Chapter 4 Arrogant human

Kira's health began to get much better as the days slowly passed by but she was absolutely worried because she still couldn't feel her wolf. She even tried to shift but she couldn't. She didn't know who to talk to. She was thinking.

Looking at herself in the mirror, Kira looked so much thinner and her skin was dull, eyebags around her eyes. Her hair was looking shorter but it was because she hadn't combed, brushed or washed.

"I can't be this weak, I am happy I was able to overcome death even when I felt my soul was leaving my body. I have to get myself back. I can't stay in this house forever. I won't be a coward to just leave my pack and my throne. I must avenge what's mine and take it by force. I will defeat you, Gabriel and Larissa" Kira felt so angry as she balled her hands into a fist.

Little by little, Kira regained herself, Megara ordered a blood tonic soup to be given to her every single day and meals that would make her add weight.

Kira was once again treated as a princess. She would just smile and thank everyone but inside her was shattered.

"You will be assigned to a maid. We had her two weeks ago. That is the day you came and she has proven herself. Anything you need, just call on Faye" Megara said as she introduced the new maid who came in with her head down.

Kira looked at her with a sense of familiarity. "Look at me" Kira said then the maid slowly looked at Kira's deep eyes and smiled lightly.

Those light brown eyes made Kira shocked. It's was her best friend and personal maid. Della. "How did she know I am here?" Kira thought then she remembered what she heard last before she blacked out.

The last person to see her was Della. "You have picked the right person to take care of me lady Megara. I have this feeling that definitely she is the one, right for me" Kira said as she smiled.

This was the first time Megara saw Kira smiling. She was very happy as she saw that smile on Kira's face.

"Everything will be fine dear, besides we are going for an event in a week time and you would be my plus one. I want you to get yourself prepared. Eat well, glow up and look good, if you need anything, let me know" Megara said.

"Yes lady Megara" Kira said. Then Megara held Kira's palm, looked at her one more time before leaving the room.

"Della (Kira said as she cried and hugged her friend tightly) Della, why did this happen to me? I should have been crowned alpha of the pack with my parents by my side but they were murdered. I can't even feel my wolf anymore. What if she's dead? What am I going to do? How will I take my position and avenge my parents? What should I do, Della"

"Calm down lady Kira, I understand what happened two weeks ago is horrible, it's my fault too because I didn't know the food had wolfsbane in it. I was scared to stay that was why I ran away. I sensed you the day the cars brought you in. I was able to see through the tinted windows. I decided to work here and serve you again" Della said.

"But do you know who brought me to the human world?" Kira said curiously as she looked at Della.

Della was quiet for sometime, "No, I don't know but I will try my best to find out, I promise to help you and I pledge my loyalty to you" Della said.

"Why did you change your name though?" Kira asked.

"I just felt like because I know Master Gabriel is out for both of us. He knows how close we are and he will try his best to make sure you are dead and torture me" Della said feeling scared.

"Don't be scared, none of it will happen, I will try my best to gain power in the human world and revive my wolf, I know she is not dead because you were able to sense that I was near"

"Yes but your wolf is very weak, I can feel it, it will take a lot of time before you can come back fully to yourself and I believe in you" Della said.

It was an emotional time for them. "I want to go out today, I have been indoors for way too long. I need to get some fresh air" Kira said smiling widely.

"I know what you need, Spa, mani-pedi, why don't we go today? There is still a lot of time" Della suggested.

"Yes, I do need that and maybe a massage, why don't you tell Lady Megara? I will take my time and prepare, you should also prepare. If anyone asks for you to do anything, tell them I have sent you, okay? I want you and I only" Kira said then Della chuckled. Hugged Kira and left.

Kira slowly walked with the help of Della and Ethan opened the car door for them. They got in and drove away.

Kira and Della kept on giving each other eye signals as a way to express their feelings. They couldn't let anyone get suspicious of their connection.

Getting there, Kira came out on her own. She wore a black face mask to prevent any trouble in case her brother has sent someone to spy on her.

She slowly ascending the stairs, she was told by Ethan where her massage and spa would take place. He led her there.

She was about to enter the elevator. "I want Faye to get a massage and spa too. Please look into that" Kira said she told Della that she couldn't get her to the VIP to avoid being suspicious.

Ethan was shocked for a while but did exactly as he was told. Kira got in the elevator and winked at Della. She couldn't remember the floor so she just tapped the top floor button.

She got in and she resumed her thinking. She was also cautious of her surrounding too. She was still thinking of her brother and everything that happened that night.

The elevator door dinged and opened. The place was huge and spacious. There were two doors. She didn't know the exact one because she was giving eye signals to Della so wasn't paying attention to what Ethan was saying, she only heard top floor. She also didn't have any means of communication on her.

"Screw me" She did a little game to decide then she got her choice.

Opening the door, she got in and she knew she was in the right place. The spa chair, a manicure and pedicure set of instrument, the calming sounds and a glass wall where she could see the view of the city.

She heard a door opening. Turning, she saw a handsome, young man. He has wet dark brown hair slightly covering his bluish eyes. He only had a towel on from his waist down.

She quickly turned away, "Are you here for the process? Don't irritate me and let's begin" His deep voice was also as hot as him.

"What? I am also here for a spa( She finally got the courage to look at him)" She said.

"Then get out, you are not meant to be here, know your place and avoid mis..." He stopped talking as he held his shoulder and hissed.

She frowned, them he sat and backed her. "Get out" He said again.

"You could have spoke in a nicer way, this isn't your spa company or something" She said feeling so annoyed. She almost opened the door and he hissed so much in pain.

She turned and felt sorry for him despite his attitude, when he removed his hands, she could see that it was dark. Like he had a fight or something.

She walked over to him, "Let me help you relieve your pains before they get here, I can see you are literally suffering" She said as she grabbed an ointment.

She always did this to her parents when they were still agile coming from war.

"Didn't you hear what I said or have you suddenly gone deaf? I told you three minutes ago to get out, don't be a...." He hissed as he was in serious pain.

"I can help you ( She said as she walked over and placed her hand on his shoulder) please sir, I did this alot before. I will get a job here soon" She said as she started massaging his shoulder.

She could feel him calming down but she was actually a bit terrified at the man. He looks like the type who isn't meant to be dealt with. She did what she was doing, the. she remembered her mom and dad and how she usually hums a song while doing it.

She controlled the tears and began humming the tune. She then realized she wasn't touching her mom or dad then she stopped.

"I... I am sorry for not listening to you, I will leave now" She said and started backing away.

"If you know you couldn't continue why start, do you think I don't know plans of women like you? Why cover your face? You know what? Just get out, you are irritating me" He said almost shouting as he looked at her eyes.

"Get the hell out" He shouted then she hurriedly left.
