Aw, I despise that guy and his snarky demeanor so much. He was just a braggart, and I didn't care for that kind of guy. Derek is a next-in-line Alpha. His father is the Alpha of the Dusk pack. I was sure he was Chasing me for something in between his obnoxious brain lines, or maybe he wanted to use me as a bridge to reach my elder brother. Nevertheless, I couldn't care less because he was doomed to failure anyway. No one had ever won because my heart belonged to only one person: Duncan!.
"But I Didn't Miss You," I smirked, teasing him and kissing his cheeks.
He pouted his lips, saying, "Oh baby, you always make me feel bad about myself." so f**king much! He wasn't even close to being a man in the traditional sense. But at the very least, I might be able to use him for tonight's party before kicking him out of my life and breaking up with him.
"All right, you're coming with me tonight," I said with a fake smile. "We're having a party at my house tonight, and you are invited." The two of us walked out of the college campus together to our cars in the parking lots. I linked my arms around his, and we continued walking.
"We?" he said, narrowing his eyes. To be honest, the significant exclamation mark over his face caused me to chuckle out loud.
You could tell from his facial expressions how surprised and excited he was.
"Yes, that's My brother's business party," I confirmed. "Duncan, on the other hand, will not object to inviting you. I was under the impression you were interested in meeting him." With his exuberance and animated facial expressions, I raised my irises.
In the name of the Moon Goddess, I swear, that idiot leaped into his place from pure joy. He had repeatedly requested that I allow him to meet my brother. Of course, not for my own benefit. But it was because he, like every other ex-boyfriend in my life, wanted nothing more than to have a connection with my brother Alpha Duncan. In addition to being the most successful businessman in the country, he was far too powerful, with his picture plastered all over the place, including street advertising banners and the pages of magazines such as The Economist and Forbes. And, to make matters worse, Duncan was more well-known than any of the world's movie stars. He was simply Alpha Duncan, the world's youngest and wealthiest businessman at the age of thirty-one. Not to forget he was ruling The Silver warriors pack since he reached twenty-one years old and all the packs of the werewolves all over the world respected him.
But for me, he was the center of my universe. After our parents passed away when I was twelve years old, he was the one who looked after me in all aspects of my life, including school. He was all over the place in my immediate vicinity. And I cherished the sensation of being loved by him.
He was the one who trained me on how to fight like warriors. He helped me when I turned eighteen, in my precious's night while I was shifting! And that was the issue. With every painful crack of my bones, I realized that my nose couldn't smell anyone else but Duncan! I realized that my heart was beating faster than usual because he was next to me. I became well aware that night that My elder brother Alpha Duncan was my mate!
However, that was the most challenging part because my feelings for him went far beyond simple brother and sister affection. It was an irresistible solid Bond. But he was unaware of it, and I didn't tell him. Trying my best to keep those strange feelings hidden by switching boyfriends every week was just a matter of trying my best to fall in love with another.
To everyone, I was the shallow, inebriated girl who enjoyed one-night stand relationships. However, the truth was that I have never allowed anyone to touch me. I was still a virgin at the time.
Suddenly, I called out, "Derek!" to remind myself to return from my zone. While I was getting into my red Porsche, I couldn't help but stare at him.
"Yes, darling," he said as he drew his body closer to my door.
"Please don't be late tonight. Simply put, a tuxedo is required. That is something I am confident you can do! I want Duncan to like you," I said to Derek. I was more instructing him about what he should wear. I gave him a friendly wink. Then I jumped into my car and drove away without waiting for him to respond. I was confident that he would show up, and my strategy always worked.
Every single party for Duncan was ruined by me by showing up in a sexy dress with my arms linked to a new boyfriend. And that always made Alpha Duncan enraged, to the point where he kicked the man from our house.
A house, what are the chances? There was a reason why we lived in something larger than a palace. We'd only recently relocated from our previous house to that one. Alpha Duncan had determined that we will require a larger space to host parties and private conferences for his business dealings in the future.
But I had a sneaking suspicion that something fishy was about to happen.
That's why I'd decided to be more prepared than I'd ever been that time around.
To reserve the entire beauty salon for today, I called my hairdresser. I really wanted to look f***ing sexy as bloody hell.
I desired for Duncan's gaze to be solely on me or to be roaming around me. His attractive features and muscular toned body, and his piercing blue eyes were constantly drawing my attention, and I couldn't help but notice them. But I wanted Duncan to notice me like a hot she-wolf, not a pup or his younger sister. My parents died ten years ago, and the time had passed. The difference between our ages was ten years. I became twenty-one, and he's thirty-one. I considered myself to be a complete woman. Every single man in the pack and the country drooled over my beauty, but he grew increasingly enraged as the days went on. I couldn't tell if he hated seeing me growing up fast into a mature sexy she-wolf and attracting more Alphas around me or what?
In regards to me, I was well aware that Alpha Duncan is overly possessive. He simply behaved in the manner of the protective older brother. On the other hand, I yearned for more from him __ For his touch as a lover, and for his kiss as a man, and for him as a mate. I wanted him to claim me, so f**king badly. I wanted him to sleep with me and that he forgets about his whores and only thinks about me.
In his life, he never dealt with whores; however, to me, every woman in his life was nothing more than a slut who wanted a piece of my Alpha Duncan, as well as his money and fame, and power. I was confident that none of them would love him as much as I did.
I was utterly smitten with him.
I sped up my drive to the beauty salon, where I parked my car and barged into the building. I didn't have much time because it was nearly five o'clock in the afternoon. The party was scheduled to begin at ten o'clock. I wished I could have arrived earlier.
"Good morning, sweetheart." My hairdresser, Jack, came over to greet me.
"Hello, baby," I said as I kissed his cheeks. I said it in a dejected tone.
He looked at me with a puzzled expression, "what's going on, darling? You appear to be in a bad mood." He does have a soft spot for me. He was, in fact, far too gay! But he was my best friend, so that was a plus. He was my secret keeper, and I had a great deal of faith in him.
He was the only one who was aware of my feelings for his brother, and he was the one who worked with me to develop strategies and plans for every situation that arose. He even assisted me in kicking a couple of girls who were loitering around Duncan. Jack was a great help to me in so many ways, and I valued his friendship tremendously.
I motioned for him to come into his office so we could talk privately, and he led the way. Once inside, he closed the door behind me as we walked through.
"All right, now," he said, placing his hands over my shoulders. "I'm worried." He let out a sigh.
My tears streamed down my cheeks as I nodded my head." I have a feeling Duncan is going to do something tonight. He announced completely out of the blue that he will be hosting a very important party in our palace tonight, and he appeared to be very serious and strict about it. He even commanded me to arrive early." In my explanation to him, I expressed my concerns.
He rubbed his chin and sat down in his chair, beginning to think, "okay, that's weird. He always asked you not to attend his parties, and even more importantly, he asked you to lock yourself in your room." Jack said something loudly as if he were asking himself more questions than he was telling me. And he was thoughtful in sharing his thoughts with me aloud.
I slammed my buttocks against the chair in front of him and yelled, "exactly!" I just blurted it out.
"Don't be concerned, girl," Jack said with a snap of his fingers. "It does not matter what he has planned for tonight. As we have done in the past, we will derail this plan. Have you invited your new boyfriend over yet?" He had questioned me.
"Yes, without a doubt, I did. Derek is handsome, and he happens to be the son of the dusk pack's alpha. I can already tell that his appearance will make Duncan extremely irritated. But-I'm still a little concerned." I swallowed and cleared my throat.
"For the time being, forget about it. I'll be right by your side. I'll accompany you to the party tonight." Jack informed me, which, to be honest, made me feel a little less anxious.
"Really?" I exclaimed with a wide grin. "Then let us begin our mission." As I stood up to show him, I clapped my hands together enthusiastically. "I bought a white sleeveless short dress that reveals almost half of my boobs and all of my legs," I explained this to Jack as we were leaving his office to go to his salon. I always explained to him what I was going to wear so that he could choose the best hair and make-up styles for me to wear that day.
Yes, I had to admit it: bottom gays were the best, and he was one of the best in that regard. Even so, he was an omega, but he was creative and unique as a hairdresser.
