Chapter 4 I am done for

As I walked into the crowded place, I felt a sense of relief wash over me. I knew Michael couldn't see me, couldn't find me in the sea of people. I blended in with the crowd, my face hidden behind a mask of anonymity. I kept walking, my feet carrying me farther and farther away from the hellhole I had left behind.

I didn't know where I was going, didn't know what lay ahead. All I knew was that I had to keep moving, had to keep putting distance between myself and Michael. I walked for what felt like hours, my legs aching and my body trembling with exhaustion. My mind was a blur, my thoughts racing with fear and anxiety.

But I couldn't stop, couldn't rest. I had to keep moving, had to keep running from the monster that haunted me. I walked through streets and alleys, my eyes scanning the crowds for a glimpse of safety. I didn't know what I was looking for, didn't know where I would find refuge. All I knew was that I had to keep moving.

Finally, my body gave out. My legs collapsed beneath me, and I fell to the ground. I lay there, my vision blurring and my mind spinning. I didn't know where I was, didn't know what was happening. All I knew was that I was safe, that Michael couldn't find me.

As I lay there, I felt a sense of peace wash over me. I knew I had escaped, knew I had finally found freedom. I closed my eyes, my body relaxing into the darkness. I didn't know what the future held, didn't know what lay ahead. All I knew was that I was free, and that was all that mattered.

Suddenly Michael walked towards me "Babe, I have been searching for you all night, where have you been? Let's go back home"

"No, I'm not going back with you," I spat, my voice firm and resolute. "I'm not going back to that prison, to that hellhole you call a home. I'm free now, and I'm not going to let you take that away from me."

Michael's face twisted in anger, his eyes narrowing into slits. "You're being ridiculous," he sneered. "You're not safe out here, you need me to protect you."

I laughed, a harsh, mocking sound. "Protect me? You? You're the one who's been holding me captive, who's been beating me, who's been suffocating me. You're the last person I need protection from."

Michael's face turned red with rage, and he took a step closer to me. "You're coming with me, whether you like it or not," he growled.

But I stood my ground, my heart pounding in my chest. "No, I'm not," I said, my voice firm. "I'm staying here, in this shop, until I can find someone who can help me. Someone who can protect me from you."

Michael snarled, his eyes flashing with anger, but I didn't back down. I knew I had to be strong, had to be brave. I knew I had to fight for my freedom, no matter what it took.

As I stood my ground, refusing to go back with Michael , he suddenly lunged at me, his hands grasping for my arms. I tried to shake him off, but he held tight, his grip like a vice.

"You're coming with me, whether you like it or not," he snarled, his eyes blazing with anger.

I struggled and kicked, but he was too strong. He dragged me away from the shop, away from the safety of the crowd. I knew I had to think fast, had to come up with a plan.

But before I could even think, Michael threatened me, his voice low and menacing. "If you don't follow me quietly, I'll strip you naked right here in the street. I'll humiliate you in front of everyone."

My heart raced with fear, my mind racing with panic. I knew I had to do something, had to escape. But how?

As Michael dragged me away from the shop, I felt a sense of hopelessness wash over me. I had tried to escape, had tried to fight back, but he was too strong. He had me in his grasp, and I knew I couldn't break free.

I thought about screaming, about crying out for help, but I knew it would be no use. Michael would just cover my mouth, would just drag me farther away from the crowd. And so I walked quietly, my feet heavy with defeat, my heart heavy with despair.

As we approached his house, I felt a sense of dread wash over me. I knew what lay ahead, knew what Michael had in store for me. I knew I would be trapped, knew I would be at his mercy. And so I walked slowly, my feet dragging on the ground, my heart filled with fear.

But as we reached the door, Michael's grip on my arm tightened. He pulled me close, his eyes gleaming with triumph. "You should have stayed hidden," he hissed. "You should have stayed quiet."

And with that, he dragged me inside, the door slamming shut behind us. I knew I was trapped, knew I was his prisoner once again. And so I went quietly, my heart heavy with defeat, my spirit crushed by the weight of his cruelty.
