Chapter 1 PROLOGUE

"GOODNESS GRACIOUS,GREAT BALLS OF FIRE! I'm definitely going to need to see a shrink after witnessing this! I guess I should've knocked first, buttttt, I'm here now, and I have very important news, Alpha!" Damn this Beta, of mine! I warned him on numerous occasions not to just storm into my room without getting permission to enter first! Guess it's on me for forgetting once again to lock the damn door! "PLEASE, DON'T STOP, ALPHA! SEND HIM AWAY!" Hearing my Omega sluts pleading with me not to stop when I was pounding into them was normally music to my ears, however, not this time around. I was more interested in hearing what important news my Beta had. And besides, it wasn't like he was actually interrupting something I was getting immense pleasure from. None of the Omegas I f*ck completely satisfy my hunger. Celeste is one of my favourites and had come close a couple of times, but 'something' was missing, perhaps it's because none of them were my fated mate. "THIS BETTER BE A MATTER OF LIFE OR DEATH MICHAEL OR I WILL HAVE YOUR HEAD!" Michael didn't seem one bit apologetic for disturbing me, nor did he show any signs of discomfort having walked in on me boning Celeste. He looked way too excited about the news he was on about, so it best be good! "Well, it's not exactly a matter of life or death, but it is very important. I'll make it up to her later. Michael was not very fond of Celeste and smiled from ear to ear when I told her to get out! He always said that she was 'Bad News', whatever the heck he had against her, I couldn't care. "WIPE THAT STUPID GRIN OFF YOUR FACE AND START TALKING! WHAT NEWS DID YOU BRING?"

A few months ago, the Moon Goddess told me about my fated mate, the future Luna of my pack. Apparently, She had no idea that our 'kind' existed as she was given to a pure, human couple after the death of her parents. Her memories of her true self were erased by a powerful sorceress. Now that she has come of age, it was time for the truth to be revealed to her. I am not ready to be tied down to a mate! I enjoy my life the way it is. I can pick out anyone I want from my pack of Omega sluts who are always ready and eager to do just about anything to try and please me. But, according to the Moon

Goddess, there is some prophecy that has to be fulfilled. She made it very clear that I must not reject my mate, or my pack would suffer the consequences. It's a whole lot of hogwash! I don't know what is so special about her and why the Moon Goddess would doubt my ability to protect my pack. I have been doing it for years! Not only do I possess great physical strength, but I also have great wealth and power. I am feared by many, and I have never lost on the battlefield. Oh well, if I am forced into accepting her as my mate, then I guess she would be a welcomed addition to my pack of sluts and can do her bit in satisfying my sexual desires!

"Alpha, I managed to track your mate all the way to Paris. She's studying at a University there. She is BEAUTIFUL! You will be blown away for sure. It'll definitely be love at first sight. She looks like a Goddess! Her name is Akira." Interesting... I was not expecting that. For some reason, I pictured her to be a boring, nerdy looking geek girl. "She was living in an apartment with a guy, but they packed up and left in a hurry late last night. I followed them to the airport, and they took a flight to LA. They may have discovered that I was following them, so I decided it safer to return to the pack house" I could not explain it, why did I feel jealous when Michael mentioned she was living with a guy? She's a total stranger to me! Couples living together before marriage is the norm now. They were probably in a serious relationship. Pity for them, though. Whatever it is that they have is going to end soon! I've been through hell and back ensuring the survival of the Blue Moon Stone pack, and I will not let anyone or anything destroy what I have worked so hard for. So, if my mate, whom everyone is all hyped about, is going to help somehow, then I will accept her for the sake of the pack and not allow anyone to screw things up! That 'anyone' is her current boyfriend! My parents had rebuilt the pack after the death of my fated mate's parents. My father had taken over as the pack's Alpha and I, his Heir, took over when he lost his life in battle a few years ago. The pack meant the world to my father, and I vowed to him to do my very best to always protect it. The sooner my fated mate gets here, the better! The Moon Goddess will hopefully reveal more details of the upcoming battles, then we can start preparing.

"Roman, is it true? Has our fated mate been found?" Well, what do you know! My stubborn wolf has finally awoken from his deep slumber! "Titan, nice of you to finally join the party. Did you enjoy your nap, old boy?" Let's just say that my wolf did not approve of Celeste and my other playthings, and he always chose to surrender to deep sleep instead. "Old Boy? Take that back, Roman, or else! And it's not just that I do not approve! They disgust me! Unlike you, I prefer quality, and I am sure that would be our fated mate! I can't wait to meet her! I'm so excited and wish she would arrive already. " Just great! And here we have yet another fan, folks! "Titan, she has no idea that we exist, and there is no guarantee that she will accept us once she learns the truth. She was brought up in the ways of a human, and our way of life is not exactly one people like her would be eager to have. Please don't get your hopes up. You would just end up disappointed." As I paced around my room deep in conversation with my wolf through mind link, I noticed my Beta had made himself comfortable on my couch after helping himself to a drink. He sat there enjoying his Cognac and had a huge grin plastered on his face as he stared at me! Michael and I were best friends since our childhood. We probably have a bond stronger than brothers. It was only fitting that he became my first Beta. There was no one I trusted more with my life. But, he was also the one person who got on my nerves the most! "What's tickling your paws, Michael? Want to share what's so funny?" He then started to tease me about how serious I looked and that he was apparently trying to figure out the dirty secrets I was sharing with my wolf about my fated mate. "You know that had you unblocked me and allowed me to mind link with you again, I would not have had to walk into that traumatizing sex show off you had earlier?" I blocked him off because he felt the need to mind link with me every few minutes of his journey while trying to find my fated mate, and most of the time was just to give me the heads up on how bored he was!
