Chapter 2

I jolted up from sleep as the pain pierced my heart. I could feel Hera howling in pain too. I knew exactly what was happening as I felt the pain again but I couldn't scream out, I had to muffle my screams so as not to wake my little girl.

He was with someone again and I couldn't do anything about it but feel pain. That was why he had forbidden me from accepting his rejection so I could feel the pain anytime he had sex with another woman.

Why is he doing this to us? Hera cried as I stood up to my feet and made way for the door, are we cursed? Why does our own mate hate us this much?

I don't know Hera, I whined as I opened the door and got out of the basement.

I struggled to keep myself on my feet as I walked up the stairs.

What are you doing? She asked me.

I don't know.

I actually didn't know, I walked up the stairs and navigated my way through the pack house. It was silent as everyone was asleep. I walked through the hallways and ascended more steps making my way to where my heart led me.

I walked till I reached the door, another pain shot through my entire being this time and I felt my knees buckle.

Nyx, no! What the hell are you doing? Hera asked as I reached out and knocked on the door. I could literally hear their grunts and screams of pleasure. I knocked harder as the pain intensified and their noises increased.

I was about to knock again when the door was flung open and I immediately bowed my head in submission as the Alpha aura overcame me.

He was standing there stark naked with his eyes glowering with anger as he stared at me.

"Why are you doing this to me Titan?" I yelled in pain addressing him by his name without his title.

Before I could say Jack I was pinned against the wall, his hand with his extending claws wrapped around my neck.

"You mutt!" He growled, "How dare you question me and address me with disrespect?"

A slap landed on my face and I whimpered in pain and Hera howled at the same time.

"You asked for this!" I saw his eyes darken and I knew he was mind linking.

He dropped me and I landed on the floor with a thump. Soon enough warriors appeared out of no where grabbing me and leading me out of the pack house while other pack members came out of their rooms, murmurs and grumbles grew.

I was taken outside the pack house, standing in the open field with pack warriors by my side tightening their grips around my arms. We were soon joined by other pack members who stood on looking with confused faces wondering what was going on.

Alpha Titan came out of the pack house too, he was dressed now and he had on a very terrifying look. I was overwhelmed with fear and curiosity but mostly fear as I wondered what he was going to do to me.

"Silence!" He barked at the pack members and they seized their chatter immediately, "Today, I shall teach this Omega." His gaze was directed at me, "Never to cross me ever again!"

I whined knowing that it was my mate talking to me like this and causing me this pain.

"Bring him out!" He screamed and I saw my dad being dragged out of the pack house looking haggard as usual. They left him on the ground paces away from where the Alpha stood.

"Dad..." I screamed alarmed trying to run towards him but was immediately held back by the warriors.

"What are you going to do?" I yelled at Alpha Titan. The pack members gasped at my audacity, "Leave him out of this, I am the one who angered you."

"No dear mate, No." His smirk was sinister, "I know this will ruin you more and you will live with this guilt forever."

What guilt? I asked myself as I watched him shift into his huge brown wolf.

And before my very eyes, he lunged towards my father and then I knew what he meant by the guilt. I watched as he pounced on my father, snapping his neck between his wolf jaws, the crunching sound made me sick to my stomach as blood splattered.

I fell to the ground slipping away from the warrior's hold as I watched my dad die before me, a death I had caused.

I howled in pain.

I only wanted a day which wasn't entirely happy as I knew I couldn't be happy but at least peaceful cause it was a special day, what I didn't expect was to be the cause of my own father's death on my 21st birthday.
