Chapter 5 A romance twist

Once back in his room, Aiden shove Gladys who keep clinging off of him feeling irritably by it and it was not the only annoying thing all night.

Seeing Emily walk in almost unrecognizable with that aura of majestic and confidence kind of make him feel aroused even though he was yet to recognize her then.

The first thought that pop into his mind was to that 'finally, he has found someone who is truly worthy and well sophisticated to become his true Luna.

Aiden could not believe his eyes when he realize that it was Emily, his mate whom he had rejected two months ago looking so elegant and breathe-taking

There was a reason he has taken interest in her ever since he saved her a year ago, it was his stupid mistake not to see the nobility in her.

"What's wrong?" Gladys asked her voice a bit hard.

Gladys has caught him staring at Emily throughout the party, barely unable to take his gazes off of her and she had to portray herself as some obsessive girlfriend for her own pride.

"Go to bed, we'll see tomorrow" he said dismissively and pull his t-shirt feeling a little suffocated by the heat of his heart.

"This is not because of her right?" Gladys crossed her arms against her chest looking quite ferocious.

"I don't think that has anything to do with you" Aiden reply without concern and walk off to the bathroom leaving her standing there fuming.

The next morning, Emily get up feeling a little bit and leg sore from the six inches heels she has made herself wore for last night.

Changing to a comfortable pants and long sleeves top and a nice boots, she walk down the stairs to see Aiden waiting for her.

"Did you sleep well?" he asked in what sounds to Emily as his charming voice and she nod managing not to smile at him.

She walk past him to the breakfast already prepared and meet Gladys already seated. Emily's countenance become sour quickly as she takes her seat.

"Would you like a cup of coffee?" Aiden offer and Emily glance at Gladys angry face before nodding softly.

After breakfast, Emily is lead to the grand space where her private training was going to take place. However, Gladys had tagged along much to her annoyance and keep putting her lips on Aiden's face showing off pathetically.

Even though Emily knew she was just trying to annoy her and make her feel jealous, she could not help feeling these emotions and grab a bow and arrow for a shot.

As she try stabling her arms and straining out in her distorted emotions, she feel a firm yet gentle hands grasp her elbows and a warm body hugs her from behind.

Emily turn her head to see Andre whose green eyes seem to look more dazzling at the moment staring into her eyes before they look ahead.

"You need to feel the air around you" he probably said in a clear voice but to Emily it sounded like a whisper that sends her body into an electrifying state.

She stop staring at him and try to focus as he straightens her hands posture and her feet, for seconds she could feel the gentle warmness of his breathe on her neck and then a shoot right pass Aiden and Gladys who were standing at the spot he had targeted.

Emily could not stop her smile seeing Gladys almost getting shot by the arrow and it kind of patch up ruined mood.

"Brother" Aiden called moving closer to them getting Gladys off himself now.

"I thought we agreed you will let me have this one brother" Andre said in a teasing voice that seem to make Aiden clenched his fists.

"She is not a piece to have brother" he said faking a calm face.

"I meant about training her Heiress" Andre respond holding a more visible grinning face now.

Aiden knew he has fallen for his brother stupid provocation again and decided to really stay calm, hoping he does not lose it whilst watching the two train.

He has spend all night wondering why Andre would want to suddenly be out of his closet after such a long time and suddenly become interested in Emily.

The thought of his own brother plotting to overthrown him by seizing a powerful alliance with the Heiress of Nightshade crossed his mind but he dismissed it quickly not wanting to be too paranoid.

"I think it is appropriate that I teach her, it's the reason why Alpha Wilson sent her here" Aiden said.

"Why don't we let her choose then?" Andre resorted and turn to Emily.

Emily stare at the two brothers, she has unresolved feelings for one and the other one seem to be charming and totally giving her some inexplicable heart race.

But seeing how upset Aiden seemed to be with Andre's presence, Emily thought of an easy way to get him to regret his cruel rejection of her and look eagerly at Andre.

"I believe Andre owes me a date" she said and took his hand as he stretch it out to her.

Together, they walk out leaving Aiden who has his fists tightened hard than ever completely forgotten about Gladys is standing a distance away with eyes filled with jealousy and anger.

"Don't tell me you are really interested in her Brother" Aiden said to Andre with a light chuckle.

"What if I am?" Andre return and takes the glass of liquor he offered.

Aiden's expression darkened, his jealousy evident.and before he could stop himself, he bluntly said with a tight chuckle

"Brother, don't be fooled by her charms. She's still the same weak..."

Andre raised a hand, silencing his brother. "I think I can make my own decisions, Brother"Andre cut him off.

"And if you didn't have a woman now, I would have thought you are jealous"

He winked and gave Aiden a light pat on the shoulder before dropping the glass and walking away.

Aiden sighs frustratingly and pour his drink down before walking upstairs, rather than make to his room, he take a right turn and knock on Emily's door instead.

Just a little distance, Andre stood and watch the door open and Aiden entered closing the door behind him. Without waiting any second, he head over to the west wing to Gladys' room.

"What are you...?" Gladys was saying truly dismayed to see him.

Before she could finish her question, Andre grab her face and pull her into a really hard kiss, barely giving her time to protest or stop it as he force her back into the room not caring to close the door.
