Chapter 5 Set for the Journey

Nashit woke up hearing the noise from the kitchen. She stood and walked to the kitchen to see what the noise was about, getting there she saw her husband doing the dishes. She said

" You woke up early" hugging him from the back. Marcus washed his hands after he was true with everything. And faced his wife and said with a smile " You slept well, look at you" . After some hours, he told her " I will be meeting the head leader for permission to travel down to find your family if they are alive". When she heard this tears crawled from her eyes and thanked him. After she prepared their breakfast she called her husband " your meal is ready". Marcus came out all dressed and ate, and after finishing his meal, he kissed his wife and thanked her for the meal, then he left.

Nashit was happy arranging the house and packing some of her's and her husbands cloth for the travel.

Marcus got there and went straight to Khan to see him about his journey with his wife.

" Marcus morning" wow he said with a surprising face " that's early for you to visit me is something the matter " he said

" No I came to ask for permission of leave " Marcus.

"Is everything alright " Khan said with shock in his face.

And Marcus said " No everything is alright it's about my family matter, and i won't have to hide it from you, giving you a reason that would made my permission acceptable".

Khan nodded in thought" umm I see then give me your reason". And close to an hour Marcus explained everything his wife had told him and Khan sighed.

" Okay I will let the others know about this but be careful and take care of your wife and make sure to take some soldiers and maid with you who guide and attend to you" Khan said with assurance.

" Thank you very much I really appreciate you"

Marcus stood up on his knees, and wished Khan safely too and peoples safety before leaving.

Khan seeing him leaving smiled and was happy for him and sincerely wished him safe journey.

Marcus moving back home to set for the travel with his. Meet with few people who truly admired and told them about his journey. Some cried wishing not to let him leave and some were happy for him.

Nashit on the other hand rushed to the bathroom to vomit feeling dizzy already, was confused about the sudden illness but didn't mind because she was traveling to find if his brothers and anyone she knows was actually alive.

Marcus getting home saw his wife in thought and he called but nashit was deep in her thought, and Nashit felt a tap from someone and looking back it was her husband.

" Are you okay " he asked

" Yes am fine " she replied

" Are you sure you are okay or should we postpone our travel" he said

And Nashit eyes sharpened looking at husband" no, am al ready we can leave now".

Marcus was confused but he didn't see any trouble or any thing with her wife to cancel the travel. He went in to take his bath again and after that he dressed. The maids carried the loads to the cart and then they left.

After Sometime Khan called for meeting to make them know about the situation.

" I know it's not easy to come here but I will need to explain some matters and talk about the academy test".

" Marcus has left brindlewick with his wife for some important matter (not explaining the reason to them) so now it remaining us the leaders that are here to lead the people".

None of them seem concerned because it's his family matter but wished him safe journey tho he was not among them.

Khan continued " now what are we to do in their test for those joining the academy"

" We can test them on their intelligence to see what their choice is" ashoka said.

" I think that's a bit not okay I think because some might have the intelligence but not ability because intelligence without ability might put them in danger" harsha said with concern.

" True but with intelligence it is okay because they can build their ability but let's see on that day" jimmu said.

Jafar staring at them not commenting on anything because he feels those things mentioned were not his style. And Khan looking at him asked him on his idea but he said he doesn't but if they will only accept it.

" Okay let's hear what you have to say" Khan said to him.

And Jafar stood up and said " since we are asking them to join the academy because war approaching why not allow the test to be in form of combat to know both their intelligence, strength and ability".
