Chapter 4 Planning to leave the country

Daniel was not given the chance to answer that. She quickly hung up the moment she finished saying what was on her mind.

She did not want any response after all, she just wanted to make sure that her message was heard loud and clear.

She was not going to sit and watch this boy disrespect her in this manner. Does he even know that this very same woman he brings into the house. Is the same woman that once hit her.

She will never forget the day this woman hit her like she was hitting a child. She did not even mind that she was hitting an old woman.

Can a woman that grew up in a well mannered household do such a thing. Only a woman that grew up on the streets can do what she has done.

Daniel was very shocked to hear this from the old woman. Never has he ever heard her this angry.

He wondered what has happened that has made her this angry. Then he remembered that she said something about Lisa coming over for dinner.

Wait, could this mean that Faith has signed the divorce papers that he had asked him to prepare.

My gosh, could the boss be thinking of making it official with Lisa. Oh no! Then their lives will be miserable.

That woman has never respected any of them. Infact she takes them as her maids. Every time she comes to this office and the boss is not here. She demands that he makes her tea, coffee, water and anything that will make him leave his job and serve her.

Now that she will be the official woman, she will make things worse for everyone. The boss may not be aware but once heales her the official woman. Then he will lose lots of employees.

None of these employees are happy with her being around and when they know that she will always be here then it is a real problem.

She decided that she will research about Lisa then deliver the information to Elic anonymously.

**** Mr Lee's house

Faith woke up and felt pain on her private part then she remembered what had happened to her.

She decided that she will not cry over this. She was after all the one that offered to have sex with him.

She stood up and went to get a shower then when she went to the kitchen. The old man had already prepared food for her.

He said, "I was wondering when you will wake up. Infact I was already thinking of waking you up."

Faith said, "I don't know whether to say good morning or what grandpa. I am even afraid of looking at the watch right now."

Her grandfather said, "it's not a problem sweetheart, it is not like we have jobs to go to."

Faith said, "grandpa, may I ask you a question?"

Mr Lee said, "go ahead my darling."

Faith said, "would it be possible for us to leave this country tonight. I think we should go live closer to grandma and mom's graves."

Mr Lee was very happy insidejof himself but he did not want to show this to her.

He simply said, "are you sure of what you are saying. I do not want to find myself coming back here when we get to the airport."

She smiled and said, "I am hundred percent sure sir. I know this might be short notice but I have cash for us to rent out a private jet if we have to. As long as we get out of this place, I will be fine. I know that my grandfather has lots of connections. I know that you can make it possible for us to leave. Please do this for your only precious grand child."

Mr Lee said, "ha ha ha, is this how you beg people. My grand daughter I have to teach you how to make people do what you ask them to do. This will not work on anyone else. Anyway, I will make some means and get back to you. Right now, I suggest you feel your stomach with food. If you want us to go back to my home country then it will be a long journey for us."

She smiled and said, "I will only eat if you promise that we will be out ofbtios country by the end of this day."

She acted like a child and her grandfather's heart melted then he said, "I promise you sweetheart ."

She sat down and started eating. Her grandfather acted as if he was calling few people while he watched her eat.

If there is one good decision he made last night, was buying those plane tickets. He had thought that he will probably regret it but now he can see that he made a good decision .

He came back to her and said, "when are you ready to leave my darling?"

She smiled and said, "if the plane is available now, then I see no problem with leaving now grandpa."

He smiled and said, "get ready, we are leaving in the next thirty minutes."

She was very happy and excited to hear this. The truth is, she does not want to see Elic playing all lovey dovey to someone else.

She prefers that she moves away from him so that she will not feel the pain of seeing someone else on his arms.

She has decided that it was better for her to go leave country X and go to country Z for her own sanity.

This is a man she has always loved and marrying him was one of the most happiest moments of her life.

Even though she did not see him at all in those three years. She knew that it will not be forever. One day when he was done playing around, she was sure that he will come back to her.

Because of that, she was willing to wait for him. She was not expecting that he will one day come and force her to sign divorce papers.

She did not want to dwell too much on this. So she decided to look on the bright side of things.

This was an opportunity for her to explore the jewellery design industry. It was an opportunity for her to showcase her talent.

Her mother was designing a necklace before she died. She did manage to finish that design and she wanted to finish it for her.

She would love for that necklace to be made but she knows that in this industry. If you are not known then it's very easy for them to steal your masterpiece.

It was better for her to first make a name fo herself then she will give someone to make the necklace for her.

This was a way of honouring her mother. She smiled when she thought of this. She knows that it will also make her grandfather very happy.

She then decided that when she gets to country Z. She will do her best in applying for a job. She can not just sit around and do nothing.

She needs to get up and work so that she can have the experience of working in at least one industry before she can think of working for herself.

She has always wanted to own a company of her own but she knew that the possibility of that when she was married to Elic was up to zero.

Now that he was not in her life, maybe just maybe it was her chance to spread her wings.

She stood up and said, "well, there is nothing for me to prepare because everything I have is in that luggage. We just need to ask aunt Helen to take care of the house when we are gone."

Her grandfather said, "oh yes, yes, you are right. I have forgotten about this. Let me call her and ask her now before I forget. I am not like you, I need to go to my room and pack my things."

Faith then remembered that she has made her grandfather make such a rush decision. She felt guilty and said, "let me call aunt Helen while you go pack your things."

He smiled and brushed her hair then said, "you are such a sensible child."

He got up and went to his room. To tell the truth, he has packed everything he thought he will need when he woke up.

He just did not want to be seen as someone that was already prepared for this journey. He locked his room then sat on the bed.

He has to take at least twenty minutes in here acting as if he is packing so that she does not suspect anything.

Faith got up and washed the utensils in the sink. Her grandfather wouldn't want to leave this house in a mess.

She also wouldn't want for them to miss this flight. She knows that the moment Lisa moves into that house.

The media will be on toes and would search for her high and low. They will want to interview her about this.

She was not ready to face the media at least not now. Maybe when she has completely healed, she will be able to answer any questions that they ask her.
