Chapter 4 Four years later

Four years later.

Everything still felt like yesterday. Everything still felt incomplete without him. Aria had thought that leaving would make her forget things and avoid a scandal but she wanted to see him again. To touch that chiseled jaw and toned skin.

"'Mommy" came Jake's voice from the bedroom and Aria grinned. She hadn't told anyone about her pregnancy, not even Liam himself. She honestly didn't know how he was going to react and she didn't want questions either.

But things weren't easy. Jake was having difficulty shifting and he was too strong for a little werewolf boy. She had seen him kill a snake once with his bare hands. She knew what werewolves could do but what she had seen Jake do was enough to ask questions which was why she wanted to go back to the pack for answers.

"Pack up Jake, we'll be going soon" she called and she heard him cheer. She stared at her phone again and dialed his number but it wasn't even going through. Did he block her? Had he moved on? Did he still love her?

She got Jake ready and packed the things they needed into the back of the car and she headed for her destination. When she got to the pack city it wasn't as she used to remember. Everything had changed in the space of four years and she could barely find her way to the house. When she got there finally she gasped at the huge mansion standing in place of the modest building that used to be there.

"Yay! New home" Jake said and Aria chuckled sadly.

New home? That's if your father won't want to see me.

She got out of the car along with Jake and she pressed the bell. The door opened and a strikingly beautiful lady opened the door. She stared at Aria coldly.

"Can I help you?" she said, raising one elegant brow and Aria's heart pounded. Who was this lady? Or was this the wrong house.

"I am looking for Liam Turner." She said and the lady's eyes darkened sort of protectively.

"Why are you asking? Is he my boss and he made it clear not to let anyone see him." She said and Aria frowned.

"Tell him it's Aria Turner" Aria urged and the lady's eyes suddenly filled with hate.

"I know who you are. He told me about you. You ruined his life" she said and Aria sighed. She wasn't about to talk about her mistakes with this lady.

"Let me see him please," Aria pleaded. The lady glanced at Jake then Arian then back at Jake. She nodded.

"Very well come in, just know Liam isn't the man you know. He's changed, a lot" she said and Aria stared at her as she walked away.

What did she mean by that? Did Liam hate her? Did he now resent her? She led Aria to Liam's study and knocked on the door.

"Enter!" Came that familiar voice, and Aria smiled despite herself . She walked in and her heart did a little dance when she saw him. His dark hair had grown and fallen to his shoulder. He did a top knot at the back and he had grown a beard at the bottom of his jaw. If he looked hot before he looked hotter. His blue eyes stared at me as Aria walked in.

"Hi." She said and he stared at her. Then he smiled, a charming one.

"Passing town eh?" He asked and Aria shook my head.

"I came to see you Liam" she said and Liam cocked his head to the side.

"Really? how touching.....sister"

"Don't call me that" Aria said and he raised a brow harmlessly.

"Why? But it's true" he stated and Aria shook her head.

"We have had sex. Couple of times" she said and Liam nodded. He took a cigar, lit it and took a drag.

Since when did he even smoke? What happened to the quiet, reserved man who would do anything for her.

"So you smoke?" She asked. She wasn't judging but it was a surprise to her.

"Problem?" He countered and she shook her head. She didn't like this and it was so obvious that he didn't want to talk to her and she couldn't blame him. It was all her fault.

"See Liam. I am sorry. I didn't mean too....."

"And Aria, I know why you left. There's no need to remind me. I'll be heading out soon. I have a matter to attend to. I'll see you later Aria. The door opened and Jake came running.

"Mommy" he said and Liam stopped. Aria sighed and stared at her shoes. Not even hell could deny the fact that Jake. looked like an exact copy of Liam

She didn't want him to meet Jake like this, but she had no choice. Liam's blue eyes kind of softened and he stared at her.

"What's his name? " he asked.

Jake. Jake Turner"
