Chapter 2 Leave my house

My whole mood was set on going to the mansion but here my dad changed our plans because of Sophia, he received a call and excused himself. My face is full of anger and now I'm here alone with the evil witch sophia.

"I think you owe your father an apology" I turn to see Sophia standing behind me, a grim expression covers her face.

"Excuse me? Since when do i care about what you think" I said in a rude tone

"Look I know you are upset about your father's unexpected decision, if it'll make you feel better I can talk to him so that we can all go to the mansion. What do you say?" She said with a sweet smile

"Such audacity to think that you have the right to decide whether I can or can't go to my own house, don't be delusional sophia" I said in the same tone

"Oh Alice you know that's not what I meant, I........" I didn't let her finish

"Just cut the crap with me Sophia, you're not the sweet and naive little lady you want people to believe that you are. My father may fall for it but definitely not me, i can see right through you and we both know what you really want here" I said in anger

"That's outrageous, we may have our differences but you can't talk to me like that" she said her face getting ashen

"Get this Sophia, I'll speak however the hell i want. You can't tell me what to do, i don't take orders from you" I said

"Is everything ok in here" dad asked coming in

"Everything is okay honey, I was thinking what if all three of us go to the mansion? We could spend time together, it'll be so much fun" She asked with all smiles on her face but she can't fool me, I've seen girls like sophia come and go.

"Sophia you know I've been really busy these past few months with work, so i want to make it up to you. On this trip you'll get my all attention, if you're worried about Alicia I'll take her on a vacation after we get back right darling?" He turns to look at me straight in the eyes prodding me to say something but I turn my attention to Sophia feeling like she's trying to erase every memory of mom.

"How dare you spit on the memory of my mother? Do you think you can replace her? You don't even come close you skanky trash, you're just a gold digging bitch that's after my dad's money" I said full of anger

"Alicia! that's way out of line, I think you should apologize to Sophia right now" he said in a loud booming voice

"I will never do that, i didn't say nothing she didn't deserve" I said matching his angry eyes

Dad takes a few steps forward, he keeps his eyes down and takes in a deep breath as if gathering all of his energy for what he's about to say next. Finally his eyes meets mine

"If that's the case then i have no choice but to ask you to leave my house" he said

I was so shocked by what he said i thought i was just hearing things but the look in his eyes told me what i heard was real. I felt my heart constricting looking at my dad, the only person left i could call family kicked me out of his house all because of his girlfriend. i couldn't control the tears that rolled out of my eyes dampening my cheek. I opened my mouth and closed it words failing to come out and finally pride stopped me from responding with one last angry look at dad and sophia I stormed off to my room passing by them with my head held high.

I slam the door of my room shut, the force reverberates through the walls hoping it reaches Sophia and Dad

"Babe come here, I miss you.....look I'm sorry about what happened earlier, I'm all yours now" Aiden said smiling,

Ignoring his pleading eyes, I pull out a large suitcase from under the bed and lug it to my closet. I start to randomly yank my clothes from the closet to my suitcase

"Babe what's going on" he asked confusion clearly written on his face

"Dad kicked me out of the house because of his new girlfriend, unbelievable! She's got him wrapped around her perfectly manicured fingers" I said still fuming in anger

"Wow sounds like she definitely has him on a leash but i can't hold it against your dad though, with a body like hers.....OUCH"

Aiden cries out in pain as a sneaker I held flies across the room and lands on the side of his head.

"You deserve more than that" I said

"That was a good throw baby, I gotta give that to you. It still hurts though.....so where are you going to live?" He asked

"What kind of question is that? I'll live at your house where else can i go" I asked rolling my eyes at him and continued yanking my clothes in the suitcase

"Whoa hold up a second, where are you going again" he asked confused as if i stuttered the first time

"Aiden are you even listening to what I'm saying, i told you earlier dad kicked me out of the house" I said getting irritated

"I am listening but the part about you moving to my house? I didn't get the memo for that, so it kinda freaked me out a little right now" he said

"I just need a place to crash until I figure out what to do next, besides you almost live here so i can also live at your place, you're my boyfriend and its only fair" I said

"I'm sorry but i can't do this.......it's just too much for me" He said looking at me

"So i can't stay here and I can't stay at my boyfriend's place either, what do you expect me to do now Aiden?" I asked looking him straight in the eyes

Aiden jumps up from the bed and starts to gather his stuff, phone, wallet, sweater, cigarette pack and other random items.

(I guess he is now coming back to his senses, I'm glad he can be here when i need him) I thought to myself but he heads to the door without taking my suitcase with him, he stops momentarily at the door with his back facing me

"You can book a hotel room" and just like that he vanishes leaving me alone dealing with the second major blow of the day.
