Chapter 3 The mafia bargain

Elian couldn't tolerate Luna's arrogance anymore and he walked around the room looking for his abandoned bag. Finally, Elian finally found his bag and he brought out a digger his eyes gleamed with a sadistic intensity as he reached for a dagger, its blade glinting in the dim light.

Elian moved closer to Luna and forced her legs open,he put the digger in between her legs and he's ready to tear her and kill the baby in her womb. Luna's eyes widened in horror as he slid the dagger across her leg, aiming for the gentle swell of her belly.

"No, please! Don't hurt my baby!" Luna screamed and trembled with fear.

Elian's face twisted into a grotesque grin. "Tell me who the father is, and I might spare it," he hissed, his voice dripping with malice.

"I'll tell you anything, just please don't hurt us!" Luna begged for mercy, her voice hoarse from screaming.

But Elian's pathological interest in hurting women only seemed to intensify, his actions becoming more brutal and erratic. He pressed the dagger deeper, making Luna's blood run cold.

Ryker watched, his expression unreadable as Elian's true nature was revealed. This was no longer about uncovering the truth, but about satisfying Elian's twisted desire for control and domination.

Luna's vision blurred, her mind reeling from the agony and terror. She knew she had to escape, but her body seemed paralyzed with fear. As Elian raised the dagger for another strike, Luna summoned every last ounce of strength and made a desperate bid for freedom...

Ryker's phone rang, shrill in the tense atmosphere. He answered, listening intently as Elian's grandmother spoke urgently on the other end.

"Elian, stop whatever you're doing," Ryker said, his voice firm, interrupting Elian's torture.

Elian's eyes narrowed, his grip on the dagger tightening. "What is it, Ryker?"

"It's your grandmother," Ryker replied, his expression serious. "She says you're to leave Luna alone, immediately."

Elian's face twisted in disgust. "What business does she have in this?"

Ryker hesitated before speaking. "She wants you to marry Luna, quickly. Ensure the child is born with your name."

Elian's laughter was harsh, incredulous. "Marry her? She's scheming against me, and I'm supposed to marry her?"

Ryker's expression remained neutral. "Your grandmother's instructions are clear. You will marry Luna, for the sake of the family."

Elian's anger boiled over, his eyes blazing with resentment. "I'll do no such thing," he spat, the dagger trembling in his hand.

The butler's voice was firm, his words a stark warning. "Elian, your grandmother's instructions are clear: you are to cease all pursuit of Luna and marry her immediately. The child she carries must be accepted as your own."

Luna's eyes widened in outrage, her anger boiling over. "I'll never marry him!" she spat, her voice venomous.

Elian's face twisted in rage, his hand flashing out to slap Luna with a resounding crack. The force of the blow sent her reeling, but as she stumbled, she felt something shift. A bandage slipped from her eyes, and she blinked in shock.

Blurred outlines danced before her gaze, indistinct but unmistakable. She could see!

The butler's voice continued, his words a steady drumbeat. "If you refuse, Elian, your grandparents may take...extreme measures. You know their temperaments. Do not test them."

Elian's anger seethed, his eyes blazing with fury. "I won't be blackmailed," he snarled, but the butler's words had struck a chord.

Luna's gaze, though blurry, locked onto Elian's face. She saw the turmoil there, the conflict. And she knew she had to escape, before he could harm her or her child again.
