Chapter 2 Arrival Of The Seductress

That evening, Layla Mark found herself in WolfHaven Pack, and she froze, veering and glaring around. Maybe she was teleported from Dacin Castle or something. Everything just looked strange In her eyes.

For her mission to be successful, she had to come equipped and in the reincarnation of a sister of Alpha who was mated to another Alpha In another pack.

Her name is Mia. She is tall, slender, and beautiful like a goddess. In order to make Layla's mission successful, she was handed a six-edged mirror which is capable of revealing Alpha Tyrrell's past secret.

The mirror was also designed by a powerful mage to reveal every answer that Alpha Tyrrell would ask Layla. In that way, there won't be any mistakes or any suspiciousness from Alpha or the werewolves.

Layla glared at her newly transformed body and smiled to herself. She was now Mia and no longer Layla.

A cool breeze blew her as she stood at a spot admiring the pack. Its magnificence was inexplicable.

The vampire's camp was nothing compared to the werewolves' packs. In all of Layla's twenty years of existence on earth, she had never seen such a beautiful place with elegant buildings.

As she kept turning around to admire the pack, she carelessly stepped on someone's foot.

" Oh, my goodness. My lady, when did you arrive at the pack?" A friendly female voice pierced into Layla's ears.

" W– Who are you? Layla asked, glaring at the beautiful lady of about Twenty-five years of age, smiling before her.

The lady winced before grabbing Layla's hands in excitement.

" My lady, it is me, Ella. I served in your brother's mansion as his maid. Did you forget me so soon?" She persisted, causing Layla, who was on a secret mission, to feel a flush of uneasiness.

" Oh, sorry. I lost my memory of you, Ella" she chuckled, having a double thought in her mind. The mission she was sent to was a tactical one. She would get killed by Lord Duncan after thirty days of failing to deliver Alpha Tyrrell to him.

However, Layla is completely oblivious as to who Alpha Tyrrell is. Back in the vampire camp, they kept making her believe that Alpha Tyrrell was a dreaded person who ruled his pack with eminence and wisdom. It was also rumored that Alpha Tyrrell was the most handsome man on earth but didn't have a mate, as the case may be.

Pondering hard on these things, Layla is daring to meet with that great Alpha whom none of the vampires could conquer.

Beating her chest, she muttered loudly " I'll conquer you"

" What did you say? Were you referring to me?" Ella asked, thinking Layla was talking to her.

" Not you" She chuckled and suddenly darkened her face.

Seeing Layla in Mia's incarnation, Ella believed She was Mia. Then, she helped Layla with her bags, and they proceeded to the mission.

Getting to the gigantic mission, Ella showed Layla her room and since Alpha was out on a trip, Layla had to occupy Mia's room till Alpha returned.

The next morning, Layla woke up and stretched her hands and legs. Her hopes of meeting Alpha Tyrrell will finally come true today.

From yesterday, she had gotten the information that Alpha Tyrrell would be arriving In the pack. No doubt, Layla's mind had never been this fearful since hearing about Alpha from the vampires. She can't wait to see him.

How can only one man cause two hundred thousand vampires to flinch at the mention of his name?

The clock was already ticking very fast. Lord Duncan had given Layla thirty days to seduce Alpha. This would be the quickest way for lord Duncan to eliminate Alpha.

In being committed to this task, Layla had pledged her loyalty to Lord Duncan and the Vampires never to betray them but to ensure the delivery of Alpha Tyrrell into their hands.

Layla knew the consequences of breaking this agreement. She had written the punishment out, meditating on them daily so she wouldn't get carried away in the mansion and bring death to herself.

As the sun became hotter, Layla changed from her sleeping wear into a more decent but attractive outfit and dashed out downstairs.

She was a stranger who knew no one in the pack but Since she was Mia, everyone welcomed her warmly in the mansion.

Isabella, one of the maids who was assisting Cassandra in tidying the living room, saw Layla coming downstairs and was shocked.

" My lady" Isabella walked up to Layla and bowed. " When did you arrive from your pack? I did know you were around," Isabella said, holding a beautiful smile on her face.

With the help of the small six-edged mirrors, Layla hid inside her gown, she was able to relate with Isabella as Mia would do.

" I arrived yesterday. How have you been darling?" Layla hugged Isabella. The mirror had already instructed Layla on how to act as Mia. She was able to relate well, having everyone's information In the mansion.

Later, Isabella and Layla walked to the kitchen to assist Mark and Cassandra in the cooking. Alpha was returning to the mansion today, and everything had to be put in place, the food inclusive.

While In the kitchen, Isabella and Layla Continued chatting and laughing like they'd known each other before.

Soon, the door burst open, and the cook, Mark, walked inside the kitchen.

Immediately, Mark saw Layla in the kitchen, something unusual left his body. He couldn't explain it, but it was not a good sign.

" Hello, Mark," Isabella greeted Mark before turning to Layla, " Did you remember Mark, the cook?" Isabella asked Layla.

Layla without turning to look Mark In the face replied" Yes"

This amazed Mark. He was confused. Deep down, he was struggling with believing that Layla was Mia, Alpha Tyrrell's sister.

" Welcome, my lady," Mark replied amid the struggle inside of him. A part of him was telling him to confront Layla.

Mark had special powers like Isabella too. He could hear from the spirits but did not have the power to become invisible like Isabella.

" How have you been doing, Mark? I heard you've been feeding the whole house with amazing dishes," Layla repeated Mia's exact words to Mark.

Confused, Mark gave an uneasy smile and walked to get the broccolis ready for preparation.

About a moment later, Alpha arrived back in the pack.

While the guards walked Alpha from the gate to the main building, he began to perceive something in the air. He could feel the presence of a stranger in the Pack.

" Did anyone visit the pack in my absence?" Alpha turned to Nat, his special guard.

" Yes, my lord," Nat replied as he walked Alpha inside.

" Who's she? Alpha replied premeditatively without missing words.

Nat, Alpha's right-hand man, was surprised how Alpha got to know that it was a lady who visited the mansion.

" She's your sister, Mia," Nat replied.

Alpha did not expect Mia to visit the mansion without informing him at hand. He was pretty vexed but did not say anything else to Nat and the guards with him.

They were yet to get to the main building when they began to hear a disrupting noise from inside.

"What could the noise in the building be for?" Alpha tightened his cold but handsome face. Everyone knew how dreaded Alpha was. He doesn't have the time to laugh with anyone in the pack.

" I will just find it out. My lord," Nat tried moving, but Alpha stopped him.

" Stay back. I will find it out myself" Alpha stomped inside the mansion as the uproar continued.

He noticed the noise was coming from the kitchen, and without hesitation, he asked Nat and the other guards to remain in the living room while he found out what the fuss in the kitchen was all about.

Back inside the kitchen, Mark seized Layla's hands, insisting she didn't leave until she revealed her mission in the pack.

" Let me go." Layla struggled in Mark's hands, but he gripped her hands tighter.

"I won't let you go until you tell me your mission in the pack. You're not Alpha's sister. So, who sent you here?" Mark barked, sweat dripping from his body.

He was ready to shift into his wolf and devour Layla but since Alpha was returning from his trip today, he thought it right to chain Layla and let Alpha see the enemy that had sneaked into the pack.

Layla suddenly became powerless, yet she tried not to reveal her true identity to Mark. That was suicidal.

Enduring Mark's furious grip, Layla's eyes welled up in tears. Crying was all she could do to prove to Mark that she was not a spy, but Mark kept tormenting her.

Just then, the door burst open, and Alpha walked inside in a fret of anger.

He caught Mark strangling his only sister, Mia.

Without asking questions, Alpha landed Mark a straight, heavy blow on the face and then dragged Layla out of Mark's grip.

Raising his face to Layla, the lady who had the body and the face of Mia, Alpha pulled her close and hugged her.

Unbeknownst to him, the person he thought was his sister was just an enemy sent to hurt his life. She was that enemy he once perceived her presence. Now, let the game begin.
