Scarlett's POV:

"Oh my god!" i said laughing at Jason's reaction when he offered for a blond girl to go out with him but she shocked him saying "No".

"well i guess Mr. Player started losing his Powers" i said after catching my breath.

"Well, just so you know? i wasn't using my powers yet, besides i forgot to wear my lucky charm today "Jason said with a grin.

"You have a lucky charm?" Eric raised an eyebrow at Jason.

"Who doesn't?" Jason asked.

"You believe in this shit?" Eric said grinning.

"These things does exist!! and for your information's? I'm lucky whenever i wear that sock, that's why i never wash it" Jason winked at Eric.

"Ewwwww " we all said "so the damn stinky sock is the source of all that smell i was asking you about?!" Eric was now walking towards Jason putting his right hand on Jason's shoulder and patted on it "dude you seriously need a f***** help" Anna and i started giggling while Eric couldn't chuckled.

"I can't believe that you actually never washed your sock, it's just disgusting" Anna said with a disgusting look.

We were in our way to the cafeteria, I'm so hungry, i know I'm hungry the whole time, but this is different, well that's because i haven't eat breakfast, Suddenly someone dropped his tray on the cafeteria floor. After he bumped me.

he was brown curly haired boy with brown eyes.

"I'm sorry it wasn't your fault ,it's completely mine"

He said with a British accent.

This is just wow, good job Scarlett!!you should focus more when you're walking!!

"I'm.. sorry I'm stupid, i didn't see you it's just that...uh let me help you.." I started helping him with handling food that was now covering the floor.

"It's not a big deal Scarlett" he said i was a bit surprised that he knows my name.

"How come you know me but i don't know you?" I asked him." actually , i know you, you won the winter competition good audition by the way". he finished his words with a breathtaking smile.

"Thanks I'm glad you liked it, so what's your name?" I asked smiling back. "I'm Joshua ,and I'm from London." he said "you're a new student?" I asked "No, it's just that I'm not really good at social life, i actually found it so hard to mix up, that's why you probably don't know me, in fact we go to the same classes "he finished.

"Wow!! Really, i never noticed, but it's nice to meet you Joshua "i said smiling he smiled back.

"You can come sit with us at lunch if you want to" .i offered him to come sit with us.so now he's sitting with us on the table.

We sat on the table and then Jason and Eric joined us later.

"So ,you're telling me that you like drawing more than playing football?"

Eric was acting like a detective, that's because he was asking him all these questions "the thing is, i don't like football" Joshua said making it seems like no big deal.

okay if you want to survive in this high school you don't want to do any of the following things:

1: never mess with cheerleaders.

2:never mess with football players.

3:never mess with football players by telling them you don't like Football!!.

Eric and Jason were football players and you may guess who's messing with them.

I need to do something cause i have a strong feeling that these two volcanoes are about to explode and burn Joshua's pretty face.

But before i did anything Anna was the first to talk.

"guys? i think he's coming to our table" I frowned not having idea who she was talking about.

"Who?" I asked and turned to see who's she's talking about.

Only to see Anthony AKA 'the jerk'

"Scarlett! no, I'm talking about...you know" she finished saying while she looked at me.

Maybe he's coming to talk to me after our fight last night..

When i looked at him he turned his head to my left side where Joshua was sitting.

He stopped where Joshua was sitting.

"Joshua" he was staring at him with an angry eyes.

"Yes?" Joshua answered him with a nervous but angry eyes.

Do they know each other?

The rest of us were just keep watching the Show.

"Can i talk to you for a sec?" Anthony asked him but it was an order more than a question.

"Yes, you can talk" Anthony closed his eyes for a second it seems like he did it to swallow his anger, cause he seems calm right now.

"We won't talk.." he looked at me when he said "here" am i wrong or he's doing this to hurt me.

But i didn't see this coming i mean Joshua and Anthony?

Normal in the bizzaro world, well because Joshua is the opposite of Anthony

Even though Anthony was so sweet when he was five.

But this Anthony isn't the same ,you see cause we're talking about the devil here.

"Okay, well i guess then i will see you later" Joshua said standing nervously.

They started walking away from our table "wow!! i didn't see that coming" Anna said "yeah maybe they're friends or something" Eric said.

"How things going with the weirdo?" Jason asked, i wasn't sharing things with them lately, cause i was busy enough getting a detention and fighting with that jerk. "i don't know, he's blaming me for something i didn't do, i don't remember that I've ever tried to hurt him in any way...we keep fighting...like the whole time" i finished holding my head with both of my hands...i was tired of this.

"Wow! i mean what are you gonna do about it?" Anna said "i don't know should i do something?"

"No you're totally not gonna do anything !!you just have to move on, like he did. i mean don't you see he's acting like a jerk to you so why would you bother yourself to fix things" Eric said, i like the way Eric is so protective over us. he's ready to listen and give us advices...always.

"I don't know, maybe you should ask your mom or him, i mean maybe something happened and you don't remember, i think it's not fair to just give up already" Anna exclaimed...i think she's right, how didn't i think of this already?

I'm not the type of people who hide and run away from their issues.

I prefer to face them.

"yeah and remember no matter what we're here for you to support you and help you Scar "Eric said smiling at me.

Awwe!! isn't that sweet?

"Thanks you guys.by the way, haven't you notice that Joshua didn't come back yet?" I said checking the cafeteria.

"I guess he won't come back" Jason said "can i have the rest of his food?" Jason added looking at Joshua's food.

"Don't even think about it" Anna said laughing at him.

"bad boy Jason ,bad boy" i added "yeah sock's boy you're acting rude" Eric mentioned the lucky charm so Jason would remember it and that was all that he talked about for the rest of the launch.

Anthony's POV:

"What the hell was that??"I asked him furiously. Joshua frowned pretending he doesn't know what I'm talking about.

"What do you mean?" He asked knowing this guy for ages i can feel he has no clue.

"What you think you're doing sitting with them, or more specifically her?" I asked him. he was still confused.

"So you're telling me that this was only a coincidence? You're not up to something?" I asked not sure if he has bad intentions anymore. "if you dare tell a soul..." I threatened, I don't want anyone to know what happened in London two years ago.

"Anthony...what happened in London stays in London, I only moved here to forget about it all and open a new chapter in my life...but then I was surprised to see that you moved back, and what about Megan?" He asked making me feel anger all over again.

"Don't dare ask about her, don't you even dare say her name!" I exclaimed don't want him to even think of her.

"Why does it bother you that I was sitting with that girl anyway? oh now I get it...it's her isn'tit? She's the one you've been talking about since forever" He said smirking, as if it was the best discover.

"Screw you!!" I said leaving him there, I can't believe he was my best friend once...

I wanted to make sure no one would ever know..about everything that has happened...

I knew that coming back here wasn't a good idea...but it was the only way to run from my father and his wife... and everything!

He doesn't care about what I want, he only cares about his company, and he thinks I'm the perfect one to continue the business after he retired... which I don't want to, because I don't want to...how simple is that? I decided I should move back here, stay away from the crap and especially the incident that happened two years ago...I think it would be fair for Megan too if I stayed away. Even though I care about her, but I'm only good at hurting people.

Maybe in the end it's for the best.

I heard my phone buzzed, a message was shown on my phone screen.

'i don't blame you for something I choose to do, it's not you it's me, if you don't comeback you won't like consequences '
