Chapter 2 Offered a Job

Mr. Rudi did not continue his sentence, because he saw the car door which had not been closed by his employer when he got out of the car earlier, so the security guard rushed to the door to close it.

After the car door was closed, Mr. Rudi returned to his employer. "This is it, Madam, he actually didn't want to visit but because his friend gave him the address of this house, that's why he came here. Meanwhile, I have never heard his friend's name, let alone seen him come to this house." explained the security guard.

The beautiful woman who was Mr. Rudi's employer seemed to nod, it seemed like she understood what the security guard meant. "That means he wants to meet his friend, but the address given is this house address. Is that right, Mr. Rudi?"

"That's right, Madam." replied the security guard.

The beautiful woman who owns a luxury house then walked over to Roy who was at that time looking at a WA message from Ronal about the apartment address he gave, Roy seemed unaware and did not hear that he had just become the topic of conversation between the security guard and the beautiful woman who was now approaching him.

"So your friend gave you this house address?" asked the beautiful 29-year-old woman while greeting her.

Roy who was daydreaming was surprised, then turned his face towards the beautiful woman who was standing beside him. "Yes ma'am, but it's okay. I will contact my friend again to ask for her apartment address, who knows if her number is active because I've been calling her but she hasn't answered."

Roy seemed to take a deep breath besides being surprised to be approached by the woman who owns the luxury house behind where he was standing at that time, he also felt that he had been deceived by Ronal. Roy then contacted Ronal again, but repeatedly he tried but still couldn't be contacted because the number he was calling was still inactive.

The beautiful 29-year-old woman spoke again. "Actually, what is the purpose of you wanting to meet your friend?"

"She promised to wait and meet me at the address she gave, the purpose of me coming to meet her is to work with her in this city," answered Roy with an annoyed and sad expression because he didn't expect Ronal to be so cruel to lie to him.

"Where are you from?" asked the beautiful woman with a sexy body.

"From village ma'am." answered Roy.

The beautiful woman who owned the luxury house was shocked and then shook her head, it seemed she could already guess that the handsome man who came all the way from village had been lied to by her best friend. "It seems like your friend deliberately gave the wrong address, not the apartment but the address of this house."

Roy nodded, his expression clearly showed that he was very upset and sad. "Yes, ma'am, I didn't expect him to do that to me."

The woman who owned the luxury house smiled kindly, it seemed she was trying to calm Roy's sad heart because he had been deceived by her best friend. "What's your name?"

"My name is Roy, ma'am." The beautiful woman smiled again. "Don't call me ma'am, my name is Angel, just call me auntie." The beautiful woman asked while extending her hand and Roy shook it.

"Okay ma'am, oh sorry auntie." Roy was heard repeating his nickname for the beautiful woman named Angel who was standing beside him.

"I'm the owner of this house, what did you graduate from?" Angel asked.

"High school, auntie." Angel seemed surprised to hear Roy's answer.

"He was so determined, with only a high school diploma coming to this city to find his friend to work. But I see that he is an innocent and honest person, maybe his friend deliberately gave the wrong address so that Roy ended up in this house. Poor thing, but of course I can't accept him to work in the office as an Office Boy for now. Do you want me to employ him in this house to take care of the garden for a while?" Angel muttered to herself, besides feeling sorry for her, she also saw Roy as an innocent and honest man.

Angel then asked again. "Then where are you going to look for your friend now?"

Roy took a deep breath, the annoyance and sadness in his heart increased with a disappointment. "I don't know, Auntie, I'm also confused about where to look for him. Meanwhile, his cellphone has been inactive since I arrived in this city."

For a while, Angel observed Roy from head to toe, then she smiled again. "If you want, you can stay and I will employ you in this house as a gardener. How about it, are you willing?"

Roy was immediately shocked to hear Angel's offer, he did not expect at all that the beautiful woman standing beside him was offering him a job. "Is that true, Auntie?" Roy asked as if he did not believe the offer from the beautiful, sexy woman.

Angel nodded her head to confirm what she had offered earlier.

"Yes, Auntie, I am willing to do any job. Never mind taking care of the garden, cleaning the entire yard of this house and anything that needs my help later, I will do it." Roy accepted Angel's offer without thinking twice because he did not know where to look for Ronal while it was getting dusk and it would soon be dark.

Roy also thought that returning to Italy would not be possible that quickly, because he did not want to see his parents in Italy disappointed by what happened to him when he was deceived by Ronal.

It had been a week since Roy had been working at Angel's house as a gardener. One Sunday afternoon when Angel was about to take a shower in the bathroom in her private room, suddenly the shower didn't turn on. Finding that, wearing only a kimono towel, she went downstairs to the bathroom at the back near the kitchen which was usually used by the maids and Roy to take a shower.

Roy, who was in his room at that time after cleaning the backyard and watering the garden, also intended to go to the bathroom.

"Hey, there's Auntie! Why do you want to take a shower in this bathroom?" Roy asked after previously being surprised to find his employer in the bathroom, Angel answered casually with a smile.

"Hmmm, yes Roy, the shower in my bathroom is off." Roy seemed to frown trying to remember and reconfirm what his employer had just said, after being sure he responded.

"Can I see Auntie? Who knows I can turn it back on." Angel doubted that Roy could fix the shower which she thought was broken. "Can you fix it?" Angel asked.

Roy scratched his head for a moment then answered. "Yeah, I can't be sure yet. But there's no harm in me checking first, who knows maybe there's a broken cable."

Angel shook her head. "You just finished cleaning the backyard and watering the garden so you should just take a rest first after that it's your turn to take a shower here, later I'll call the service person to fix the broken shower." Angel said, Roy seemed to still insist on helping. "It's okay Auntie, I'm not tired."

"Okay then, let's check it out!" Angel invited who had given up on her intention to take a shower in the bathroom near the kitchen.

Roy walked up the stairs accompanying Angel upstairs to the private room of the mistress of the luxurious house, after arriving in front of the door Roy stopped his steps because he felt awkward to come in because Angel was in the room.

"Come in, Roy! Hey, why are you just staring blankly? The bathroom is in here." Angel exclaimed who had already entered her room.

"Yes Auntie." Roy said suddenly because he was surprised that he didn't expect his awkward attitude to enter the room to be known by Angel.

Roy then entered the luxurious room, then headed to the bathroom where the shower was not on. Roy then looked from the base to the end of the shower, as well as the electric socket and its cables. It turned out that the connection cable to turn on the shower was broken by one strand, Roy was sure that was the cause of the shower in the bathroom being off.

Roy immediately repaired the broken cable by reconnecting it, after that it was wrapped with a cable wrap that he asked for from Mrs. Surti, one of the maids downstairs in the back room. Then Roy plugged the cable back in, automatically the shower that had been turned on immediately sprayed water.

"Auuuuuuuuu..!" Angel screamed in surprise when the shower sprayed water, because her position was standing under the shower when she was focused on watching Roy work...
