Chapter 5 SUZAN'S TRUTH

SUZAN POV

I have always thought of Cleopatra as the biggest mistake I have ever made but some how it seems she might be more useful than I anticipated. All it took her was just 1 pregnancy and I am going to be a millionaire.

' All I have to do is get $3000 from each of those morons for an abortion and invest it in my beting app, then I would finally hit it bug'_ I think, excitement welling up in my chest before the annoying voice of Cleopatra kills it.

" I am not aborting my baby" She informs firmly, a hint of arrogance on her face, making my blood run cold.

" What did you say?" I question doubtful with a raised brow, balling my fist in a bit to surpress anger.

" I said, I am not going to abort my baby....." She dares to answer back without a hint of remorse.

I blood boils and my hand immediately collides with her cheek.

" How dare you answer back at me" I yell acrimoniously, point my index finger at her, whose eyes are practically beginning to water "I feed you, cloth you and all I get is disrespect. You are such an ingrate"

" Better to be an ingrate mom than a murderer. Abortion is a sin...." She voices confidently but I am forced to cut in vexed.

" And so is fornication. Have you forgotten you, yourself offered your body to Ryder on your own volition" I remind.

Bile raising up in my mouth .

Her eyes widen in shock, bet she wasn't expecting me to bring that up.

A hypocrite is exactly who she is.

" I admit I made a mistake, but that doesn't mean I have to get rid of my child. You didn't abort me, so why should I abort my seed" She tries table her views but once more I inference, furious.

There is just something about her voice that makes my skin crawl.

" And I wish you were never born. I am embarrassed to be called your mother" I confess sincerely, my body trembling with rage.

Sending shock waves flying.

Her expression doesn't change, she seems to frozen from shock.

" Listen up, you are going to abort that bastard or get ready to leave this house" I threaten, striding to my bedroom.

My heart is pounding.

My blood is boiling.

I shut the door, slam my face into my pillow and scream my pain away.

Gosh!!! I hate that kid so much. She irritates me so much that I just want to kill her and get it over with.

Why didn't she just die at birth?.

Why does she have to be a constant reminder of what I lost.

She looks so much like those two traitors, and her face is a perfect photo copy of her mom, the first Luna Charlotte.

That witch, Charlotte made my life a living hell, not only did she mistreat me but she stole the only man I ever loved and even had a baby with him.

And for what? she didn't even pick him. She killed him, all in her pointless pursuit to remain first Luna.

I can remember it like it was yesterday, I had moved over to beta Ivo's (Charlotte's father) home to work as a servant, that was when I am Larry met.

He was dark skinned, tall, handsome and muscular. His eyes were the most beautiful things I have ever seen, a lovely shade of golden green.

He was perfect and so was he jaguar. You see Larry was an outcast from the land of Jaguars, possibly one of the last.

It was love at first sight for us. He had asked me out back then but I turned him down cause my goal was getting a better future by winning the alpha prince's heart (Gary).

I told Charlotte about my feelings since we were best of friends, but how wrong I was. She wasn't my friend, she was a snake.

She sneaked her way into alpha Koi's (Gary's father) hearts and ended up marrying Gary. I knew I couldn't have Gary anymore so I ran back to the man I love, Larry but he didn't love me anymore, he took was enchanted by that witch.

He had vowed his undying loyalty to her and even went ahead to be her personal body guard.

Even when Charlotte bored our first prince, Jonathan Christopher (Jace), Larry didn't leave her side.

I waited and waited but he never came back for me, she had charmed him as well.

Years passed and still I couldn't get over her betrayal, I couldn't get married cause no one wanted me, since Charlotte had spread rumors about me being a prostitute, because I had confronted her one day in front of her wealthy friends.

19 years pass then suddenly Larry shows up on my door step a brown skin baby girl in hand. It was Cleopatra and she was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen, she even had his beautiful eyes.

I loved the kid from first sight, after all she was the child of the man I loved, but all the love I had die the moment I found out that he had her with my enemy Charlotte in secret, while her husband was on a business trip, and her son was on exile.

That witch had been in an affair with Larry all this time, and she dare called me the prostitute.

When Larry begged me to watch over Cleo, saying he life was in danger, because Charlotte wanted to silence him and he had to leave. I wanted to say no, cause I was broke and had a six month old daughter of my own, but because of the love I had for him I had to agree.

It would only be a few days, or so I thought but as the days turned to weeks, weeks to months and months to years.

It was clear that he wasn't coming back, because he was dead.

That witch killed him in other to protect herself, and there was nothing I could do about it cause she was Luna so I decided to vent on all my frustrations on Cleopatra, but she refused to die.

Even when I poured kerosene on her face, and forced her into a burning building, she came out with only a few burns and the alpha's prince's heart.

History was about to repeat itself, she becomes Luna and my daughter Liv becomes her subordinate.

Never!!!

I wasn't going to let that happen, that was why I keep pushing her towards Victor. I wanted her to be the prostitute, no one married this time, and now that she is pregnant I will make sure she aborts it and tell the entire pack about it.

She would be so depressed and miserable.

Let's see if she would still be able to live after that, and if she does survive I would just put project endgame into action.

Getting her older brother Jace to impregnate her, then revealing the truth'_ I think with great excitement welling up in my chest.

'That would be killing three birds with one stone'_ I think, before dailing Gwendolyn (The midwife who helps in all my abortions)

" Hello"

" Good evening Gwendolyn. Is everything ready?" I question upon hearing her answer.

" It has been ready an hour ago, but you better hurry cause I will be leaving soon" She informs, with a voice laced with urgency.

" I would bring her this evening. Just wait for us, I promise to pay you double" I assure stain.

She sighs.

" Fine , I am waiting " She gives in, hinting at boredom before hanging up.

All preparations are in order now, all I need to do now is fine a way to trick Cleopatra into going to see Gwendolyn.
