Chapter 5 They are Charming

Tristan's lips brushed against Daisy's hand in a soft and brief kiss. "You're welcome to come to me if you ever need help or find yourself in trouble. My brothers can be a lot to deal with, trust me." he proposed kindly.

Daisy's cheeks turned crimson. Why would he think she might get in trouble with his brothers? So far, she had found Lyriq impulsive but caring, and him... extremely endearing.

Something told her she was in good hands. Like a kind of soothing chilling feeling in her guts. It could be wrong. She hoped not.

"Thank you, Master Tristan." She bowed in the Victorian style.

Tristan smiled. "Please, call me Tristan. We're not formal here."

He wanted her to call him by his name? What maid does that to her master?

He released her hand, and for some reason, Daisy felt a pang of disappointment. What the heck was wrong with her?

"Adele, our sister, should be in the other wing of the mansion," Tristan said. "And Kristof, my brother, might be... Somewhere brooding as it is his favorite thing to do. But I'm sure you've already met Lyriq."

How on earth did he know she was out here trying to locate them all? She spoke with Master Lyriq about it, but not Master Tristan.

He even seemed to know that she had spoken to Master Lyriq. Was it her or were her employers kind of creepy?

Daisy's mouth parted slightly. "How... how did you know?"

"Let's just say that there's nothing that escapes my ears when I'm really trying to be snoopy." He replied, a corner of his mouth lifting puckishly.

Daisy laughed, feeling at ease with Tristan's charming nature.

As she bid Tristan bye, the connection she felt with him made her skin crawl. He was adorable, and if she didn't know better, she might have thought that he was flirting with her.

Except there was no way in hell that such a rich guy who could get any girl in the world would choose to flirt with a maid.

Nope, not possible. It was all in her head. She decided to focus on finding Adele and Kristof. Thanks to Tristan, she knew the brother she had yet to see was Kristof.

While walking through the labyrinthine halls, she found Adele walking out of a room.

"Hello, Daisy," the pretty woman said with a big smile. "Feeling better now?"

Daisy nodded, apologetic. "Yes, thank you, ma'am. I'm so sorry about fainting earlier. I... I don't know what happened. I promise I'm not always that clumsy."

Adele waved her hand dismissively. "Don't worry about it. We're glad you're okay."

With that, Adele continued on her way, leaving Daisy to ponder the siblings' kindness. People made it sound like they were some kind of horrible people.

From what Daisy had experienced so far, they were better than those judgey people calling them names.

Daisy's thoughts were interrupted by the sound of rustling papers and muttering coming from a nearby room. Oh, that might be her next stop.

She headed over to the door, her hand reaching for the doorknob. However, before she could, the door swung open, startling her.

Master Kristof stood before her, his blue eyes freezing Daisy in place. His angular facial shape and sharp jawline radiated an aura of intensity. His dark hair was longer than that of the rest of his brothers and packed in a low bun. He wore a black suit, white inner, and black tie.

He was simply... beautiful.

Daisy couldn't think of a better word. As boyishly cute as Master Lyriq was, as wittingly hot as Master Tristan was, none came close to Master Kristof in terms of looks.

The colliding of their eyes left her breathless. This man's presence evoked something buried deep within her and she had to retract her gaze because that was the only solution she could think of.

However, unlike his siblings, Kristof's demeanor was harsh and snobbish. He had told her to stay away from him, leaving Daisy confused.

He had seemed almost annoyed by her presence.

Daisy shook her head, trying to dismiss the thought. Maybe she was just imagining things. After all, she had only just met him.

She decided to shake off Kristof's cold demeanor and focus on her work. She wasn't here to care about who was nice to her and who wasn't anyway.

She had finally met all three DuSang brothers, and they were all as captivating as the rumors had suggested. Lyriq was the charming and mischievous one, Tristan was the enigmatic and sophisticated one, and Kristof... well, Kristof was an enigma in himself.

She spent the next few hours dusting the library, polishing the banisters, and vacuuming the floors. As she worked, she heard Master Lyriq's voice informing her that they were heading out.

However, she noticed that the car keys were still hung in place and none was taken. Hence, she grabbed one and hurried to the stairs.

"Don't worry, Daisy Flynn. We don't need that." Tristan shook his head from below.

Seeing all four of them together made them seem like some formidable sibling ready to take on the world.

Daisy was confused they weren't going to take any of the cars in their garage, but nodded with uncertainty. "Oh, sure, sure..."

She stepped back and stood timidly as they all gave her one last nod of the head, except for Kristof, of course before stepping out of the house.

Daisy held her breath all through. As soon as they had exited, she heaved a sigh of relief. It was super difficult to keep her composure in the presence of these people.

It wasn't about their wealthy status alone, no. There was this aura about them. This... superior ambiance that gave her goosebumps.

Not to mention how strangely attractive the men were.

"Whew!" She breathed out loud, and then, she remembered that she was all alone in this huge mansion.

She hugged herself, looking down at the living room from the staircase when the door suddenly burst open.

"Oh, my God!" Daisy gasped, petrified.
