Chapter 4 Pregnant

"Step on it." Thane ordered one of his men who was driving. They needed to get to the slave trade was going on in twenty minutes.

He was informed that the next ship was about to leave and the trade was still going on. It was being done on the outskirts of the city, which the cops would never think of.

Thane had no idea what William's bride looked like but with the little description Vin gave him, he knew he could easily recognise her.

According to Vin, she has unique features. Blue eyes, pretty, a great body.

For some reason Thane couldn't figure out, he anticipated. He couldn't wait to meet her.

After what seemed like a long drive to Thane, they arrived at the location. His man parked the car alongside where other cars were parked.

He got out of the car and headed towards the ships. The first one he got on was the one the trade was going on in.

As he moved closer to where the trade was going on, he heard cries.

He got closer and saw Nadia pulling a lady. Nadia is a Russian woman who deals in the slave trade with the Albanians.

Staring at the lady with Nadia, Thane could tell she was the one. Nadia was about to hit her when he hurriedly spoke up.

"Let her go, Nadia." He said and walked towards them. He got closer to her and he stared at her before turning to Nadia.

"I said let her go, Nadia. She is mine." He said again and she hurriedly let go of her.

"Of course Lord Thane." She replied and bowed.

Thane turned to the girl and he could see the relief in her eyes but still, she was confused.

He wouldn't blame her, no one would want to be with old men.

"But sir." Nadia called and Thane turned to her.

"I... I bought her and I haven't gotten my money... "

"Name your prize." He cut her off.

Everyone was watching, including Aurora.

Nadia hurriedly thought of the price to call, she knew the man in her presence was fucking rich. A billionaire!

"Ten... ten million dollars." She stuttered and Aurora gasped. She was surprised that the amount was for her, it was huge!

"The money will be wired to your account by the end of the day. Drop your details with any of my men." He replied and her face beamed.

"Of course, Lord Thane. Thank you." She replied and smiled widely at Aurora.

Before Aurora could blink, Thane pulled her with him. She didn't say anything or struggle with him.

A part of her was relieved and at the same time, she was worried. She was relieved she wouldn't be a sex toy to horny old men but she was worried because she had no idea who came to save her.

Who the hell was he?

They got to the car in minutes and one of his men that drove opened the car door for him.

Reluctantly, Aurora got in and Thane also did.

His man also got in and drove immediately.

Aurora looked at Thane, he could feel her eyes on him and he also turned to her. Surprisingly to him, she held his gaze.

She wasn't intimidated.

"What's your name?" He asked.

"Aurora." She replied softly. Thane ran his eyes on her, she was just like Vin described. But even better. She was indeed beautiful and had a nice body. William has eyes for good things.

"Well, Aurora. My name is Thane. I believe you already got the hint of what just happened, I spent ten million dollars on you which makes you automatically mine." He said.

All she did was stare at him, she had no response to give him.

"Do you understand?" He asked sternly and she nodded immediately. He could see she was confused and terrified but that wasn't his problem, he had her now. That was all that mattered.

He looked away from her and the drive to his mansion was quiet. Aurora kept stealing glances at him as her mind was troubled.

They arrived at the mansion and he walked out, she also did too. He grabbed her arm as she was still looking around and pulled her in roughly.

He had no time to waste, he needed to get it over with.

She winced as he pulled her in but he ignored that, he pulled her to one of the rooms downstairs and pushed her in a little as they got there.

"You will be staying here for now." He said and she looked around the room and then drew her brows together.

"I want to go home." She said,

"Of course, you can go home but first, you have to tell me how William is." Thane replied and moved closer to her.

"You... you know William?" She asked with tears welling up in her eyes. She was slow, she was sluggish, and that upset Thane.

He suddenly grabbed her and pinned her to the wall, she yelped in fear and tears streamed down her eyes.

"Is the piece of shit you were about to marry dead or alive?" He asked. That was when the realization hit Aurora.

She put two together and realized what was going on.

"It was you. You ruined my wedding and killed my parents." She said in tears and Thane pinned her harder to the wall which made her groan in pain.

"Oh my God, please. You are hurting me." She cried.

"Answer my fucking question."

"I... I... " She stuttered and cried.

Her cries were pissing him off and he let go of her. She breathed heavily and sniffed.

Thane decided to stay calm and he paced around the room for a few seconds before turning to her again.

"I will ask again. Is the loser you were about to marry dead?" He asked and she looked up at him with tears and fear in her eyes.

"I... I don't know. He was shot and he fell in front of me. I think he is dead." She replied with tears streaming down her eyes.

Somehow, Thane found her interesting. He moved closer to her and she bowed her head in fear and glued herself to the wall.

Aurora suddenly inhaled his fragrance and she felt irritated immediately, she tried to hold the urge to puke back but she couldn't.

She opened her mouth and puked on him. He stared down at himself and her eyes widened in shock as she trembled.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry." She hurriedly said.

"Fucking bitch." Thane raised his hand trying to scare her but not with the intention of hitting her.

"I'm pregnant! I'm pregnant! Please don't hit me, I'm pregnant!"
