Chapter 5 Kidnappers

CHAPTER FIVE

Meanwhile, in the hall, all the Kanana Dogari were seated in a mat serially, best on their number. Prince Cheto was the first, followed by an empty space left for number one, and then number two, Bege, and my fellow Dogari. The queen was standing in front of the class, teaching us more about academics. Today's class was more fun because the queen was teaching about puberty and development, making even the toughest member of the class excited and shy at the same time.

The class was full of questions from the Dogari. The prince had much to ask, but due to the fact that it was his mother taking the class, he felt embarrassed to ask any questions related to puberty. The queen would answer some questions while looking at the prince, hoping he would ask any questions. Time to time, she would turn around. Bege asked a lot of questions, some of which were funny and made the class laugh.

The class became more fun when the queen sketched a diagram on the wall, calling it the "sex organ." The hall in which we studied was at the right side of the palace, close to the small gate and one of the beautiful waterfalls of the Wase Kingdom. From the class, you could see the waterfall clearly, followed by a very large running stream and then a forest.

Today, the prince kept feeling unusual. He felt tense for some reason; he didn't know whether it was because of the teaching or the fact that Kauna, one of the most beautiful Kanana Dogari, was seated at his back. But he would turn time to time, looking at the falling water, feeling some tension, his heart beating faster as he felt nervous.

His heart kept beating faster; he decided to turn to the direction of the waterfall to understand what was disturbing him. Boom! Boom! Behold, two people jumped out of the river, wearing black tight clothes with masks; nobody could see their faces. The prince turned around to look at the class and see if any of the Dogari also saw what he was seeing. But all the class were so excited about the lectures and didn't pay attention to what was happening in the stream.

The prince quickly turned around to be sure what he was seeing was true or if he was just seeing things. He noticed that two muscular-looking guys were coming very fast; one of the guys swung up a rope with an anchor at the top, threw it over the top of the cliff, and then, like shadows, they both started climbing the rope. Their movement was very unique; anybody who saw them would be very sure they were top experts.

The prince turned around very fast and tapped Kauna; he was nervous. Kauna turned around shyly, feeling that the prince wanted to discuss the lesson with her, which made her feel shy. The prince was good-looking, so it was normal for her to develop a liking for him, but the moment she saw his face, she saw fright in his eyes. She was confused.

"What was he trying to say?" Kauna thought, so she held his hand to ask him what he meant. "Please take a deep breath and then start from the beginning, what is wrong with you, my prince?"

Prince Cheto took a deep breath, trying to compose himself, even though he still felt his body shaking violently. "Look over there, look, we are being attacked!"

Kauna reacted quickly, standing up in an instant, taking out her sword, ready to fight. Her action made all the other Dogari frightened, and they also responded quickly, shielding out their swords. They all made a round position around the prince. Two of them stood at the front of the queen, securing her. The action was very fast.

The queen was surprised at the action, sensing danger. She was not a fool for the Dogari to take such formation; it meant they all sensed danger. The prince was not exceptional; he also shielded out his sword. He was not useless after all; he was trained by the king's personal guard, so he was on par with the Dogari when it came to combat skills.

Though he was not hardened like them, they were trained with more pain, making them deadly fighters. They fought till the last blood of their vein. Their purpose was to protect the prince with their life.

Meanwhile, Kauna, who stood up so quickly, scanned around to see the danger the prince was talking about. She was disappointed; she couldn't see anyone. In fact, everywhere was silent. What was the prince trying to say? She turned around to face the prince to confirm whether she heard him right.

Bege, standing in front of Kauna, noticed the look on Kauna's face. He guessed it was a false alarm. After all, he also looked around to see the danger, but the palace seemed peaceful. "Kauna, are you on your period? Ha ha ha, you really scared us," Bege made fun of Kauna before shielding his sword back.

The whole Dogari laughed. Mutuwa, who was number 10 and also a friend to Bege, commented, "Kauna, are you embarrassed by today's class? Ha ha ha." The whole Dogari laughed out so loud. They all shielded their swords, only Prince Cheto and Kauna kept holding their swords even tighter.

Just as the whole class was about to sit down, a red smoke started rising from the floor, getting bigger and consuming all the class. The class started coughing repeatedly, some losing their vision. Bege reacted quickly, jumping out of the hall and managing to drag the queen out with the help of two Dogari standing at her front.

Kauna noticed the smoke and stopped breathing in, believing it was poison. She quickly grabbed the prince and beat the ground with her leg, making her body very light. In an instant, she flew out of the class, hugging Prince Cheto tightly.

Some of the Dogari managed to respond quickly and jump out of the class. Around 25 of the Dogari, including the prince and the queen, managed to escape. The moment Kauna hit the ground, she immediately made a quick stand, ready to fight anything coming.

Bege also rolled to the front of Kauna, holding his sword strongly, pushing his hand to the back like he was trying to defend Kauna and the rest. He was always trying to show that he was the best, feeling that nobody could stand him.

While the others were trying to respond from the sudden encounter, two muscular-looking guys, well-covered with strange masks, appeared out of the red smoke. They were holding a chain with two irons each at the side of the chain. They made a fighting stand in a unique way, like twins wearing the same dress - black tight clothes with swords shielded at the side. They were the same height, making it difficult to differentiate one from the other.

"Who are you?" Bege asked with his head raised. They refused to respond, emitting a strong aura that made the whole environment very tense.

"Why are you not responding? Are you trying to scare me by keeping quiet? I advise you to surrender now," Bege said, taking out his second sword and holding two swords, ready to fight. The two strange guys did not move, keeping the same position like statues.

Bege was angered by the fact that what he just said did not scare the two enemies. He felt it was a shame to him, as the captain of the Dogari, he had to respond and prove a point. He quickly charged towards the two guys like lightning, his actions so fast that you could only see his afterimage.
