Chapter 4 4

The days that followed were marked by constant tension. Kael and Luna continued their shenanigans, unaware of my increased surveillance. I was more determined than ever to find hard evidence of their plot, and every night I spent hours observing, listening, and analyzing.

One evening, when the moon was high in the sky, I decided to return to the barn where Jarek had found Kael's diary. Perhaps there were other hidden clues. When I arrived, I took care to check that no one had followed me. The night was silent, the dancing shadows created by the light of the moon adding an almost supernatural atmosphere to the place.

Inside the barn, I began to carefully search every corner, every possible hiding place. After an hour of fruitless searching, I came across a small metal box hidden under a pile of old blankets. My heart was pounding as I opened it. Inside I found letters, notes, and detailed plans.

As I leafed through the documents, I discovered to my horror the precise details of Kael and Luna's plot. They weren't just discrediting me; they also planned to overthrow our father, Alaric, and take control of the pack. Every step of their plan was carefully noted, with dates and names of accomplices. It was the tangible proof I needed.

I quickly closed the box and put it back, taking care not to leave any trace of my passage. My mind was racing. Should I immediately confront my father with this evidence? Or should I wait for the opportune moment to reveal their betrayal? After careful consideration, I decided to keep this information secret for now. I had to be sure I could protect my position and that of my father before revealing this plot.

As I headed home, my mind was a whirlwind of thoughts and emotions. I needed to free myself from this tension, to find a way to channel my frustration. Arriving near the clearing where the members of the pack often met to train or relax, I saw Damian, one of the most respected warriors in our group.

Damian was tall, muscular, with piercing blue eyes and a charming smile. We had always had a certain complicity, but nothing more. That evening, however, something was different. Maybe it was the glint in his eyes or the way he looked at me. I felt a shiver run down my spine.

- Hi, Everly, he said, approaching me. You look worried.

I smiled slightly, trying to hide my emotions.

- Just...lots on my mind, Damian.

He nodded, his gaze growing more intense.

- You know, sometimes it's good to release your frustrations. Do you want to talk about it?

I looked at him, hesitant. But the boiling emotions inside me were looking for an outlet, and Damian seemed to be the answer to my silent prayers. Without answering, I approached him, our eyes meeting in palpable tension.

- Maybe there are other ways to release your frustrations, I whispered.

Her eyes widened slightly in surprise, but a playful smile stretched her lips. He placed a hand on my waist, pulling me closer to him.

- I think you're right, he said softly.

Our lips met in a hot, passionate kiss, releasing all the built-up tension. His hands slid over my body, exploring every curve with surprising delicacy. My body reacted to every touch, to every caress, as if it had been deprived of contact for too long.

We went deeper into the forest, looking for a more discreet place. Finding an isolated clearing, we stopped, our bodies pressed together, breathing heavily. Damian's hands moved down my hips, pulling up my shirt to caress my bare skin. I shivered with pleasure, feeling the heat rise within me.

- Everly, you're beautiful, he whispered against my lips before kissing them again.

I responded to his kiss with renewed intensity, my hands gripping his shoulders. He picked me up easily, placing me gently on the soft grass. Our clothes were quickly removed, leaving our naked bodies to be discovered and explored.

The contact of his skin against mine was electrifying. I felt every muscle, every movement of his body with increased acuteness. His lips traveled down my neck, my shoulders, down my chest with exquisite slowness. I let out a moan of pleasure, feeling the heat spread throughout my being.

- Damian, please... I whispered, unable to form a coherent thought.

He raised his head, his eyes shining with intense desire. He smiled and continued his caresses, his hands exploring every inch of my skin. When he entered me, a shiver of pleasure ran through my entire body. We moved in perfect harmony, each movement amplifying the pleasure, each moan echoing through the night.

The stars above us seemed to dance to the rhythm of our union. The outside world disappeared, giving way to a universe where only Damian and I existed. Our passion reached its peak, and I felt a wave of pleasure surge through me, completely overwhelming me.

After this moment of intensity, we remained lying against each other, our bodies still quivering. Damian gently stroked my hair, his gaze soft and protective.

- Thank you, I whispered, feeling an inner peace I hadn't felt in a long time.

- You don't have to thank me, Everly. I'm always here for you, he replied softly.

We stayed like that for a while, enjoying the quiet of the night. But soon, reality returned. I knew I had to return home, prepare my plan to expose Kael and Luna's plot.

- I have to go, I said reluctantly, standing up.

- Take care, Everly. If you need anything, you know where to find me, he said, kissing me gently.

I smiled at him and quickly got dressed before heading home. My mind was clearer now, my emotions more stable. The night I spent with Damian had given me the strength and determination I needed to face the days to come.

When I got home, I made sure everyone was asleep before returning to my room. I lay down on my bed, my heart still pounding from the intensity of the evening. The discovery of the plot and the passion with Damian had lit a flame in me that nothing could extinguish.

In the following days, I continued to gather evidence, always discreet and attentive. Jarek and I were hatching a plan to reveal Kael and Luna's intentions at the appropriate time. Every night, I went to sleep with renewed hope that justice would ultimately triumph.

I knew that the path would be long and difficult, but I was ready to do anything to protect my pack and prove my value. The battle was just beginning, and I would not stop anyone from succeeding.

The truth was my most powerful weapon, and with Damian by my side, I felt that nothing could stop me. The coming days would be crucial, but I was no longer alone. I had found the strength in myself and in those who supported me.

While I closed my eyes for the night, a last thought crossed my mind: "I'm ready."
