Chapter Three

"Fuck this , I'm not paid enough to babysit a nineteen year old that won't open his mouth and fucking speak, he is not the only orphan in the world!" The police cursed rudely underneath his alcohol smelling breath while he secretly stole the few dollars in Matthew 's hands and hid it inside his pockets .

Meanwhile In the dimly lit hospital room, Matthew lay motionless on the sterile sheets, surrounded by an air thick with tension. The police officer, a stern figure with a furrowed brow, kept pleading with him to break his silence about the tragic incident but Matthew just lied down without moving or saying anything even though his eyes were open.

"Matthew , you need to talk. We're running out of time and your baby sister has not been found yet. Start talking if you want us to look for her faster !" the officer shouted, frustration edging into his voice. But Matthew still kept quiet and only the beeping sounds of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) machine kept making noises.

Matthew 's gaze remained fixed on the ceiling, his lips sealed tight. The officer's frustration reached its peak, escalating into anger.

"You think you can just stay silent? Well, I can make things difficult for you. No food until you start cooperating,you will only survive on water and I will make sure to throw the water away if you still have that prideful attitude of yours " he threatened, his eyes narrowing without showing concern that Matthew just lost his parents and his baby sister is missing.

A tense silence hung in the room as the officer's words lingered, attempting to break Matthew 's resolve. Matthew refused to say a word because he knew that some of the policemen had something to do with his parents death and he doesn't trust anyone again after witnessing the cold death of his parents.

The door creaked open, revealing a stunning blonde girl with tears streaming down her face. She entered with an ethereal grace, she was dressed in very sexy clothes that revealed her curvy and beautiful body and her breasts were all out only her nippled were hidden .

She looked like a stripper going to a party because even her face was plastered with heavy make up. Without hesitation, she rushed to Matthew 's bedside and gave him a big hug.

"Matthew ! I thought I lost you," she cried, her words muffled against his hospital gown. .

"I missed you so much. I'm glad you're alive," she continued, her voice a mix of relief and sorrow. Matthew , caught off guard by her unexpected entrance, felt a warmth he hadn't experienced since the tragedy struck.

For the first time since the loss of his parents, a faint smile graced Matthew 's lips as he hugged the beautiful girl back. The officer did not question her actions because he was busy checking her out.

"Lisa , you came " Matthew whispered while trying his best to hug his girlfriend with his stiff painful arms

"Of course, sorry it took some days for me to come . I was crowned the prom Queen alongside Erik as the prom King so we were busy but I'm so excited and my crown is sparkly and I wish it was real gold and not some fake plastic but I know that you will buy me a real diamond tiara . the way you promise before your parents die !Can't wait for you to get up from this nasty smelling sick bed ! " she said with a big smile while chewing gum

"Don't be stupid , he doesn't have any money. All his parents life saving and wages has been seized" the policeman said with so much malice

" Is this true ?!" Lisa asked looking at Matthew with a strange face

"I don't know , I am just hearing this " Matthew spoke to the policeman for the first time .

"Hehe , boy . You're now a very poor man and you might even start living at an orphanage so be ready to suffer and die alone and poor " the police said casually without feeling any remorse

"I still have Lisa as my girlfriend, I am not alone!" Matthew said with so much hope while holding Lisa 's hands

"She doesn't look like someone that will date a poor kid, she's too hot " he said while smacking his tongue

"Thank you" Lisa said blushing while Matthew looked at her with so much horror in his eyes.

"I need to see a lawyer " Matthew said because he was getting uncomfortable with the way the police man is behaving,he seems shady and suspicious.

"No need, just tell me what I need to know and that's everything that happened that day" the policeman said his hands touching his gun

"I don't know anything and I can't remember anything. I only know that my parents are dead and my sister is missing. " Matthew lied because he suspected that the policeman was not a good one.

"Well Babe, I need to go. I have to go to the saloon to fix my hair. I also have a party to attend and I have to hang out with Joshua . Don't miss me much, I will come to see you when I have the time " she said before kissing him on both of his cheeks

"Okay .... I will miss you, can you stay for some few moments with me please? " Matthew said because he felt so heartbroken and lonely.

"No, I'm busy but I will come back as soon as possible. Besides, the policeman here can keep you company. " she said but Matthew sighed and reluctantly let her hand slip out of his as she stepped out of his hospital room without even looking back at him.

"Your girl is hot , you banging that lil mama ?" The police asked but Matthew ignored him

"It's none of your business and I need a lawyer now " Matthew said

"So you can even speak but you were pretending not to huh ?" The policeman said

"I'm going to sleep" was the only thing that Matthew said after drinking a bottle of water that the nurse brought for him, the nurse didn't bring him any food and he was even too heartbroken to eat so he didn't complain.

Matthew was busy sleeping in the middle of the night with the lights off when he sensed a shadow over him and he noticed that a large hand was moving towards his crotch.
