dead.

When she fell asleep on my shoulder, her lips were plump and so inviting that I wanted to taste them.

Perhaps it's my wolf. I'd blame it on him. I tapped her to wake up as I realized they were gone, but she was drowsy, falling on me like a log.

At first, I wanted to ignore her and moved to the mirror to take a look at my bruise, but her noise caused my head to ache.

A silent hiss left my lips as I held her hand and swiveled her towards the wall close to me.

She was raking her hair with her piano fingers.

I stepped out, somehow having an inner peace in me. With her, I'd win him over.

I didn't spend an hour out. I was sure of that, when I had returned, she was gone, and left a note on the bed.

"Do not look for me"

I scoffed. Who does she think she is? A goddess who I'd burn the whole world to find?

I squeezed the note, finding no value to it, when suddenly I saw Darius walk into my chamber.

Darius was my junior brother, a junkie working on himself.

"Father wants to see her"

Shit! She can't leave now. I had just finished talking about her to her father and the alphas gathered.

Everyone wants to meet the woman who can heal the great alpha of his disease.
