Chapter 2 *Third Person Pov*

A woman's screams were heard in a room, "Ahhh!!!"

A disheveled-looking man came rushing in with some midwives. It turned out that the pregnant woman had fallen into an unexpected emergency labor due to an intake of a dangerous poison, so her husband rushed out like a mad beast at a late hour to get the midwives.

" Sweetie, it's going to be alright" he cooed at her as he patted her hair lightly.

" Kayden, I'm dying!" The woman screamed as her eyeballs rolled into her head.

" No you won't, sweetie, midwives do something!!" The man roared furiously as the midwives trembled with fear.

" It's alright Luna, all you need to do now is to take a deep breath, stop screaming and start pushing" the head midwife said as she put on some medicated gloves and proceeded with helping the woman give birth.

" Push!" The midwife ordered as the woman pushed with all her strength.

The windows clashed against the frames, a thunderstorm could be heard raging like a beast that had been let loose, it began raining heavily. The heavy downpour of the rain could be heard, accompanied by the screams and grunts of the woman in labor.

" It's alright dear, you can do it" her husband encouraged her, holding her hands tightly. His face wrinkled with fear as a tear fell down his cheeks.

The woman stared at him, she didn't know if she was going to cry or laugh. Her husband, who had never let a single tear escape his eyes even when he was badly injured, was actually crying because she was giving birth!

" Keep it up Luna, one more push, and we're done," the midwife said with a smile.

She let out a loud scream, pushing so hard with her strength.

A baby's cry could be heard, "congratulations Alpha and Luna, it's a girl," the midwife said as she brought up the newborn child for all to see.

She wrapped the baby up and then handed the baby to her mother.

With tears in her eyes, the woman kissed the forehead of her little angel that had just arrived not too long ago.

" I love you so much sweetie, mummy loves you, Olivia" she whispered.

She gave the midwife her baby to carry, "Kimberly" she whispered as the midwife took the baby from her hands. " Take care of my precious Olivia for me".

" I will" the midwife said, trying to keep her tears from falling.

" Promise me," she said.

" I promise," the midwife promised.

She looked up at her husband, who had a sad expression on his face. He knew she couldn't survive it, the poison was too strong for even the most powerful Lycan king.

" Don't be sad sweetie, I love you and I will forever be with you" she said with a bitter smile.

" I love you too" the man said, not able to hold tears anymore.

The both of them shared a passionate kiss filled with a strong emotion for the last time before the woman's breath seized, her eyelids slowly closing.

"Tell Olivia I love her" she muttered under her breath as death did its role.

"Laura!!!" Her husband screamed like a deranged beast as he hugged her tightly.

The atmosphere in the room became gloomy as tears and whimpers could be heard.

The Luna of the silver moon pack had just passed on.

Kayden, her husband and the Alpha of the pack sobbed like a child on her body. It was so painful losing a mate, and it was more painful watching her die in front of him.

Some midwives that were present tried consoling him, but it was all futile as he kept wailing painfully.

Suddenly, he got off her body, dried his tears, took his newly born baby from the midwife's grip and headed out of the room.

Olivia had just been reborn as a baby again. She was given a second chance by the moon goddess, this time, not to have a second chance mate, but to take revenge on the bastards that wronged her in her past life.
