Chapter 5 THE SEARCH

It was two days later ,Kona was sitting on his favourite spot by the beach speculating about the secrets of the sea and analysis his dream that had strangely reoccurred twice since the previous time and if that wasn't peculiar enough the last had happened more like a vision in broad daylight while in the dinning room just after lunch when everyone was leaving the hall and he had decided to wait for Claire and the others from his team as they had decided on meeting for a few minutes to plan before going fore the evening practice that included dealing with the creatures of the forest and those d

omesticated in the camp ,it was Claire who snapped him out of the vision and since then the day went haywire, everything taking a horrible turn all the creatures even the most ferocious of them all seemed to avoid him and fear him .He ended up failing the familiar test where he was supposed to find a familiar that would be his best friend unbound by death ,the choices were between the Pegasus(a horse with wings ), the Fenrir (a giant wolve that can manipulate flames )and for the Zeus children they had the option of the thunder bird(a gigantic bird of thunder as the name implies) and the Son's of Paseidon the Hippocampus (half horse with a fish tail) ,all of this greatly feared creatures evaded him .

As he sat on his favourite spot on a rock in the beach he asked himself alot of queries,just as he was sitting here gazing in the vast distance of the blue ocean now pale almost colourless a thunder was heard in the clear skies and lightening hit the landing base everyone except Kona felt their bones attempting to escape their flesh and turned to look at the direction of the sound ,just then Zeus appeared in the lightening,then follow with a purple light that made every one shut their eyes ,Hera appeared from within it ,just as the crowd is still digesting the event there is a reap in space and Athena appears in her majestic Chaos chariot .

What brings Kona back to earth is the rising sea water that reveals Paseidon ,Kona turns to sea the other three gods with Chiron who has arrived with Hera ,he quickly stands and runs and stands next to the crowd that had formed next to Cleo ,what was shocking to everyone especially the older demigods who had never seen such occur not the presence of the gods but the fact that they had come without warning and in full battle gear something they had only seen in paintings .

"Everyone to his or her area immediately,"Willow immediately took charge when he arrived . All dispersed murmuring among themselves no , Willow led the gods with the help of the other instructors to the central headquarters of the island ,the temple of the gods ,Kona who was still digesting the situation tried to ask the others what was going on,"Cleo are we moving or a we under attack by the Titans .""I don't really know ,"she calmly response to him.He nods but at heart is not satisfied with her answer .

Later on a meeting is held without warning in the phoenix fields ,the gods where seated on their thrones ,everyone else stood even Chiron , to add to the days peculiarity Athena stood to speak the congregation became grave silent ,"Okay today we want to do a quick exercise is it okay ,everyone who is turning nineteen on fifth of January next year come forth ."

No one came forth ,she turned and looked at the other gods then went on ,"okay then anyone who will be turning nineteen between first and tenth January next year come forth."This time a group of ten students moved forward,"thank you for your honesty ,okay Willow look for the mark on them
