"Puppy don't run," the female voice said, reaching for the fluffy little but big animal but it shifted away.
"Trista Jacob," her mother called, unpacking their things from the trunk.
She didn't even look back as her only focus was to catch the cute puppy
"F**king human, why can't you just leave me the f**k alone? I'm no puppy," Jax grumbled pissed at her, but too bad for him she can't hear and the only sound coming from his wolf mouth was the animal sound.
"Oh, you think you can run, right?" Jax heard from behind, he glanced back to see the human removing her shoes and throwing them away.
Was she out of her mind? This is the 21 century not the old days. Why the f**k will she remove her shoes? And why did he even care what she did? Right! He didn't care, he just wanted her to leave him alone so he could think of his life.
"Bad puppy, very bad cute Puppy," Trista ran after him
Jax ran off and the mad chase started.
She didn't seem to care as he ran round a tree at the back of the building they seem to be moving in, she was running with all her might but his wolf was slowing him down, he forced himself to improve in a feral speed but ended up tripping on his own leg and falling face flat
"F**K it! Will his life ever be better?"
"There you go," the female.... right! Trista, that's what the older woman called her.
She leaped on him, f**King leaped on him with her tiny body, in her mind she might have thought she got him but it was actually his animal that slowed down and now she's on top of him.
"Bad Puppy, no... puppy's are not bad so I'mma call you wolf, bad wolf!" she grabbed his ear, smacking his âss as she began pulling him back to her house.
"Very bad wolf," she bend over and lifted him up, carrying him as she walked back
Jax gritted his teeth furious, how dare she carry him like a baby, right! He was the size of a puppy... but damn it. He was a grown man
"My goodness, Trista Jacob," the same old woman shrinked when she saw them, eyes wide and jaw dropping.
"Who's dog... that's not a dog, who's..." the woman looked closely "A wolf? What are you doing a a wide animal and who own is that?" she scolded, stepping closer to them but Trista shifted back.
"It's mine now..."
"Are you out of your damn mind young lady?" she rasped but Trista kept mute
"Put it down,"
"Momma,"
"Put it down, now!" her mother scolded.
reluctantly, Trista did as she was told, placing Jax gently on the ground with a sad look on her face.
Jax turned to run away but his animal refused to move an inch, not even a leg was raised.
F**king Beast, does he think he can get in bed with her? The same girl that smacked his âss? No way.
"Momma, can't I just keep it?"
"Yiu can't keep stray animals at home besides you need a license before you get a dog let alone a wolf, now go get your things unpacked," her mother diana scolded.
She began ascending the small outside stairs while Trista kept standing there, seeing that her mother was gone she ran to Jax, caring him in her arms once again and running into the house, straight to her room

ISAAC AND AVA
The black pickup truck stopped by the road side and Isaac took in a deep breath, letting it out as his grip around the wheel tightened.
They have been searching for Jax since he left home in the morning but all to no avail. The worse is that Ava can't sense him, even him too can't sense him
It was as though he never existed or he left Maryland completely.
"What should we do now?" Isaac asked, staring at Ava who's on the passenger seat.
"I dunno, what Ty did to him is pretty cruel but he's the ruling alpha," she shrugged
Isaac held his jaw in thought, Jax has always been the one to defend their clan whenever things go wrong. He has always been the one to keep the humans away, it has always been him but since his mother died he lost control of his animal spirit and now they took everything from him.
Everything he had worked so hard for, he'd worked more than anyone in the clan. He wasn't the leader but because of big bad wolf, other clan Alpha's were scared of coming close to them and now that he's alone out there they will try to get back at him by hunting him down, knowing he doesn't have his pack at his back.
"Let's just keep going, maybe we will find something," Isaac replied, turning on the car engine.
