　　CHRISTAL's POV

　　Where am i?

　　My eyes slowly opened, i was in a dark room, facing a dark wall. I turned my and saw a light- wait.

　　I'm in a cage?

　　I tried getting up but i failed, my neck stung like hell. It's where rick shot me the needle.

　　My anger was building up and the adrenaline of trying to escape boozed from me. I got up and held the cage bars. The silver burned me, resulting a scream from me.

　　"Jason! Get your ass here!" I screamed.

　　I was alone in the basement. Only a few werewolves were caged here. We don't get to catch a lot of rogues just because their territory was far away from us. That's why we seldom use this place.

　　"Christal!" Carly cries. I turned my head and saw her running to me. "Don't touch the bars, they're silver," I said.

　　"I know." She whimpers. "I'm so sorry Christal. I should've fought with you so that you would've to escape but i was so afraid of Alpha Jason."

　　"Shh don't cry. It's not your fault. I'll escape from here, don't waste a tear on me." I smiled.

　　"Escape? How? The bars are made of silver-coated with Wolfsbane." She frowns.

　　"Yeah i noticed." I said sarcastically,

　　"Im sorry."

　　"Whatever Carly stop being dramatic. So, where is Jason?"

　　She wiped her tears and looked at me. "He's upstairs talking to the elders."

　　"The Elders?! What the hell? How can they be here?"

　　"Christal, you've been asleep for two days."

　　I gasped. "I what?!"

　　"Yeah, only one day left till the Alpha King comes."

　　Many bad things keep coming huh? First Jason drank all the freakin Milk. Second, my brother discovers i'm a White Wolf. Third, they shot me a sleeping potion and it stung like hell. Fourth, the Alpha king is coming for me. And lastly, The Elders Comes in. The Elders, originally came from the RedBloodMoon Pack. They also have authority against all the Packs in our country.

　　"And Jason informed the Elders that i was the last White Wolf in the country?"

　　She nodded.

　　"So much for being a brother."

　　"Christal, he did it for the Pack and for you. You can't live without a Mate, your other half."

　　I can't tell her why i'm running away from him.

　　"What do you know about mates? You don't have one Carly." I said sounding Bitter. The room stayed silent and i knew that i practically hurt her with my mouthful words.

　　"Yeah, i don't." She sighs. "But he will come one day."

　　My brows furrowed. "Let me ask you something," I said and leaned, touching the bars made me yelp a bit but i endured it. "If you love someone deeply, when i mean deeply i mean so deep that leaving him is just like running out of air, will you be able to replace him?"

　　"No?" She says confused.

　　"Love has always been beautiful. But love can also leave unbearable pain that no one can heal." I said my voice barely a whisper.

　　"What are you saying?"

　　I looked at her confused." What do you mean?"

　　"You.. You talk like you already experienced love." She says trying to look at me and puzzle her thoughts.

　　"Just leave," I said and turned my back on her.

　　I can't have a Mate.

　　".. Please don't be angry." She started to cry again.

　　I had enough bullshit today. Jason, you better not show up because i'll really kill you. And be ready, i'm gonna escape this damned place

　　"Carly leave." A voice in the shadows.

　　I clutched my fists.

　　Look who bothered to show up.

　　"Jason." I growled, my canines slowly showing. I looked back at them.

　　Carly nodded then left

　　I glared towards my brother, "Hello dear brother."

　　"Christal, you're not here because you're a criminal or a rogue." He clearly states.

　　"Hmph, didn't you say that trashes end up in the Basement? Where are we Jason? Aren't i caged here?!"

　　"Christal!" He shouted, his voice echoing throughout the place. "You were trying to escape. And because you're a White Wolf you can easily beat up our warriors. It's better to lock you up in a cage than a room, so you would never escape."

　　I glared at him. "How can you do this? I'm your sister!"

　　"I know and this is our pack." He said angrily. "He won't kill you sis, if he is your mate he'll cherish you."

　　His words shocked me. I was looking into my deepest memories when he said that. I was looking at the very memory that made me run away from my Mate.

　　A tear fell down my cheek. "Maybe he will. But I can't."

　　"What do you mean?" He leans closer.

　　"Just please Jason, get me out! I can't be the Alpha King's Mate!"

　　He stared at my rampage for a while and i hated it. He doesn't understand! I can't be with him! I... Can't.

　　"Why are you resisting so much? You're gonna meet your mate."

　　"None of your business."

　　"It is, i'm your brother."

　　"You were my brother until you betrayed me," i said.

　　he doesn't scare me. If there is anyone who can fight with the Alpha, it's me his Sister.

　　"What's going on with you? It's not like he's gonna kill you. Why are you so hardheaded? Aren't you happy? I'm handing you over to your mate."

　　"I'm not! Just let me go!"

　　"No!" He glared at me. "After you hid everything from me, do you think i have forgiven you?"

　　I chuckled bitterly. "Asshole, if i said it to you. Wouldn't you happily hand me over to another Alpha? I'm not stupid Jason. And i don't care if you don't forgive me, i was doing it for myself."

　　I can already see his wolf urging him to kill me. I was irritating him so much, And I could care less. He must be clueless why i'm so hysteric from seeing my mate. He doesn't understand.

　　"Our conversation is over. The Alpha King will be showing up tomorrow." He said then he left.

　　There's no way i'll meet that Alpha Mutt.

　　I sat down and tried to calm myself first before i start planning my escape tonight. It has to be tonight, he might caught up to me tomorrow and most of the guarding patrol are lazy as hell when it's the Night.

　　This is My Last Chance.

　　It's already nighttime.

　　I stood up from the cold ground and looked up the sky, thankfully my cage has a small window at the middle, but i couldn't possibly fit through there. I've already thought of using my powers as a White Wolf. I looked around and saw that the guard who was guarding the basement is fast asleep. Good.

　　'Are you really going to do this?' Gina, my Wolf says.

　　"Gina, you know the reason why we can't be with him." I whispered. "So just shut up and lend me your power."

　　'But what if he's really our mate?' She whimpers.

　　She hasn't been talking to me until now after this all incident happened. She was actually glad that she would finally meet her mate but i wasn't. Gina is a foolish White Wolf.

　　'I can hear you ya know'

　　"Whatever just do it."

　　I grinned to myself when i heard my bones cracking, i shifted into my White wolf and boy it feels so refreshing to be in Wolf-Form. I feel stronger and bigger, Literally. I stood in front of the wall and raised my paw. My claws going as sharper as ever, i was changing its physical Nature. I stick my sharp claw on the wall and started doing a circular motion. A circular hole formed in front of me, Jason is Stupid, he doesn't want to hurt me that's why he didn't put up a collar on me.

　　A collar is like a torture instrument that is used for rogues who are caged in their cells, so they won't be able to shift.

　　Grinning to myself, I shifted back and crawled into the hole that i made. Thankfully the wall was thinner than i expected, I immediately saw the grasses that were beneath me, the moon reflecting its light from the sun is breathtaking. If i wanted to, I would sit here and relax all day but i can't, not right now.

　　I'm not yet done.

　　Now i'm gonna be like the Maze runner and fucking run.

　　I did run as fast as i could before i can be spotted. I have to get to the forest! I will be safe there for now.

　　Taking out my bag, I stopped at my tracks and took the Blue Jar that Carly gave me. I sprayed it into myself then i started running off again. I successfully made it into the forest and i sighed in relief.

　　Being in human form is exhausting!

　　I smelled the air to see if there was an enemy around, no one.

　　Now i need to get to the human City.
