Chapter 4 4

Aubrey waited outside Layla's for her, she closed the door behind her, and he smiled she'd returned his smile. She slipped in and he followed closing the door, the car pulled away. "So today we have the majority of our lesson together. Lunch we will discuss the tutoring timetable seen as we were rudely interrupted yesterday. Is that okay with you?"

"Yeah, that's fine."

He smiled. "From now on we'll be eating lunch together every day, you will be free to do whatever you wish at break cause break times are for our friends are we understood?"

She nodded.

"Words Torino."

"Yes, I understood."

He smiled. "Good I'll see your first period." He said, kissing her cheek before departing her company.

She continued to walk alone her friends ran up to her hugging her.

He watched time as he stood with his. "Someone's got it bad."

"I have not."

"You have. Why didn't you stay with her?"

"You are my friends, they are hers we have boundaries."

"You mean rules?"

He smiled.

"Glad to hear it. You don't need a chick glued to you all day."

"We have lessons together this morning, so she is free to do what she likes until then."

"And after that?"

"We do lunch and I will wait for her after school, so she can tutor me."

"Wow you've got this pretty much worked out, haven't you?"

"Pretty much."

"What are you doing with Aubrey Tanner, Lay? He's the most feared kid in school, well apart from those he chooses to hang around with. Has he got something on you?"

"No. I'm tutoring him."

"You sure he needs it Lay? He's pretty brainy he's in most of the top classes. Don't you share some of them with him?"

"Yeah and the rest with them. The ones we share are for homework purposes only."

"And the others?"

"I guess."

"Be careful Lay, they say he's dangerous, more dangerous than them."

"I will." And didn't she know it, she'd found out his secret and he wasn't prepared for her to leak it either. So she was stuck with him.

The bell went and they all went in for registration and their first two lessons before the break.

"Aren't you going to meet Aubrey?"

"No break is for friends."

"Glad to hear it and lunch?"

"I'm sorry guys. I have to have lunch with him."

"Are you scared of him Lay?"

"Yes." She admitted.

"Don't let him bully you Lay, he's just like us."

But she knew different.

Aubrey met Layla outside her class and they went to lunch sitting next to one another. Everyone looked over at them as she twisted her fork. "Ignore them Torino have your lunch."

"I've lost my appetite."

"Eat." He demanded.

She cringed.

"Please Torino, I don't want you passing out on me."

She nodded and was tired again.

"Come on Torino you're clearly not hungry, maybe tomorrow we'll eat outside so no one can put you off your food." He said, grabbing her hand pulling her up, pulling her out of the dinner hall, everyone watching. "What the fuck are you staring at? Enjoying the show? fuck off !"

He pulled her outside sitting under the tree on the grass. "I'm sorry Torino they were pissing me off."

"It's okay." She said, finally breathing.

He placed his hand on her face to turn it so she was facing him. "No, it's not. It's none of their fucking business who either of us chooses to share our time with."

She looked at him. He pecked her lips taking his hand off her face. "Right let's get down to business." He said, taking the schedule out. He gave it to her. "I hope this is not too much for you we have a lot of essays this year and I'd like you to help me with them and we can do our homework together."

"And the weekends?"

"If we have finished everything that has to be done we are both free to go out with our friends and socialise, if not we stay together until it's done. Then and only then we meet up with friends is that all okay for you?"

She nodded.

"What did I say about words Torino?"

"It's fine."

"Good, 'cause there's a party in a few weeks and I'd like to be there. So we need to get everything up to date by then. Any questions?'

"No."

He placed his hand on her face making her feel nervous. "I think you and I are going to be good friends, very good friends indeed." He touched her lips with his, kissing her.

He moved away. "I will be waiting by the gates for you okay, you need to tell your parents from now on until we leave. Walk out with the others I know you have lessons with them."

"Okay."

The bell rang. "I'll meet you at the gates. I've told the others to walk with you."

"Okay."

"Later Torino."

"Bye Aubrey."

They went in separate directions, unfortunately, she had lessons with his friends this afternoon and they wouldn't shut the hell up about her and Aubrey and whether or not he was going to bang her, and if she was going to let him, she scoured at them, they laughed hysterically and they wouldn't shut the hell up as they walked out of school. "Your princess, Aub."

"Thanks, guys."

"Our pleasure, she's such a tease." They laughed.

"What did you say to her?"

"Nothing."

"Guys."

"Ask Lay, we're off."

"Sure."

"Later you two, don't get doing anything we wouldn't."

"We won't." Aubrey winked.

They all laughed.

"See you tomorrow Lay."

"Whatever"

They laughed, tapping Aubrey on his shoulder and wand talking away.

He looked at her. "What did they, say Torino?"

"Nothing."

"Torino don't lie to me. I can hurt you."

"They just asked when you were going to fuck me and if I was going to let you."

They got into the car. He closed the door lunging forward-looking blank and disconnected at her. "Never use curse words in front of me, Torino."

"I only told you what they said, they were their words, not mine."

He smiled. "Of course they were." He looked at her. "Do you want me to have a word with them?"

"No, it's fine."

"Sure, but from now on you tell me everything okay?"

"Okay."

He smiled pressing his lips on hers and adding kissing her. He moved away. "Drive."

The car pulled away. They got out of the car and went to his room to do their homework

"You'll be staying for dinner tonight."

"But..."

"No buts Torino. I'm not taking your excuses for an answer tonight. I'd like your company for dinner and the driver will take you home later okay."

"Okay." She sighed.

He smiled. "Shall we?"

"Sure."

They began their homework, he smiled at her. He really liked this girl, she wasn't like the other girls at that fucking school. She wasn't fake and she didn't want him for his money either. He enjoyed her company, but for now she would tutor him and do what he asked of her because he knew he'd got her in a corner with no escape and he'd remind her of that every time she told him no.

They put their pens down he moved closer to her. "You know maybe when school is over we can be more than we are now."

"I don't know. I don't think it's such a good idea."

"Of course, it is. You know everything about me."

"Not everything."

"You know enough." He leaned forward. "At least say you'll think about it."

"I will."

He smiled pressing his lips on hers and kissing her.

"Dinner is served."

"Come on Torino let's get something to eat."

He took the hand leading her out of the room downstairs to the dining table, where everything was laid out. They sat down choosing what they wanted and began to eat.

He looked at her every now and again, smiling, continuing to eat.

After dinner, they went back upstairs to finish their work. "We can do our assignments tomorrow if you're up for it?"

"Sure."

"Once you've done yours you'll be doing mine."

"But..."

"No buts Torino, we have the same class."

"So why can't we do it together."

"We are, but you're doing all of the work."

"Bu..."

"No buts Torino you will, or you will suffer the worst pain ever. Do we understand each other?"

"Yes."

"Good girl." He said kissing her. "Pack your stuff up. I best get you home, unless you're planning on staying."

She hurried, stuffing everything into her bag. He chuckled as she did he sure knew how to get to her.

"I'm done."

"Maybe one day you'll stay the night."

She glared at him, he chuckled evilly. "Let's get you home Torino."

He took her hand leading her out of the room downstairs and out to the car getting in the car and pulling away.

"How longs is this going to go on for Aubrey?"

"Don't you like my company, Torino?"

"It's okay."

"Just okay?" He chucked. "And to answer your question, until school is over."

She nodded.

The car pulled up outside her house. "Tomorrow Torino, don't be late."

"Sure."

He kissed her cheek. "Sweet dreams Torino, maybe one day I'll be in them."

"Night Aubrey." She said, getting out of the car closing the door, walking up to the house, opening the door walking in and closing the door the door behind her.

"Drive."

The car pulled away.
