Chapter 5 STACY

Stacy's point of view

The next day. Sabastian woke me up with an already prepared food. He planted a kiss on my forehead. With smiles molding my face, he said. "Good morning, darling."

I breathed intensely before I replied. "Thank you for waking him up very well. Today is my welcoming party and my declaration as the heiress of Watson's empire." Sabastian smiled.

"Congratulations, my darling. Eat up and put on an elegant dress. I won't fail to follow you." I nodded my head and quickly ate the food placed in front of me.

I went to freshen up and by the time I came back I was surprised that Sabastian had helped me handpicked a beautiful and elegant dress for today's swearing in.

Looking at how it all matched, I was forced to speak. "How did you know about fashion this much?" Sabastian walked up to me and helped me close the zip of my gown. With his warm breath on my neck, he said. "Growing up, I learnt about fashion from my mother. So, I know a lot about it."

His skills were admirable and I love it. That day, I set forth to stun the event.

I arrived at the coronation center with my husband Sabastian. Only for me to see Greg present in that same place with Fiona. In a bid to dodge him, I held Sabastian and said; "Let us go through that place."

But my logic didn't work out. Greg already saw me and he came to meet me.

"Congratulations, Stacy. It is quite unbelievable that you are actually the daughter of Mr Watson." When Sabastian heard him say that, he looked at him from his head to his toe.

"And who is this?" He asked me.

"Darling, this is Greg; my ex-husband." Sabastian nodded his head in full understanding.

"What do you want?" I asked sharply.

Greg tried to move closer to me only to be pushed backwards by Sabastian. "What is your problem? Greg. Maintain your space. She is married to me now." When Greg heard him say that, he turned to Sabastian.

"I didn't say you are not married to her. Right now, I want her." When Fiona heard what Greg said, she was surprised and she held his hand.

"Leave my hand!" Greg jerked off Fiona's hands and that only surprised her. "What are you doing? I thought you said we are here to taunt them?" As soon as she said that, uncontrollable laughter proceeded from the lips of Greg.

"Are you a fool? You must be stupid for thinking I brought you to taunt the almighty Stacy Watson." Fiona felt a twist in her chest. She was shivering. I could tell that she was getting shy and embarrassed.

"Stop embarrassing me! This is not what you told me when you asked me to follow you." Greg shot a deadly glare at her.

"This is not what I told you, because I want you to feel the pain I felt when I lost everything. If I had told you I am here to dump your ass, would you have followed me?" Fiona couldn't believe her ears. I couldn't believe mine either. How could Greg be so cruel?

"I don't understand. What are you trying to say?" Fiona furrowed her gaze at him. She was trying to wrap her head around his words.

"Read my lips Fiona! I am done with this relationship. I don't want to ever see you again." Hearing those words, Fiona's heart gripped with pain. I felt pain on her behalf.

"What?! Why would you say such a thing after everything I did for you?"

Greg arched his brows. "There is nothing that you did for me." "You made me lose everything, Fiona. I lost everything because of you." Hearing that, Fiona didn't quite get it.

"I don't understand. How did I make you lose everything?" With the way Fiona sounded, I realized Greg didn't tell her about the ill-fate he met.

"After divorcing Stacy. It happened that she is the one behind my success. I lost everything immediately after the divorce. But you of all people didn't know, Fiona. All you kept doing was to ask for money for expensive hair, necklace, rings and so on... even when you saw that I didn't go to the office after my employment. You didn't ask any questions. You were just busy eating the little money I had left." Those words bruised Fiona. It appeared like a news flash before her eyes.

"But..." Greg didn't let her finish. He cut in. "I am here to strip you naked of everything. My properties and your right as my girlfriend." While Fiona was still thinking about what he would do.

Greg was about making a call. I took a swift move by ditching a slap on his face. The phone Greg held fell off his hands. Greg's eyes bulged with shock. Even Sabastian was surprised.

"Why did you slap me?!" Greg's face became fierce as he got close to me.

"Because you are up to no good. Today is my coronation ceremony and you dare come here to cause a ruckus! Are you courting death?!" I widened my eyes with anger. Those harsh words pierced his heart and he grinded his teeth.

"Either you like it or not, Fiona. Today, I will strip you off everything." "And to you, Stacy, you will be mine." Hearing him say that to me, I spoke harshly.

"I can see that you are definitely crazy. I am calling the cops on you." Sabastian cut into the conversation on hearing those from me.

"I don't know you are this crazy, Greg. Do not bother yourself about it, darling. I will take care of him." When I heard Sabastian's words, my heart shivered with fear. I knew what Sabastian could do.

I faced Greg. "If you know what is good for you. You better leave this place immediately." Hearing what I said, Greg went after Fiona and he pulled her wig.

I can't believe what was happening before me.
