I asked in shock . It was all my fault ...NO! NO! NO! Half of it was my fault

"I had a daughter to look after "

Susanna bossly said storming on our conversation.

I walked down the hallway, searching for the first aid room .

"What did Mrs Noah give you for today "I asked Kitty, who seemed a little confused. Mrs Noah was a widow who lived next door. To my surprise she took responsibility for taking care of kitty whenever she wasn't around.

Although she has 3 kids,but were adults now , fending for themselves and family.

"Mommy " kitty woke me up from my dretchful thinking. I was actually lost in thought because of the man I saw earlier.

I didn't get a longer look of the man , he seemed handsome and rich for my liking .

"Hmmm mommy seems to be in love "

I pushed aside , turning her hot milk before passing it to her .

"Come on , drink it up" kitty gave me the sweetest, yet dangerous smile before drinking her milk

Oh my world ! Kitty is such a smart kid on another note, I had so many things on my plate

Kitty's school fees, the house rent , electricity bills , water bills and q whole lot of bills , meaning love is far from me!!!

It wasn't for her cause she never believed in it anyway , not even in marriage.

I would rather live single than pledge loyalty to some man to be with them forever .

"Mom , Mila" a tear slided down my cheeks .as I stared at their picture.

Mom lived a perfect life , but made the biggest mistake of her life that led her to an early grave .

My father was a beast , a devil's incarnate. Lucky for him he passed away after mom's death .

As for mila , she didn't tell me the whole story of what happened to her . All I knew was , she left home in search of money , ended up being a contract wife ...and shortly she passed away .

Tears began briming up my eyes when I saw my daughter in the hospital bed, begging for her life .

Nothing hurts more than seeing her in this condition.

"The doctor said it is a life and death situation "

I cried to Isa , after my daily prayers. Isabelle has helped me in all possible ways ..but where was I going to get ..that kind of money for Kitty's treatment.
