Chapter 3 Uninvited Intrusion

STILES'S POV

"What?" That was the last word that spat out of my mouth the moment I placed the phone on my ear. I already knew who was calling and exactly why he was calling.

"Alpha, there was no success in it" He almost whispered probably scared of how I was going to react to his words.

"Derek we have been moving in circles on this topic for the longest time, I do not appreciate the fact that you still have to go ahead and fail me all the damn time. You need a break?"I questioned at the end of my statement, my voice a mere whisper too.

"No....no Alpha, I will look into it this time with all my might, I will make sure everything is walked out perfectly. I don't need a break, I will put in my best this time" He began to blab, already knowing the fate of anyone who goes on a break.

"All this while, you have not been putting in your best until I threatened you?" I arched my brows as if he was in front of me. I wished he was, we could have handled this even more perfectly.

"No, I try my utmost best all the time. This is quite challenging work and I will just need some time to iron it out. Don't put too much stress on yourself, I will figure it out smoothly" He assured.

As expected of you. You have to do whatever it takes to make sure you get the child. This will be the last time I will be lenient with you, I am not taking these excuses next time again." I mumbled

"And what about the search?" I asked and he gulped. I could hear it from the other side of the phone and I knew this was useless. He doesn't have an lead yet.

"Actually, Alpha..." He began and I almost roared at him,

"Did you find any omega from another pack?"

"Yes, there are many that can be used and I found some in the Dark Red Pack"

A chuckle escaped my lips because out of all the packs in the world we are to set out for Jackson's pack. My rival... I massaged my temple, my mind thinking through what he just said.

"Johnson's space?" I questioned to make sure we were on the same path.

"Unfortunately." he replied. It may be unfortunate for him but not for me. I get what I want and I don't care whose pack I will get it from.

"I want to be done with the current project and then I will handle that too" He declared.

"You don't have to. Just focus on what you are doing at the moment. I will handle that on my own" I replied standing up from my seat.

"Alpha Stiles, I am not sure that is a good idea. You are well known all around, and you going there would be a lot of risk. I will just send some men on a low key to look through...."

"Just do your fucking Job Derek and let me handle this" I didn't wait to hear what he had to say afterward, I hung up on the phone and toasted it on the table in front of me.

I called for one of the guards by the door and he quickly walked into my study.

"Get Samantha and tell the guards to arrange the cars, we are making a move" I instructed without raising my head to even look at who it was. I began to gather the documents on the desk and also make some calls. I'll try to come back as soon as possible.

Moments later, Samantha walked in.

"I have some business to attend to in Dark Red Pack, make sure the house is in order until I return. If my mom comes, tell her she could call me and I'll respond" I instructed

"Alpha---" She too was about to object to my intention of going into that pack. Everyone knows my history with the Dark Red pack along with my unfinished business with Jackson. There are some war that never ends and that was the one that Jackson and I had.

"Do not stop me, I am going there for business. I'll try to keep my gun far away from my reach. Now, do as I say, Understood?" I asked and she nodded with a straight face.

"Good"

The servant walked in just in time and informed me that my men were ready. I left her standing there, her head still hanging low, and walked out of the study.

I didn't even steer deep into the Dark Red pack before I had to face the bastard. Information has it that he was out and wouldn't return back anytime soon which was why I entered into the pack but I guess there was some sort of miscommunication somewhere.

No one waited for the other to act first, with our men both on edge, the firework started, bullets were wasted and men were laid on the road. I sat in my car knowing the bastard was definitely going to show up.

He did. A smile graced my face as I stepped down from the car, all fire ceased.

"Where you got the confidence to walk into my Pack, not even alone but with your minions is astonishing. But I will have to warn you just this once, never do you ever think of doing that again. You cannot show up uninvited into someone's pack, especially not mine. I am not in the mood for bigger troubles, be grateful"

I had no plans of talking back to him at first but the way he presented his words irked me to the point of bursting out so I spoke up. Let's see how hot the fire in him was.

"And if I don't?" I inquired, my lazy glare focused on him.

"I am not going to bother using my mouth to explain that part. If you don't, you will see it yourself" He retaliated.

"Well then" I shrugged, "I promise to return here, uninvited" I smiled making sure to piss him off or make him angrier than before.

"I give you one day. Just one, get the fuck out of my territory" he yelled before walking away. I continued to look at him even though I was hearing screams of help. Jackson would never change, he would use his power to get anything and anyone he wants.

As the car passed us, I saw the look of the desperate lady as she screamed and cried for help.
