Chapter 4 A fourth party

Emily turn away not sure she wants to be alone with him but his voice halt her steps and she inhale before turning again to him

"It fits you, you look beautiful" he said and walk closer.

"Thank you" Emily finds her voice and try not to get agitated as he moves round her, his eyes roaming about her body making her feel she was under an microscope.

She has not really seen him this up close, the one time she has had an accidental glimpse of him was the day she has missed her way in the house and find herself in the isolated part of the house.

Emily open her mouth to start a conversation, curious to see him out like this but Aiden's footsteps interrupted her and she noticed someone is by his side.

"I see you already met my brother" Aiden said his eyes dashed to Andre whose gaze stay fixed on Emily.

Gladys try to keep her utter shock of Emily being the important guest that she has worked her ass off to prepared a welcoming party for and clenched her hands on Aiden's shoulders as she greet her with a light bow.

"Your Heiress, Let me introduce myself" she said.

"I am Aiden's fiancee and the soon-to-be Luna of the clan, it would be an honor if you would grace the ceremony" she said and loosen her fists.

Seeing Emily in all glory, she could not help but feel threatened and frightened. After all the reason why Aiden had reject her was because she was deemed a poor and weak who would be a worthless Luna if chosen.

However now, she is a heiress. Not just anyone but of the Nightshade's pack, the most powerful pack in the century.

Emily's gaze clouded for a second but she quickly shake it off at the introduction, she cannot allow an inferiority like Gladys ruin her perfect night.

Besides, there was no telling who would in fact wear the crown of the Luna yet, and right now, no lady can hold a candle against her.

"You look quite average, I did not realize that's Alpha Aiden's taste" Emily return brutally with a sneaky smile and earn a chuckle from Andre.

Aiden drown his words and politely ask to get back to the party for a formal introduction and without refusal, the four of them head back inside.

Though everyone who could see now that it was their important guest was the Luna they had all rejected thinking she was nobody, they all bow their heads as their Alpha introduce her formally to the pack.

Their faces were filled with respect and Emily could not help but let her mind drift a little to the night of her abandonment by Aiden.

Those looks of disdain and downwards has now been replaced with utter respect and honour for her.

The party continues and Emily try to enjoy it but she could not stand Gladys being all over Aiden like a coiling snake, or so it seemed to her.

"Would you like to dance?"

Emily dash her head to Andre who is now standing in front of her with his palm stretch out to her.

She look around the room, there has been nobody dancing but then it wasn't a bad idea, after all it was her party, she shouldn't spend it wallowing.

"Why not" she breathed and took his hand.

Andre quickly twirl her around as he leads her into the middle of the room, the others quickly create some space for them.

"I may step on you, I am not much of a dancer" she quickly let him know but instead he snicker.

"Just let me lead then"

Emily let her body loosen as Andre lead quite a lovingly dance and she find herself forgetting about everything else for a second as she stares into his forest green eyes.

It is the few difference between him and his brother, perhaps It makes him look quite beautiful, a little more than she had thought Aiden is.

"Permission to grab your waist?" he said as his hands slid down and Emily try not to let it faze her.

When the dance ended with an unexpected applaud and Emily quickly disengage herself from Andre who has her hands wrapped around his neck and looked flushed.

If she had spent a second more there, she would have swing to him and forget all about Aiden.

"I would like to retire for the night"

"Permit me to lead the way" Aiden said with a smile and drop his drink.

After making sure the men with her also have a good place to rest for the night, she followed to the room that has been decorated for her.

It was her old room and it was decorated beautifully, except that the assumption that she was a man had purged some of the decoration to be to a man's taste including the new color paint of the room.

"Have a good rest, I will see you tomorrow Your Heiress" Aiden said and give her a little hug and a peck on the cheek.

"I look forward to tomorrow" Emily replied.

"Perhaps, I could come accompany you tomorrow. My brother might be too busy with his much affairs" Andre interrupted the moment and Aiden turn to him with a questioning gaze that quickly turn to a glare.

"What do you say? I take you on a proper tour of the city"

Emily steal a quick glance at Gladys standing close to Aiden and decide to play her cards well too

"I do enjoy the dance" Emily reply in a rather sexy voice and she could see Aiden's eyes flickered.

Andre made a playful bow to her before walking out of the room but he is quickly grasp by Aiden.

"What are you doing?" he asked curiously

Not only as he come out of his hiding place tonight but he has been shamelessly flirty with Emily. As far as he knows, the two have not met until today.

"I would like to be the Heiress Trainer"

Andre let out in his usual demeanour face expression that implies that he is being up to nothing good.

"I don't think I can let you take on that task brother" he said with a gentle but firm grab on his shoulders.

"Why? You don't think I am incapable of teaching her do you brother?" Andre asked still holding his countenance that seem to disturb Aiden.

"No"

"Or perhaps you still have lingering feelings for her, after all, she was your mate and you rejected her" Andre asked again not giving up.

Aiden took a deep sigh knowing well his brother is just trying to provoke him up and he would not fall for his stupid taunts.

"Fine, if you want so much brother, you could train her" he said and turn to walk away.

But Aiden's hands clenched in a fists immediately and he tried to swallow his uneasiness.
