Chapter 3 The end of the two.

Monica could not deny neither could she avoid the question. 'My husband bought it'. She said.

Lily was bewildered, but she kept quiet and left the room.

Some other time monica wanted to eat out but the girls weren't financially buoyant. To Lily's surprise again Monica brought out some cash and said, 'from my husband'.

How? Lily asked.

Monica's response,'believe it or not this is the last money he has. Had it been there's another way he wouldn't have given it to me'.

Okay. Lily responded.🤬

The same old story each and everytime, but the last she did which lily refused to accept.

Monica was craving fruits, mango to be specific; the money in the house was meant to pay the house rent, so they can't take out of it.

Before lily could think of any solution; Monica's husband came back with a bag of mango.

Lily confronted Monica. 'Don't play me for a fool. Where did this money came from?

I told you to let your husband pay the house rent this time but what did you say? You told me that he doesn't have any money, right?

What have I done to you to deserve this? Have I ever make things difficult for you guys?

Even when you needed something, I would rather pay for it than allow you to bother your husband.

But what did you do? Lies, lies upon lies, everything is fake, oh my god!
