Her best friend had never yelled at her before, no matter how upset she was. Aurora was known to be calm, but this was unexpected.
Bianca and Aurora had met in college, and you could say Bianca had been the best friend anyone could ask for.
"He...is...a mafia boss," Bianca replied, and Aurora gasped in surprise.
She should have known by the way he behaved.
"What the hell, Bianca? You hooked me up with a mafia boss?" Aurora yelled angrily.
"Alessandro is a regular at the strip club, and he's very rich. I was just trying to help you-you got the money for your brother's surgery... Besides, why are you so bothered about it now?" Bianca yelled back.
"He came to my workplace! That guy made me lose my job!" Aurora yelled, and Bianca gasped.
"What? Why would Alessandro do that?"
"I don't know, but he keeps saying I'm his. You know this guy, so tell him to stay the hell out of my life!" Aurora shouted before storming upstairs.

She sighed and lay slowly on the bed.
"What have I gotten myself into?" she muttered.
Her phone rang, interrupting her thoughts, and she stared at it.
She sighed and picked it up.
📱 "What the hell, babe? You got me worried," he said in a concerned tone.
📱 "I...was very busy," she stammered.
📱 "Oh, I know. It's about your brother. I wish I had the money-I would have given it to you," he said.
Tears slowly rolled down her cheeks.
If only he knew what she had done, he would probably hate her.
📱 "Come downstairs, babe. I'm outside," he said, and she gasped in surprise.
She opened the window hurriedly and saw him leaning on his car, waving at her.
---
"Babe!" Francisco called as she rushed downstairs, and they hugged each other tightly.
"I missed you so much," she said, kissing his lips softly. They both smiled at each other.
"I missed you more, babe," he replied, kissing her cheek gently.
---
He growled angrily and punched the car window as he stared at them.
He was feeling so damn angry, and all he wanted to do was kill the man who dared to touch his possession.
He clenched his fist tightly, his gaze never leaving them.
God knows he was trying really hard not to kill him right now.
This feeling was new to him-he felt so possessive of a girl he had just met.
He yearned for her touch and just wished he could hold her right now.
"Should we end him, boss?" Gabe, who was beside him, asked, noticing his boss's rage.
Slowly, a smirk crept onto Alessandro's lips.
"Not yet. I'm going to use the bastard to my advantage," he said with an evil grin.
Whatever he was planning wasn't good.

Aurora sat down, combing her hair. Francisco had left not too long ago.
Her phone rang, and she picked it up without checking the caller ID.
"Hello, Aurora," a husky voice said.
She frowned and glanced at the screen. It was an unknown number.
"Who is this?" she asked.
"Ouch. I'm hurt, amore. You've forgotten my voice?"
In that moment, Aurora realized it was him. Her heart pounded violently in fear.
She was nervous and scared all at once.
"How did you get my number?" she asked, her voice trembling.
"Let's skip that part, amore. Are you getting ready?" he asked, and she scoffed.
"I'm not going anywhere," she shouted.
"Oh, sweetheart, I love when you yell, but I'd prefer you did it in my bed," he said huskily, and Aurora frowned.
"Well, well, well... Your lovely Francisco will be the perfect target to kill, don't you think?"
Her eyes widened in shock.
"What the hell? Don't hurt him! He has nothing to do with this!" she yelled, panicking.
"He has everything to do with this. He's driving a red Toyota Tacoma, which will be destroyed soon if you don't obey me. I'll give you 20 minutes to get dressed, and my guard will pick you up. Don't act foolish, amore," he said before hanging up.
She collapsed to the floor, tears streaming down her face.
"What have I gotten myself into?" she muttered.
She quickly grabbed a plastic bag and pulled out a dress.
She frowned at the sight of it-it was a short, strapless gown.
There was no way she was wearing that.
She flung the dress aside and rushed to her wardrobe.
