"You don't have to act here!"

Renee stared at Irina's hand holding her, threatening, "If you don't let go of me, I don't mind making you miscarry here!"

"Renee, what are you talking about? Aren't we a family?"

"Oh, family. Is my family so good that she can go to her brother-in-law's bed?"

Renee retorted. For so many years, Irina had used this trick to attract her parents' pity and make them feel Renee was arrogant. Irina relied on her parents to bully Renee. But in fact, Irina was the arrogant one!

"Don't get too far!" Irina suddenly smiled. Her face changed from her previous innocence to extreme arrogance. "I did everything to win it! Are you going to take it away by just one sentence? Dream on!" she shouted.

Renee was confused for an instant but quickly calmed down. She said, "Aren't you afraid I'll tell Nevin the truth about your baby?"

A hint of panic flashed across Irina's face. "Do you think he believes in me or you?"

Renee fell silent.

If she had slept with Nevin, her words might have some credibility, but Nevin never touched her!

If Irina hadn't taken the initiative to find her today and accidentally told the truth, she might never have known Nevin's infertility.

Besides, Nevin was arrogant enough. He must believe Irina had his baby.

She cannot gamble on this little possibility.
