Chapter 2 Finished with your nightly escapades

The Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae Roadster came to a halt in front of an abandoned factory, casting an eerie atmosphere around it. The hooting of owls in the distance only added to the unsettling ambiance and could even a strong alpha hesitate before entering the decrepit building.

Icarus, engrossed in his mobile phone, stepped out of the car with a mischievous grin on his lips.

"Finally, you're here, my twin brother," a voice echoed, causing Icarus to look up from his phone, making him come out of the enchantment of purple eyed beauty.

"Why the rush, little brother? We have the whole night to get answers from him," Icarus replied, his tone calm and composed, despite the eerie surroundings.

Isaias couldn't help but roll his eyes at his older twin, a habit that never failed to irritate Icarus.

"Don't you dare roll your eyes at me, Isaias," Icarus warned sternly.

"I won't listen to you," Isaias retorted defiantly.

"You told me you were nearby and would be back soon. What took you so long to get here? Are you testing my patience?" Isaias complained about his twin brother's lack of punctuality.

"You wouldn't believe it if I told you. I ran into someone quite intriguing on the way back. She's utterly oblivious. Absolutely fuckable," the elder brother licked his lips, showing Isaias a picture of the purple-eyed beauty. Isaias' eyes darkened at the sight, clearly affected by the image.

"So, you've found yourself a tempting treat, served up on a platter," Isaias remarked with a hint of envy.

"I haven't sampled it yet. Waiting for the right moment. But let's set that aside for now. Has he uttered anything to save his miserable life?"

"Not a word. I think he's begging for death at our hands," Isaias replied, cracking his knuckles in frustration.

Icarus followed Isaias' gaze to a man covered in wounds, kneeling on the floor, head hung low. Icarus approached the man, who was still defiantly resisting his impending fate, and yanked his hair, forcing him to meet Icarus' gaze.

"What does it feel like to reap the consequences of your actions from twenty years ago?" Icarus growled menacingly.

"I regret not killing you two, you son of a bitches," the man spat at Icarus. Icarus clicked his tongue disapprovingly.

"Tsk... Tsk... Tsk... You made a grave error by letting us slip away that year," Icarus said, turning to leave but not before delivering a brutal punch to the man's stomach, eliciting a painful groan. The man coughed up blood, clearly feeling the impact.

Isaias handed Icarus a tissue, and he wiped his face clean before squatting down in front of the man.

"Twenty years ago, you and your pack took our mother, accused her of having foreign blood, of being tainted, a foul creature. Wasn't it you who labeled our mother a witch?"

"We only heard about her death after you took her away. Who beheaded her? You or your pack leader? Who gave the order?" Icarus demanded, his voice seething with anger. The man dared not meet the intensity of Icarus' gaze, keeping his eyes fixed on the ground. Another punishing punch landed in his stomach, making him grunt in agony.

"You shouldn't have provoked him. Tell us everything, or you'll endure his torture. Choose your fate," Isaias warned, his eyes fixed on the blood, a disturbing hunger gleaming within them.

"We know you didn't kill her, but you kept her for some other purpose. Reveal her whereabouts, and I'll consider granting you the chance to see your family again," Icarus offered, his voice carrying a hint of mercy. The man regarded him with disbelief. He was on the verge of saying something when a realization seemed to dawn upon him.

"I don't know what you're talking about. She was punished by the pack. If you don't believe me, check the records regarding the 'tainted' blood," he emphasized the word 'tainted,' triggering growls from the two young alphas.

Isaias approached the man and delivered a hard kick, causing him to collide with the pillar he was tied to. The impact was enough to render him unconscious.

"You shouldn't have kicked him," Icarus chided his younger brother.

"He'd already pushed me to my limit. I had no desire to keep him breathing any longer. And how could you even think of offering him mercy after the way he looked at our mother?" Isaias fumed, his anger fueled by the man's derogatory comments about their mother.

"Did I promise to spare his life? I only said I'd set him free. That doesn't mean I'll let him live," Icarus smirked. Isaias shook his head, understanding his brother's true intentions. Icarus retrieved his mobile phone, which chimed, casting a bright light across his face.

"I've already set her picture as wallpaper in my mobile," Icarus grinned and Isaias pleased with his idea.

"I wouldn't want to miss the chance to gaze upon her whenever I please," Icarus chuckled, feigning adoration for his "princess." In reality, the devil within him desired to possess her.

Leaving the man's unconscious body behind, they both exited the abandoned factory.

"Should we share the details of our little visit?" Isaias pouted, earning a chuckle from Icarus.

"Why not? After all, one day, she'll be ours as well," Icarus sniggered.

"That'll be quite the entertainment. I can hardly wait to see those violet eyes pleading before us," Isaias snickered in agreement.

"But before that, let's track down those old bastards and make them taste a slice of hell. They deserve punishment for their sins, don't they?" Icarus furrowed his brow, and Isaias nodded in agreement. They each got into their respective cars and drove away from the scene.

When they arrived home, it was already past 11:15 PM. Sneaking into the villa, they found the lights dimmed, indicating that sleep had already claimed the household.

"Finished with your nightly escapades?" their father's voice emerged from the darkness, catching them in the act. Both of them puffed their cheeks, knowing they had been caught by their dad. Dareen emerged from the shadows and stood before his boys.

"That's not fair, Dad. We just went out for a few drinks. You can't keep us locked up like this," Icarus whined, attempting to sway his father with a puppy-dog face. Isaias, on the other hand, rolled his eyes once more. Quite the performance, but alas, there was no audience to appreciate his brother's dramatics.

"Remember, this isn't our territory to roam freely. This is the land from which we were driven away," Dareen spoke with a tinge of bitterness. Both boys draped their arms around their father's shoulders, offering comfort.

"We understand, Dad. We won't forget, and we won't forgive," their eyes held a fierce determination, but softened as they saw their father's sorrow for the past.

"Alright... alright... go get some rest. We'll talk tomorrow," Dareen gently nudged his sons away. They smiled, bidding their father goodnight before retiring to their individual rooms, preparing for a night of seemingly peaceful sleep.

Yet, peace was but a fleeting illusion for them, especially after the sight of blood. Cravings, after all, don't fade easily, even if it takes countless years to satiate them.
