TRISH'S POV

It is exactly 7am, I can't believe today is my first day at work as a secretary to the chairman. I'm really excited and can't believe I have come this far. So I brushed my teeth and went to take a shower, I'm not really a morning person but my excitement knows no bound. So I guess that was the reason I woke up so early, my resuming time is 9am so i still have a few hours to my self. I wonder what the chairman would be like, I hope he is not one of those pervert, Elle has told me that he is young but only God knows how young he is, I wonder if he is married or single or maybe he is gay. Trish, I don't know why you are bothering with all this foolish thought and you are thinking out loud and disturbing my sleep. What is it too you if he is married or gay,your job is to just be his secretary and it is limited to your working hours, so stop thinking about his sexuality and please let me sleep.

Elle is so grumpy when someone disturbs her sleep and I know better than to frustrate her more because she is really scary when she hasn't had her beauty sleep. Trish, I have told you stop thinking out loud, you know what j would just wait for you to go to work before I continue my sleep cause you are really annoying and what the hell are you wearing, please don't tell me that you are going to wear that on your first day.

First of all it is too flashy, you are working for a company not Cosmo, secondly, it screams I'm poor please help me, I need your financial assistance. Thirdly, what is up with the shoe, I told you that you should wear mine and also the bag. Elle, those are your best and favorite pair, I don't want to ruin it.

Babe, I would hit you if you say such nonsense again. You are more important to me than any material stuff and Making sure you don't look like a clown on your first day at work is my priority, thank goodness I woke up early, if not you would have just embarrassed us there.

So first of all, we are going to fix your hair, then your makeup and then finally your dressing and we only have an hour to do that.

So Elle started with the makeup, please don't do too much I told her. I know and it is very minimal you won't even notice and she was right, I didn't notice.

Then she did my hair, babe you have such beautiful hair stop putting it in a bun she said, and when she was done with both my hair and makeup without exaggerating,I couldn't recognize myself. So I'm this pretty, yes you are babe and you have the beauty of a goddess and I'm happy you are finally having the opportunity to show it out.

Then she picked out a simple yet classy working dress for me and I paired it with the heels and bag, and for my jewelry, I wore the only expensive jewelry I owned and by the time I was done with everything, I looked like nothing of myself and I liked it. I felt this wave of confidence that I've never had before and I have no one else to thank except my best friend.

Trish you look so good, Elle said interrupting me from my thoughts , I look good all thanks to you and I have to run because I don't want to be late on my first day, I have ordered an Uber for you and it would arrive now so relax and believe in yourself babe, you deserve it. I couldn't stop the tears that came out, thank you babe, what would I do without you.
