Chapter 6 Temptation and Deception.

Fiona's POV

It was already sunset when I stepped into the hotel, knocking on the door to Davis' room, which he opened immediately.

I thought hard about what he had found out alongside what had transpired in the Brooks house. So Alexander and Sabrina had a strained relationship. Interesting!

The door pushed open, and Davis leaned on it. He had no clothes on, just a towel around his waist. "Who's in with you?" I asked curiously, stretching to see.

He pushed my head back with the tip of his finger. "None of your business. Wait outside, I'll be right back," he said as he slammed the door.

I stamped my feet, biting my lips as I waited in the corridor. Davis was a scumbag, I thought, as I watched a man stop at a door in the lobby. I looked closer and realized it was Alexander.

Swiftly, I ran to the side of the lobby, praying he hadn't seen me. It took five minutes before I walked out; he was gone.

"Thank goodness," I heaved a sigh. "But what was he doing here?"

"Who?" Davis whispered.

I jumped in fear, smacking him on the shoulder. "I told you not to ever do that."

"Who were you talking about?"

"You don't need to know," I folded my arms, turning my face to peep at the lobby, which was still empty. "What do you want to say? Quick, what did you find out?"

"The room was a study room, seemed normal, but..." He smirked.

"Talk, you fool," I insisted.

"I found a newspaper on the fire years back," he took a sheet from his pocket.

I quickly collected it, going through the pages. "But it was covered up; there was no printout."

"Exactly what I thought. Here," he pointed to the editorial team at the end of the article, "this publishing company went bankrupt a few months later."

"The Good Times news. What about the owner?"

Davis took out his phone. "Seems he ran out of town."

Something was odd about all Davis said. The news never getting to the public, the publishing house going bankrupt, and the owner leaving town-they somehow added up. "I'll be off. Thank you."

"Won't you at least give me a warm hug?" he teased, pulling my arms.

I slapped his hands away. "Go continue with the lady in there," I snapped, walking swiftly down the lobby, but before I could pass the room Alexander had entered, the door pushed open.

I froze there for a second, staring into his bright eyes.

"Hey, Fi... Fiona, right?"

"Yeah. Hey, Mr. Alexander," I feigned a smile.

"What are you doing here?" he inquired, pushing the door so I could go in.

"Came to see a friend, you?" I asked, walking in. The room was not so different from Davis', just a little bit neater.

He closed the door behind us, showing me a sofa to sit on, which I didn't hesitate to sit. "Care for a drink?" He walked to the refrigerator, taking an orange drink out which he poured into a glass. "Have it," he said.

I collected it with a smile. "Why did you come to this hotel when your family owns one?"

"Right? Just love my peace."

"Cool."

"I'm sorry you had to see that yesterday, it wasn't a good sight," he clasped his hands, sitting next to me.

"I've seen worse," I sipped a little. The other day, Tim had mentioned a rumor about Alexander with multiple ladies in Hong Kong. Apparently, paparazzi had caught up with him. Still, the ladies craved him, without paying attention to what really transpired.

This was my opportunity to do the same, but unlike them, I needed to make him fall in love with me.

"Where do you hail from?" he interrupted my thoughts. "You don't seem American."

"Is this some kind of talking stage?" I giggled, turning to look at him. Our faces were so close now.

"I don't do talking stages with women," he stared into my eyes with a curl on his lips.

"So what do you do? Get them into bed on your first meeting?"

"Something like that," he drifted away, "but not for you. You seem different. No fear nor love in your eyes, smiles but frowns a lot, and doesn't invite me to sleep with her like other ladies do on our first meeting."

What a fool! I thought as I took the drink, this time gulping everything down at once. "You shouldn't conclude that at a first meeting."

"Who says this is our first meeting?" he blurted out. "Somehow I feel I've met you before; the eyes never lie."

"You're being delusional, I've never met you, Mr. Alexander Brooks."

He pulled me closer, our lips almost colliding. "I'm sure of it. I never forget these kinds of eyes. Met a young girl ten years ago; she had these fearless eyes which annoyed the hell out of me."

I placed my hands at the back of his head, pulling myself up to sit on his lap, as I pushed my hair back. "Do I still annoy you?" I teased, revealing a good part of my chest.

He didn't budge. "So you're no different from the women?"

"Thought you said I was? Told you never to judge so easily," I chuckled, climbing off him, but he pulled my arm, giving me a hot kiss on my neck.

"Maybe I should be the one to change," he wore a smirk. "Do you want to sleep with me?"

I watched his eyes for a second. Why did I hesitate when this was what I've always lived for? I returned the kiss, which turned into a wild one as he loosened the rope at the back of my dress and unhooked my bra.

He kissed my neck down to my navel while I unbuttoned his clothes.

I gasped as his hands moved over my body, teasing and exploring with a tantalizing touch. His lips traveled down my torso, kissing, sucking, and nibbling. I shivered with every hot breath and lingering kiss. My hands traced the lines of his muscles, feeling his skin ignite under my touch.

He pushed me back onto the bed, his eyes dark with desire. I watched as he slipped off his pants, revealing his hard, throbbing length. He moved over me, his body pressing me into the mattress, his lips claiming mine with a fierce, possessive kiss.

My legs wrapped around his waist, pulling him closer. I could feel his need, his hunger, matching my own. His fingers found their way between my thighs, teasing, stroking, driving me wild with anticipation. My breath hitched, a moan escaping my lips as he pushed a finger inside me, then another, his touch sending waves of pleasure through my body.

"You're so wet," he whispered, his voice thick with lust. "I need you, Fiona."

"Then take me," I gasped, my body arching against him. "I'm yours."

He didn't need any more encouragement. With one swift motion, he thrust inside me, filling me completely. The sensation was electrifying, a perfect blend of pleasure and pain. I cried out, my fingers digging into his shoulders as he began to move, slow and deep at first, then faster, harder.

Our bodies moved in a primal dance, a rhythm as old as time. His hands gripped my hips, pulling me closer, deeper, with every thrust. My world narrowed to the sensation of him inside me, the heat, the pressure, the overwhelming pleasure. His name was a mantra on my lips, whispered, moaned, screamed.

"Fiona," he groaned, his voice a low, guttural growl. "You feel so good."

"Don't stop," I begged, my nails raking down his back. "Please, Alexander, don't stop."

He growled, a feral sound that sent shivers down my spine. His movements became more urgent, more desperate. I felt the tension building inside me, a tight coil ready to snap. I was so close, teetering on the edge of ecstasy.

And then, with a final, powerful thrust, I shattered. Pleasure crashed over me in waves, my body trembling, my mind lost in a haze of sensation. Alexander followed moments later, his own release shuddering through him as he buried his face in my neck, his breath hot and ragged.

We lay there for a moment, our breathing slowly returning to normal, our bodies entwined. As the afterglow settled in, I couldn't help but think of the game I was playing. Alexander was just another piece on the board, and I needed to keep my wits about me. The stakes were high, and the risks even higher.
