Chapter 4 Surprised

She was also surprised when Lyla told her she received the money. She thought the guy would call Lady Ama and tell her what happened, but surprisingly, lady Ama didn't talk about anything like that when she went to the club earlier.

Could it be that the guy left the money for her??? That would be so great.

"Last night our restaurant was filled with influential people, that was the reason we didn't close on time. The money is the tip they asked me to share within my colleagues." She explained with so much seriousness. One wouldn't know she was lying.

"What the fuck!" Shirley exclaimed. "Eight thousand dollars for tip?"

It was unbelievable.

"I don't own it all. We're six."

"OMG!!! This is so huge!!!" Lyla screamed happily.

"Yeah. We were all so happy, that was why we didn't complain when they didn't leave on time."

"Why are you just receiving the alert?" Lyla raised her brows.

If the money was the tip given to them, she was sure the customer would have sent it since yesterday.

"I've been waiting for the alert. I think my bank had issues." Anna replied.

"So you're gonna be getting like..." Lyla stopped to calculate. "One thousand three hundred plus! Let's do some shopping babe!"

Anna wanted to refuse, cause they had to pay their rent but when she thought about the amount of money left after subtracting one sixth of the money, she decided to just go shopping and have fun. Afterall there would still be a lot of money left and she didn't even work for the money. It was totally free!

"Shopping time..."

"Fun time!" Lyla and Shirley chorused.

They all laughed and went to get dressed.

By the time they returned from their shopping and all, it was already night time. They didn't only shop, they went to different places and they had so much fun.

The three girls were seated in the living room and their gazes were fixed on the TV.

While Lyla and Shirley were seated on the couch, Anna was seated on the floor in front. Not that they weren't any other couch in the living room, she was comfortable on the floor.

They were watching a movie and a big bowl of popcorn was held by Anna.

"No!" They all shouted when the male lead of the movie got shot.

"I thought you said the movie has a happy ending." Lyla frowned.

Shirley was about to reply when they heard a knock on the door.

Her brows furrowed and she looked at the girls. "Are you guys expecting someone?"

"I ordered for chicken, I guess it's them." Anna stood from the floor with the bowl of popcorn in her hand.

As she strode to the door, she picked from the popcorn and chewed ecstatically.

"Hold on" She muttered and used her free hand to open the door.

As soon as the door opened and her gaze came in contact with familiar blue eyes, the bowl of popcorn fell down from her hand and the content poured on the floor.

Her breath seized for a second as she stood face to face with the guy that paid thousand of dollars for a service he wasn't later offered.

Different thoughts ran through her mind. Was he there to collect his money back or what??? How did he find out where she lives?

She didn't want to believe lady Ama would do such. Lady Ama had promised her not to let out any information about her, so she didn't want to think it was her.
