AVERY's POV

I was so close to suffocating to death. The room was a little dark so it was hard to recognize this person.

I kept tapping on the person's chest and it was a man.

He pushed me to the ground and turned on the light. I quickly looked at the person's face and it was my principal, Mr Scofield.

"What was that? You almost killed me!"

I was on my feet and Mr Scofield had run into the shower.

I pushed him and stepped outside but he held my hands.

AXELL's POV

"I guess you needed help, so I came to rescue you"

"I really needed it! Thanks"

She said sharply and we walked downstairs together. She had a frown but I wasn't sure why.

"Ah, a pretty lady should always have a smile on her face"

We both chuckled lightly and she kept staring around. I noticed she was not comfortable with what she wore, more like she felt out of place. Or the environment was not soothing enough for her.

"You can have my jacket if you want."

"If you haven't noticed we both look so out of place here.. You have a black suit on while I have a red dress"

"I will say we both look special and different"

She stared at me and for a minute we were both locked into each other's eyes.

"By the way I am Axell"

I quickly broke the silence and then got her a glass of champagne.

"I am Avery.. Axell is a rather unique name"

"So is Avery"

"So who is Axell to Mr Scofield?"

"I will say business partners, and you?"

"Same! He is the principal of the school where I work. I think I might be leaving soon"

"Oh"

I don't like getting into people's business so I didn't bother to ask her questions.

Mr Scofield walked up to us and shook our hands. I noticed the handshake between them was a little odd but I was too locked in her body to bother about any other thing.

"Well, I mean it is the weekend, right? I don't need to worry about work tomorrow. I guess I can spare some hours with Mr. Axell"

She looked a bit confused by my words but I didn't give her any chance to think about it or have second thoughts.

I pulled her by the waist and she looked stunned.

"Aren't you a bit too forward, Mr Axell?"

"Am I? Women love all these, right?"

"I think I should call my friend and tell her about my plans. I will feel safer that way"

We stood beside the car and had a conversation for close to 5 minutes before she agreed to go with me. I told my guard to drive her car and follow behind us.

After about an hour of driving, we got to my house and I convinced her to join me in taking Tequila shots.
