*Lysander's POV*

If only I hadn't underestimated him or if I had read him to notice he held the other person in high value,maybe I would have gotten them both, what if it's a rogue park and they're on the move right now while I can't even get this fucker to tell me his name.

I snapped last night if Nine hadn't come I swear I would've killed him,the full moon is taking it's toll on me and I need to get my shit together before I give Meade the chance he's been waiting for.

All these thoughts run through my mind as I leave my room to head for the cave same time trying to avoid my mom not for any other reason set from her obsessive and controlling nature, I've tried my best to prove I'm no longer a pup anymore but she just seems to not want me to grow which as a result the alpha sees me as a privileged weakling who hasn't earned his right and claim to succeed as alpha after him.

"You're not skipping breakfast,are you? Mom's smooth yet nagging voice brings me out of my head, only her has the ability to make a sentence sound like an order same time a request

"Lyssa"I nod at her

"Don't Lyssa me,I asked you a question"

"I'm not really feeling it right now,but I'll be back after a short run" I'm avoiding her and she knows it and without waiting for her response I head out but decide to stop by Nine's and to no one's surprise she's still asleep

"It's......eight in the morning,who the fuck is awake by this time on a Saturday????"she grumbles

"Get up,you were late last night have you forgotten? We need to do something about that fucker before......"

"Thane"

"What?"

"Thane,the name's Thane "she mumbles in her pillow

"Good then since you guys are hitting off I'll leave you to it"that was enough to get her up looking more like she died rather than slept

"Why would you leave me to it?"

That's not how it works, I've been busy training and working hard about the pack affairs and barely have time for myself and that's where Nine comes in being that I have more lunar years than her although she'll like to argue otherwise,she gathers information regarding possible allies and foes since snooping around is one of what she enjoys doing and when I'm having difficulty getting answers from a rogue then she gets a free thrall sessions and that is why I choose that cave as my lair, the moon goddess forbids that the alpha finds out Nine's involvement in were affairs.

"I need to take care of some matters relating to our boarders and with the alliance and stuffs on the northern pack.."

"The what?!"Nine snapped

"I'm sure you heard me the first time"

She tries to get up from the bed and lands in an entanglement of sheets with a 'humph' while I just stand there leaning on her door frame,she eventually finds her way around the sheets and gets up.

"And they say chivalry doesn't exist" she hissed at me

"You are welcome "

"What were you saying about the northern pack?"

"You were listening and I'm pretty sure you heard me I'm not repeating myself "

"I'm NoT rePEatiNg mySelf" she mimickes

"Fine, you said we're having an alliance with the northern pack"

"Yes and cause of that I'll be busy and not be able to take care of issues with rouges"

"Well I would like to inform you that the 'rouge' you caught last night is from the Northern pack"

Now that's alarming as all the wheels in my head starts spinning, what are the chances he's here for same reason.

On a good or bad note?

"Heyyyy" Nine waves in front of me "...... you don't think it's a coincidence right?" she asks fueling my suspicion

I feel a migraine coming

"I think I'll go contact them and ask about him" I turn to go but Nine literally drags me back

"And if they say no?"

"No to what?"

"No! that they're not aware!!"

"If they're aware then we'll keep him as a warning for trespassing and if they're not we'll find something and make do with him"

"And your dad??"

"What happens to Meade"

"I don't know, whatever happens when the alpha finds out you're keeping rogues he's not aware of,under your custody "

"He must not necessarily be involved "

"How about we don't contact anyone and if he's really valued enough for them to risk the alliance then they'll come get him and if he's not fine, we'll make do with him,huh?"

"I don't think I've ever met a vampire this dumb" I mused which earned me the side eye

"How many vampires have you met?....... just listen to me on this one,I promise if anything goes wrong I'll take responsibility "

I sigh "You didn't have to promise " I said as I head out

"Aww really?"

That's when I realized she was actually following me downhall in her pajamas and red bird nest on her head

"You're going to take responsibility anyway" and then we head towards the cave while she tried to make her hair look less bird-nest-y

"You couldn't wait till noon? missed me much" his throaty voice fills the room as we walk in

"Why are you here?"I ask him straight up

"Because I'm tied to this god damn chair, trust me when I say I don't want to be here either"

the cocky bastard smiles

"Lemme rephrase that,...."Nine says stepping in front of me "......why were you and Asher here last night?" and that seems to get his attention

With anger evident in his voice,he replies "We were out for a run" trying to sound casual

"Never knew you northerners run that far off from home and get lost often" I said moving Nine out of my way and stepping right in front of Thane

"Now I need you to listen carefully, yesterday was just your welcome party and whatever you saw and experienced last night was barely torture and can't be compared to what would happen to you if you don't answer my fucking question"

Without waiting for his response I go to one of the shelves, open a drawer and pick a jar, one of my favorite item for torture

I smile and head back

I lift the transparent jar and I notice when he figures out what I'm about to do

"Fire ants, that's what they're called, I've had this set for three days now, pretty sure they'll love a little stroll"

A race!!!!!" Nine squeals

"Sure..." I step closer "Let's see how long it takes for them to get here..." I tap his left ear "..... from here" I tap his right ear

"I bet one's gonna fallout from his nostril"Nine adds

"While you think about whether or not you're going to talk,shall we begin " I smirk

With pure horror he says"You're going to regret this "
