Chapter 4 Finally Reunited With His Girl

"Riana!" Isla tried to chase after her, but before she could take a single step, the bodyguard once again pointed the gun at her forehead.

She obediently raised her hands in surrender, a dry smile playing at the corners of her mouth.

These people were really scary. If Adriana really went with Sebastian, her days ahead would surely not be easy. As the saying goes: 'Out of the crocodile's mouth and into the tiger's den.'¹

The black Knight XV was parked neatly in the courtyard, and the sound of its engine was so loud that it seemed to echo throughout the neighborhood. It looked so imposing and dazzling, just like Sebastian himself.

"Miss Hudson, please get in," Jasper said as he opened the backseat door for her.

Adriana thanked him and got in. Just as her butt touched the leather seat, Sebastian suddenly reached for her right hand, followed by a gentle touch.

With a dull thud, Jasper closed the door from the outside and sat in the passenger seat. Then the driver drove out steadily.

In the backseat, Adriana was staring at Sebastian, who was wiping her hands with a disbelief expression on her face. His movements were gentle and deliberate. He carefully ran the gray handkerchief over each of her fingers, as if he were polishing the most precious treasure.

Was it just her imagination? She thought she caught a glimpse of something on his face. A gentle expression?

She had seen a bloodthirsty Sebastian, she had seen his cruelty, and she had also experienced his coldness and indifference. But she had never seen him be so gentle to her in the five years she had humbly loved him.

"Back to the apartment." Sebastian tucked the handkerchief into his pocket and pulled away from her expressionlessly.

Adriana shook her head. It was impossible for him to be gentle with her. This was all just her imagination. She subconsciously clenched her hands that were hidden under her backpack into fists before slowly loosening them again. "Young Master Kingsley, why are you looking for me?"

"You know why," he replied, his voice so cold, as if it were covered in ice.

His coldness suddenly reminded her to the memory where Olivia cried in his arms and accused her of deliberately seeking his attention by hurting herself. The way he'd looked at her back then had been so cold and indifferent, before he went to coax Olivia.

Whether in the past or now, his treatment of her had never changed.

Thinking back on it now, Adriana suddenly felt like laughing. She had loved him so much that she had lost her dignity.

She said nothing more, simply staring out of the window at the passing scenery.

Forty-five minutes later, the car pulled into the underground parking garage. Adriana calmly entered Sebastian's apartment and put her backpack on the couch before casually sitting down opposite him.

"Young Master Kingsley, I can be with you," she said, meeting his gaze steadily, "but I have conditions."

"Speak." Sebastian only uttered this single word, as if every word that came out of his mouth was as precious as gold and it would be a waste if he talked more.

Adriana took a deep breath before speaking softly. "I don't want anyone to know I'm with you. We'll meet twice a week, and we won't interfere in each other's lives. After two years, you'll let me go."

In her previous life, when Sebastian turned 28, he had been shot by his enemies, and she had been the one to block the bullet for him. Because of this, she, who had never experienced any tenderness from him before, had been cared for by him for several days.

But that was the only time. She had never felt his tenderness again after that.

Sebastian stared at her for a moment. His expression was unreadable before he said indifferently, "Come here."

Adriana hesitated for a moment before getting up and sitting beside him.

Sebastian turned slightly to the side and opened the cabinet beside the couch, taking out a first-aid kit. He opened it and took out a bottle of iodine.

He reached for her right hand, gripping it firmly as he turned it over. There was a large, bloodstained bruise on the back of her hand.

Adriana hadn't noticed it before; it must have been from when she struck Jack and his friends.

Sebastian soaked a cotton ball with iodine and began dabbing it on her wound. It immediately caused a sharp, stabbing pain, and Adriana winced slightly.

Sebastian immediately tightened his grip on her hand, not allowing her to pull away. After carefully cleaning the wound, he discarded the cotton ball and said, "Alright."

"Hmm?" Adriana froze for a moment before realizing that he had agreed to her terms. A smile suddenly appeared on her face. "I still have one more request."

The temperature in Sebastian's eyes suddenly dropped. His strong, iron-like grip landed on her waist, and he slowly leaned her body back against the couch, pressing her down. "Another request?"

Adriana leaned away from him with difficulty, her smile turning a bit dry. "Could you not come looking for me at school?"

His Knight XV was too conspicuous. There were only a hundred of them in the world, and anyone who owned one would easily become the subject of gossip.

Adriana had always been a well-behaved and low-profile student, so it was quite eye-catching when a driver suddenly turned up to pick her up.

"En." A rough syllable slipped from Sebastian's mouth as he hugged her waist tightly and lowered his head to kiss her lips.

Adriana was stunned once again. When she came back to her senses, she found herself already lying on the soft bed. She quickly reached out to stop him as he began to unbutton her shirt. "I'm scared of the pain."

She really didn't want to experience the rough Sebastian again.

"I will be gentler." It was a rare occurrence for him to say such words.

In the next moment, the remaining clothes on her body were also gone. Her entire body felt like a small boat being tossed back and forth on the sea by the wind and waves, helplessly rising and falling to his rhythm. After that...

There was no after that because she passed out from exhaustion.

The strong wind and crashing waves gradually subsided, and Sebastian looked at Adriana, who was sleeping with a gentle smile. He lowered his head and kissed her forehead deeply.

He had finally reunited with her again-his girl.
