Chapter 2 NO ONE MESSES WITH HIM

"I need a bath, a change of clothes"

"Follow me" she says, I follow her, still admiring the house, never seen anything like it laced with pure gold, potryaing, affluence and royalty.

DANTE

I sit on the couch, with my laptop, I remember how she try to drink, and ended up asleep.

A lioness she is, more braver than I thought, I could keep her safe if she does not try to step on my toes.

"Boss Dante" I look up to see her and the maid.

My eyes take him, her appearance from head to toe, she's beautiful, with curves that'd be better in tight clothes, not plain clothes, I hadn't taken a good look at her yesterday, but now in daylight, fuck.

"Boss Dante" she says.

"Call me Dante, what are you doing here? I ask, my voice cold.

" To see you "defiant gaze meets mine

" What do you want?

"To go to college"

"You will go, I won't stop you"

"What if I run away?

" You won't, your beloved Dad, will have to bear the consequences of your action, not only him "

" Who else? She ask nonchalantly

"Your friends and boyfriend" her face reddens

"I don't have a boyfriend" she says

"Oh , kids of this age are all aquatinted with one"

"I'm not a kid Boss Dante, I'm a woman, treat me like one" I stare at her.

No one talks to me so casually, how's she doing it without fear, seems like I'll scare her a bit.

"You're a woman right?

" Yes"

" Can you satisfy a man? Can you give me what I want? I say pulling down the buttons of my shirt, while staring at her.

She stares at me open eyed.

JES.

I follow his hand movements, I watch as he unbottens his shirt in shock.

He looks me from head to toe and I redden from his stares.

What is he doing?

"You in? He grins.

" I'm a woman, I'm not a whore, most definitely not your whore " I say and walk back to my room.

Damn him.

I knew he was trying to scare me, I knew he could do worse, do I have to sleep with a knife at my bedside.

He wouldn't go against the agreement, he wouldn't try to touch me.

Thinking I'd give consent, cos even if Dante was the last man on earth, I'd never look his way.

Never.

I hate the man, more like despise, I should be at home now with Dad, with my friends who love me, but I'm with Dante, bad, big, despicable man.

I sigh, I'm really hungry.

The woman who'd brought me clean changes of clothes earlier comes in.

"Are you hungry, what do you want to eat?

Was tempted to say nothing, but I'm terribly hungry, no need starving myself,I need to be fit, when Dad comes.

"Anything available ma'am" I say.

"Don't call me ma'am, call me mama Tete" she says with a warm smile.

I wonder how any one could still have that warm smile, having to live with Dante.

She seems happy,more to my surprise.

"Anything,mama Tete" I repeat, she smiles and Walk out, only to come back with other assistants with load of dishes,I stare in awe, how do they expect me to finish all this?!

"This is too much" I stare at the spaghetti, salad, macaroni chips, hot dog,chips,salad, chicken and soup.

"It's little ma'am,Boss Dante wants us to take good care of you" I smile at the short,fair assistant.

" I'm okay with just little"

I watch as they bow and walk out.

Taking care of me huh.

More like taking care,that his money comes safely.

I take in the soup;

It's good, definitely going to get over this hangover.

After eating, the maid comes in to take up the remnants.

"Ma'am,we have orders to take you up to your room"

"This room...."

"It's just one of the guest house, we've been preparing your room,please follow us"

" I'm comfortable here, please"

" Ma'am, Dante will lash out at us, please ma'am"

Of course he would.

I pack my bags and follow them,I wouldn't risk anyone getting hurt because of me.

I follow them, and they open the doors to a bright stunning room.

Nothing like the dark golden colour's, I'd seen.

But bright aesthetic, colours and designs.

I look around in wonder, who used to be in this room?

How did Dante know the things I like?

Cos they were stocks of books lined on everyside, followed by flowers, a laptop, music and game collections, and clothing's..

I look in surprise, obviously wowed.

"I got everything, he gave orders and money" the fair assistant assistant I'd notice earlier, had a satisfied grin on her face.

Nice knowing he's spending money, that I'm taking a few bucks from his pocket.

"Hope you enjoy your stay" she smiles, bowing.

I watch as they walk away in a single file.

I don't know how long I'll be here,I stare at the designs, and the princess, sized designed bed.

I stare at the clothes, almost nearly my normal fashion sense.

His maid got them, I'd give them a point.

I lay on the bed knowing fully well my new life has started.

I stay in my room, reading, I didn't want out.

I didn't want to see Dante.

I'll try avoid him as much as possible.

DANTE.

I watch the man sitting in front of me, obviously panicking.

"What happened to the funds? I ask.

" They're intact" he says.

" You know,I hate lies"I say, turning upside down and staring at the pistol.

" Please Boss, I...used it, spare me"

" Should have told me first in the first place" I say and shoot him repeatedly, he fell off, dead.

I drink the glass of Scotch, in front of me.

No one messes with me and go free, I made sure they all payed with their life.
