Chapter 2 Bab 2

"Yes, ma'am. She is Helena, a top artist who is filming there," said Alex while pointing towards the shooting location.

Coincidentally, Zena ran in that direction. Grandma Leona also watched Zena who had passed. Not long after, Grandma smiled.

"She is a very kind and polite girl. I want her to be my granddaughter, she really suits Sam," muttered Grandma Leona while smiling.

Grandma got up from her seat, she was helped by Alex to walk to her car. As soon as he got into the car, he immediately asked Alex to go straight home.

"Aren't we going to the office?" Alex asked.

"No. I want to meet my grandson soon. I can't wait to meet Sam." Grandma smiled just at the thought of Sam marrying Zena.

However, it turns out that Grandma and Alex misunderstood Zena. Because Zena is actually just a poor girl who doesn't really understand the world of entertainment. Meanwhile, Grandma Leona and Alex thought that Zena was a top artist who was filming.

Wicitra Sam Surya, she is Grandma Liona's only grandchild. A cold man who has never been touched by media rumors about his closeness to a woman. Sam, always appears on the screen with the achievements he has built. Not with all the gossip that made him famous.

Oma Liona, was a British nobleman who later married a native and had a son named Wicitra Wirya. He is Sam's father, who is often called Wirya.

Not long after, Alex had parked his car in front of the Wicitra family palace. Grandma Liona immediately got out of the car and swung her feet towards the magnificent house which had been the residence of the Wicitra family when they came to their homeland.

"Mother? Why didn't you come and give news?" Virya asked.

Wirya, who was sitting in front of the TV at that time, immediately rushed to shake hands and kiss the back of his mother's palm, not forgetting to immediately hug and kiss her left and right cheeks alternately.

"Is it true that if you come, you have to get permission first?" asked Grandma Liona.

"Well, not really, but I can pick up Mama," said Wirya.

The two of them are now sitting in the living room. Even though Wirya is old, he is very spoiled by his mother.

"No need to pick me up. Mom has already been picked up by Alex," said Grandma.

"How does Alex know that mom is coming home?" Wirya asked in surprise.

"Yes, because Alex is Mama's confidant," said Grandma Liona with a smile.

"You guys are like that, aren't you? Do you want to play secret games with me?" Wirya asked in a sulky tone.

"No, Mama just came to see Sam's wedding. Mama has found the right partner for Sam," said Grandma Liona.

"Mama, are you serious? Is the two-door refrigerator getting married?" asked Wirya, very surprised.

"Yes, he is your son. Don't be like that. Refrigerator, it's also because of your wife's actions that he is cold to women." Grandma Liona stared sharply at Wirya.

Wirya could only remain silent when his mother disturbed his past.

"Who is the woman who can conquer Sam?" Virya asked.

"Artist, she is very beautiful, in fact she is very famous. Earlier she was probably disguised as a gembel so her appearance was very messy."

Grandma Liona also told what happened to her, Wirya was very grateful when she heard the story from her mother.

"Now where is Sam?" asked Grandma Liona.

"Where else if not at the office," said Wirya.

"Okay, I'll wait for the kid to come home. Actually, I was going to the office, but I don't know why I really want to go home." Grandma Liona smiled at her son.

"Mama, let's go for a walk together," said Wirya.

"You spoiled child," said Grandma Liona.

Grandma Liona is very close to Wirya. Since his son was still young, now both of them got up from their seats. Wirya took Grandma Liona and walked towards the back of the luxurious house. There they sat while looking at the rose garden which had started to bloom and smell good.

"You don't want to get married again?" asked Grandma Liona.

"No Ma, I'm just going to see my son's wedding. I no longer have the desire to get married," said Wirya.

"Why? Are you traumatized?" asked Grandma.

"It's not just trauma, I no longer believe in love. I just want to enjoy life with you," said Wirya.

"Your ex-wife, how are you?" asked Grandma.

"I don't know, Mom. You had the wrong address if you asked me that," said Wirya.

"Who knows, you still like to poke fun at your ex-wife's social media accounts," said Grandma.

"Mama, it's like I'm still a young person," said Wirya.

The two of them chatted at length, the two children and mother were very close.

"How are the companies in England? If Mama stays for a long time, is that okay?" Virya asked.

"It's no problem, John is there who will handle it all," said Grandma Liona.

John, is the son of Grandma Liona's marriage to her second husband. Wirya's father, Raharjo, died when Wirya was two months old. It wasn't until she married Thomas two years later that John was born from her second marriage.

"How are you Papa Thomas?" Virya asked.

"Okay, he's better. At first he wanted to go back to Indonesia, but I forbade him. Because he hasn't recovered properly," said Grandma.

"Yes, it's better to let papa get better first, if I have time, I'll visit papa," said Wirya.

"Yes, he really misses you more than Maam," protested Grandma Liona.

Wirya smiled. Wirya never had the chance to meet and get to know his biological father. For Wirya, Papa Thomas is his true father even though he is not his biological father.

"John is sometimes jealous. He often asks, whose son is Papa Thomas? But he never gets angry now that he knows everything. In fact, he feels very proud to have a Papa who loves his children," said Grandma Liona.

"No wonder Jhon is jealous," said Wirya, laughing.

They talked about many things again, from funny things that happened in the past to bitter things. Not long after, there was the roar of a car in front of the magnificent house.

"That's Sam coming home. Are you home at this time?" Virya asked.

Hearing that, Grandma Liona immediately rushed towards the terrace with impatient steps. Meanwhile Wirya followed from behind.

"I'm going to give Sam a surprise, he'll be very happy to see me come." Grandma spoke enthusiastically.

Not long after, Sam saw Grandma Liona walking towards him. Suddenly, he immediately ran and hugged Grandma Liona.

"Grandma, when are you coming? Why didn't you tell me? I can pick you up at the airport." Sam immediately hugged Grandma Liona.

"Grandma just came. Don't you like Grandma coming?" Asked Grandma Liona.

"It's been since this morning, how are you?" Sam asked.

Sam was happy to see his beloved Grandma's arrival, he immediately hugged and kissed the back of Grandma Liona's palm. Grandma's presence always gives Sam encouragement, makes him feel calm and comfortable.

"Sam, do you have a girlfriend?" Asked Grandma Liona.

Bab 4.

The two of them walked towards the living room, Sam's hand never leaving Grandma Liona's. Grandma had talked about something that made Sam a little awkward.

"Oma. Why are you discussing this again? Sam doesn't want to have a girlfriend. Sam doesn't want to be hurt." Sam refused.

Sam shows annoyance at Grandma. However, Grandma just smiled understandingly and asked Sam to sit beside her. Grandma knows what it's like to have a broken heart, but she also knows that love is full of mystery and cannot be avoided.

"Sam, turn on the TV," asked Grandma.

Sam deftly immediately turned on the television. The two of them sat together in the living room, enjoying their time together as if to get rid of the previous annoyance in Sam's heart.

Meanwhile, Wirya, not long after, followed and sat next to his mother, they were all finally able to enjoy being together in the midst of their respective activities.

"Sam, look at that woman. She's beautiful, she's kind too," said Grandma when she saw Helena advertising a beauty product.

"Hmm." That was Sam's only reaction when he saw the female model he hated the most.

"I hate her, but Grandma doesn't even know why. That woman, who has ruined friendship, even love can ruin everything," Sam thought angrily.

"How can Grandma want me to have a relationship with that woman?" Sam asked.

"Sam, she is a very sweet woman, Oma met her earlier. When Oma wanted to cross the road, Oma was about to be hit by a car, but luckily, the girl saved Oma," said Grandma Liona while looking at her beloved granddaughter.

"So, as a token of her gratitude, Grandma wants to set me up with that woman?" Sam asked.

"Not like that, Sam. Grandma just likes him," said Grandma Liona.

"Then, Grandma will just marry him," said Sam, trying to express his annoyance in a sarcastic tone.

Sam got up from his seat while grumbling in annoyance.

"Why does Grandma have to try to set me up with a woman I don't like the most? Does she not know or even care about my feelings?" Sam thought to himself.

Meanwhile, Omah was just wondering when he saw his grandson leave without saying goodbye.

"Sam, where are you going?" Asked Grandma Liona.

"Sam wants to meet Jerry." Sam shouted without looking at his Grandma.

He tries to hide his true emotions, so as not to disappoint the innocent Oma in this story.

Meanwhile, Grandma Liona was in the living room with Wirya.

"What do you think?" asked Grandma Liona curiously.

"In my opinion, it all depends on Sam's decision. But, Sam will definitely consider Mama's opinion too," answered Wirya with a smile.

"Does Sam want to be matched?" asked Grandma Liona again.

"I don't know, Grandma. Maybe you can try it first," suggested Wirya.

In another room, Sam sat in his study. He felt angry, then took the cellphone that was in his pocket. Immediately, Sam called Jerry as he had promised Grandma Liona. Not long after, the call was connected.

Currently Sam is talking to Jerry on the phone.

"Jer, is it true that Grandma wants to set me up with Helena?" Sam asked in a worried tone.

"Helena, the adult magazine model?" Jerry tried to confirm.

Jerry is not just an assistant, but is considered by Sam to be his confidant.

"Are you serious? Helena is famous for frequently changing boyfriends. Are you really sure that Grandma wants to match you?" Jerry asked in a skeptical tone, showing his worry about Grandma Liona's decision.

At the same time, Sam felt confused, he didn't expect Grandma Liona to match him with Helena, who had that reputation. Now, Sam is in a dilemma, he wants to find happiness but feels doubtful about Grandma Liona's decision.

"That's why. I'm not sure about Grandma either." Sam looked deep in thought.

"Then what are you going to do?" Jerry asked.

Sam felt like he was at the end of a dead end. If Grandma has decided on something, it's usually hard to refuse it. For a moment Sam was silent, trying to find a way out of this problem.

"How about you first follow what Grandma wants?" suggested Jerry.

"Then? Should I marry a woman like Helena?" Sam asked in a slightly low tone.

"At least, you can make him suffer even more. You just put forward conditions that will make him refuse," continued Jerry.

Sam started to think that maybe this was the best way to solve this problem.

"Okay, I'll do it," answered Sam firmly.

They both took a deep breath for a moment. The call was disconnected. Sam came back out of his study.

"Are you sure you want to set me up with Helena?" Sam asked as he came out of the study.

"Do you want it?" Grandma asked enthusiastically.

Sam's heart felt heavy, but he tried to hide it.

"As long as Grandma is happy, what else can I do?" he answered while smiling wryly.

"Okay, then, Grandma will immediately prepare everything from now on," said Grandma Liona very enthusiastically.

Wirya also looked confused when he saw his son without putting up any resistance or refusal. Meanwhile, Sam just shook his head seeing his Grandma so enthusiastic.

"We'll see. I will do something so that the wild woman will reject this match," thought Sam.

"Is it better for Grandma to send a letter or go directly to Helena's parents' house?" he asked. Grandma Liona was excited.

"It's up to you, mom, what you want," said Wirya.

"Okay, I'll take Alex," said Grandma Liona as she got up from her seat.

Wirya and Sam just looked at each other. They were surprised by Grandma Liona's behavior.

"Grandma, why does it have to be Alex?" Sam asked.

"Grandma would rather chat with Alex, he doesn't like you." Grandma turned and left the living room.

"You woman. It's always like that. I wish she wasn't my uncle. I've already left her." Sam grumbled as he picked up the car ignition that was on the table.

"Sam. Where are you going?" Virya asked.

"I want to go out, Dad. Maybe I want to meet Jerry," said Sam.

"Is your friend only Jerry? Nobody else?" Wirya asked while laughing.

"Sometimes it's more comfortable when you're no longer friends or in a relationship with a woman." Sam answered dryly.

Wirya was surprised to hear what Sam said.

"Sam. Are you not normal?" Virya asked.

"Dad. I'm normal. I'm just a reflection of you. Aren't you also anti-women now?" Sam asked.

Wirya was silent. He just realized that all this time Sam had been imitating him a lot.
