Chapter 3 Let's shake hands

As Lisa hurried back to her art studio, her mind raced with ideas to save her business from bankruptcy. Few minutes into her thoughts Mr Smithson arrived with thugs, the whole studio was turned upside down.

Lisa sat on one spot crying. a few minutes later Tabitha arrived with Mrs rosé, they saw the state of the studio and met Lisa crying.

"Mom, I failed Dad."

" I couldn't protect this studio"

" Dad will be disappointed" she lamented

" No, we will buiyit up again, it's not your fault, it's the robbers fault" Mrs rosé comforted her.

Lisa was brought back she narrated her discovery to them.

"What?" Tabitha and Mrs rosé said in unison.

Alex? A thief?

Let's call the cops on him!

Did they call the cops?

Well,they did but it was too late, Alex left the country already

She knew that for her to rescue her dying art studio she needed a miracle

And Jayden stone could be her only hope

" Mom,tabby, I'll be leaving the studio. I need to go home and shower!" Lisa said as she made her way out of the studio.

"Mom, I'll go with her" Tabitha said as she followed Lisa out of the studio.

*** Few hours ago***

A knock could be heard on jayden's door.

"Come in" his deep voice echoed.

Rachel came in.

Sir, I don't think the Jacobs art studio acquisition will be necessary.

"Why?"

It is at the verge of bankruptcy.

"Isn't that more reason to acquire it?" His voice came out again.

"No sir"Rachel replied

I emailed you the details.

"I don't want to listen to the details, so no problem.

Let's discuss other important things.

Jayden was driving out when he saw her

That stiff lady who refused to bend to his charms,

He stopped his car.

" Lisa!" He mouthed.

He saw her arguing with someone, her talks were inaudible but he knew she was pained,

He brought out his phone and check his email,

'Stolen art piece'

Is he the thief?

He was still thinking when rain started drizzling.

Not long after Lisa stormed out of the place, lost in thoughts.

He watched as she walked in the rain

He came out of his car and brought out the umbrella from his booth and was ran to her with it.

After showering,Lisa and Tabitha went out headed to T&S companies unlimited.

After following due protocols

She was allowed into the CEO's office after notifying him

Arriving at Jayden's office, Lisa took a deep breath before knocking on the door. Jayden opened the door, an unreadable look on his face.

Lisa, what brings you here? Jayden asked.

I need your help, Lisa said, her voice determined.

Jayden raised an eyebrow, intrigued by her sudden visit.

My art studio is on the verge of bankruptcy, and I need a partner to help me save it, Lisa explained.

Jayden considered her offer for a moment before a smile crept across his face.

I have a proposal for you as well, Jayden said.

After viewing the downfall of your art studio, I've known a few things, you lack experience,

I'll give you a chance, work as an employee in the art department for two months, if you do well.

I'll agree to the partnership.

She turned and looked at Tabitha whose face had mixed reactions.

" It's a win-win situation for us both isn't it?"

"Let's shake hands"

Lisa felt a surge of hope as she extended her hand to Jayden. They shook on it,

As Lisa's hand touched Jayden's, a spark of electricity ran through him.

"Deal," Jayden said, his eyes locking onto hers.

Tabitha nodded, a hesitant smile on her face.

Lisa withdrew her hand, feeling a sense of determination.

"I won't let you down," Lisa promised.

Jayden chuckled.

"I expect nothing less."

Lisa and Tabitha left T&S Companies Unlimited, hope renewed.

"Are you sure about this?" Tabitha asked.

Lisa nodded.

"It's our only chance."

Back at Jayden's office, Rachel raised an eyebrow.

"Sir, you're partnering with Jacobs Art Studio?"

Jayden leaned back in his chair.

"Yes. I see potential."

Rachel's expression turned skeptical.

"Potential or something else?"

Jayden's gaze narrowed.

"Focus on the business aspect."

The next day

Rumors spread like wildfire through T&S Companies Unlimited.

"Did you hear? The owner of Jacobs Art Studio is joining our team."

Whispers filled the hallways.

"I heard she's stunning."

"No way, I bet she's old and grey."

"I don't care about her looks; I want to see her art skills."

The art department buzzed with excitement.

Lisa walked in, her confident stride commanding attention.

Heads turned.

Gazes locked onto her.

The room fell silent.

Lisa's beauty surpassed expectations.

Her long, curly hair cascaded down her back.

Her bright smile lit up the room.

Her elegant dress accentuated her curves.

The team's whispers turned to awed silence.

Jayden appeared, a hint of satisfaction on his face.

"Everyone, meet Lisa Jacobs, our new team member."

Lisa's determination shone as she began her two-month trial.
