Gina's pov

I realized it was my savior from earlier, I halted and approached the car.

Why are you still within the estate?, Don't you value your life?" Asked my savior with anger

I hurriedly entered the car because Mr. Ross would be on his way back. In no time I was out of the estate and never to return.

Inside the car, I was given a first aid box

I looked at the familiar mansion and a smile crept onto my face and I immediately forgot about my pain.

I pressed the gate bell and the security inquired about my name and the reason for my visit, which I provided accurately after which he told me he will get back to me shortly.

I guess he's new because the gate keeper Xander introduced to me the last time I was here is an older man Mr. Potter and we are kind of friends, you can't blame me for been friends with my grandpa's age.

After few minutes the gate opened and I was expecting to see the gatekeeper but instead I saw Xander and the look on his face was that of shock, pain and confusion.

May I come in?" I asked weakly

Yeah, sure, of course. Sorry I got stunned for a minute" he blabbered

I stepped inside the compound and started walking toward the house when I suddenly got lifted off the ground and onto Xander's strong arms.

Carrying my girlfriend into the house or is there anything wrong with that?"

Why the sudden anger? I haven't done anything to make him angry yet he is. Instead of saying the wrong things unintentionally, I'd rather shut my mouth and that's exactly what I did.

I guess he didn't want me saying anything because he didn't ask about my sudden quietness.

We enter the house and he took me straight to his bedroom and placed me on the bed

Is this not the same bed that Selena sleeps on?" I couldn't help but ask

I told you she never comes to this house because I don't allow it. Here, it is just you and I, so can you relax now, let me prepare a bath for you?" He sounded irritated

He stormed into the bath room and few minutes he came back into the room before making a quick call to his personal doctor, telling him to come over.

After ending the call, he walked up to me and without my permission began to remove the remaining piece of cloth I had on, not like I care though.

Few hours after experiencing a near rape incident, I thought the touch of a male gender would repulse me but I'm surprised Xander's touch doesn't repulse me, maybe because it's him and I trust him so much

He helped me up and I was bare before his eyes and I wasn't shy because he has seen every inch of my body before.

He swept me off my feet again, carried me into the bathroom and then into the bathtub.

The water is lukewarm and my favorite bomb.... Was added. Gently he washed my body after the bath session, Xander wore me my favorite night floral gown.

A maid brought me dinner I thanked her when she came back minutes later to carry the dishes. All through the time, Xander sat at a corner looking at me, it was almost as if he's monitoring me.

What is it?" I asked

Nothing" he grumbled and looked away

Seriously? Why are you acting up?"

Why am I acting up? My girlfriend shows up at my door looking all bloody and in a terrible shape. How was I supposed to act? Please tell me because this is the best reaction I can come up with right now.

I'm confused as to who did this to you and why. So please Gina tell me" he pleaded with bloodshot eyes, running his fingers through his hair in frustration.

For a minute I didn't want to tell him, but the greater part of wanted to tell him not minding the consequences and that was exactly what I did.

It was Mr. Washington, he almost raped me and during my struggle, he hit me with a night stand lamp and that is how I got bloody"

I wanted to continue but I looked at his face and he was red with anger, his fingers were tightly clenched, I thought for a second his bones were going to break and he looked so terrific, I even got scared of him for a minute. So I decided against it

Hoping he would say something after listening to everything I said, I was left disappointed when he didn't say anything instead left when his doctor came to tend to my wound.

Doctor Kelly as he introduced himself redressed my wound and recommended I register for therapy to avoid future trauma.

Just as he was about to leave the room, Xander came back this time he was more relaxed and collected.

How is she?" He asked the doctor

She's doing pretty well and it shows just how strong she is. The main thing she needs now is therapy"

Okay, I'll arrange one for her. Thank you very much for your time"

You're welcome Mr. Knight" with that he left

After doctor Kelly's exit, Xander walked towards the bed and sat besides me.

He took my hand in his and squeezed it softly.

I'm sorry babe, I'm sorry I reacted the way I did. I want to let you know that I don't blame you for anything that has happened.

I just didn't want to imagine what you must have gone through and to cap it all, I wasn't even there when you needed me the most.

I'm the worst boyfriend in the world and I don't deserve you" he dropped his head in regret.

And what the fuck was Ross and his wife doing?" he fumed

His inheritance still depends on those devils and I don't want him to lose it because of me but I still wanted him to know, so I told him Mr. Ross was responsible for the setup.

Sleeping in my man's arms, on his bed caused me to smile and with satisfaction filling my mind, I feel into a deep slumber.
