Victor's gaze was unyielding. "I found out that Gabriel was behind the deaths of my parents. He was the one who killed them eight year ago."

Victor's eyes narrowed. "It's true. Gabriel planned their deaths. And Gad... Gad was involved too. He killed Sofia, the only woman I ever loved."

The accusation was almost too much to bear. "Gad? Why would he do that?"

Victor's face hardened. "Sofia refused to work for Gad and threatened to expose him. Gad couldn't let that happen, so he took her life. He even violated her before killing her."

Tears welled up in my eyes. "I can't believe this. My father and Gad... why would they do such terrible things?"

Victor's expression was unyielding. "They've caused me unimaginable pain. And now, I intend to make you understand that pain. I'm going to make sure you suffer as I have. I'll impregnate you and then cast you aside, just as you and your father have done to me."

My heart sank. I realized then that Victor was capable of anything. His cruelty was not just about revenge-it was about destroying me completely.

As I was heading back to my bedroom, someone suddenly stopped me. It was one of Gad's men, sneaking into the mansion.

"We're taking you out of here now," he said urgently.

"Search the mansion for any other intruders," Victor ordered coldly.
