Marco Morano sat in his office, staring at Alessandro Bianchi as he walked out the door.
"What did he mean by that?" Sophia asked, turning to her father.
Marco's face was grim. "I don't know," he said. "But I have a feeling that we're in trouble."
Sophia nodded, feeling a sense of unease. She knew that Alessandro Bianchi was a man who would stop at nothing to get what he wanted.
As they sat there, trying to make sense of Alessandro's ultimatum, Sophia's phone rang.
She answered it, listening for a moment before her eyes widened in surprise.
"What is it?" Marco asked, noticing the look on her face.
Sophia hesitated before answering. "It's Alessandro," she said. "He wants to meet with me tonight. Alone."
Marco's face darkened. "You're not going," he said.
But Sophia shook her head. "I have to go," she said. "I need to know what he wants."
Marco's eyes narrowed, but he knew that Sophia was right. They needed to know what Alessandro was planning.
"Be careful," Marco said, his voice low and serious.
Sophia nodded, feeling a sense of determination. She was ready to face whatever Alessandro had planned.
But as she walked out of the house that night, Sophia couldn't shake the feeling that she was walking into a trap.
CHAPTER 9: THE MEETING
Sophia walked into the abandoned warehouse, her heart pounding in her chest. She had been warned not to come alone, but she had to know what Alessandro wanted.
As she walked deeper into the warehouse, Sophia saw Alessandro standing in the shadows. He was alone, and Sophia felt a sense of relief wash over her.
"Alessandro," Sophia said, her voice firm. "What do you want?"
Alessandro smiled, his eyes glinting in the dim light. "I want to make you an offer," he said. "An offer that you can't refuse."
Sophia's eyes narrowed, unsure of what Alessandro was planning. But she knew that she had to be careful.
"What kind of offer?" Sophia asked, her voice cautious.
Alessandro smiled again, his eyes glinting with amusement.
"I'll tell you," he said. "But first, you have to do something for me."
Sophia's eyes narrowed, unsure of what Alessandro was planning. But she knew that she had to be careful.
"What do I have to do?" Sophia asked, her voice firm.
Alessandro smiled again, his eyes glinting with amusement.
"You have to come with me," he said. "To a place where you'll be safe."
Sophia's eyes widened in surprise, unsure of what Alessandro was planning. But she knew that she had to be careful.
"I'm not going anywhere with you," Sophia said, her voice firm.
Alessandro's smile faltered for a moment, before he regained his composure.
"We'll see about that," he said, his voice low and menacing.
And with that, Alessandro reached out and grabbed Sophia's arm, pulling her towards him.
Sophia struggled against his grip, but Alessandro was too strong. He pulled her towards the door, and Sophia knew that she was in grave danger.
Sophia struggled against Alessandro's grip as he pulled her out of the warehouse. She knew that she had to escape, but Alessandro was too strong.
As they walked through the dark streets, Sophia saw a chance to escape. She pulled her arm free from Alessandro's grip and ran, her feet pounding the pavement.
But Alessandro was too quick. He caught up to Sophia and grabbed her again, pulling her towards a waiting car.
Sophia struggled against his grip, but it was no use. Alessandro pushed her into the car and got in beside her.
As the car drove away, Sophia knew that she was in grave danger. She was at Alessandro's mercy, and she had no idea what he planned to do with her.
But Sophia was not one to give up easily. She knew that she had to escape, no matter what it took.
And so, Sophia began to think, to plan, and to scheme. She would escape from Alessandro, no matter what it took.
But little did Sophia know, Alessandro had a surprise waiting for her. A surprise that would change everything.
