"How dare you say such in my presence!"Mrs Philips shouted, throwing her face mask on the floor.

"Do not say such words in my presence again."Mrs Philips said angrily as she walked out.

PHILIPS COMPANY.

"Good Morning Sir."Maria said as she went to take his bag..

"Don't worry about that..You can go back to work,ummh..where is Sara?"Dave asked as he looked around.

Maria mood changed instantly as she heard that,she became angry his words..Dave looked at her waiting for a response then Sara immediately entered looking all sweaty like she had ran from her place to work..Dave diverted his attention to Sara which made Maria jealous and angry.

"You know you are late right?"Dave said looking at her.

"I know Sir.It was traffic."Sara said.

"Alright..Go drop your things and see me in my office."Dave said as he left to his office.

"Good morning Maria." Sara said.

Maria gave Sara her death glare and walked out..Sara was surprised by her actions and she wondered what she had done wrong to her to warrant such behaviour from her..She decided to wave it aside not allowing it to spoil her day.

"Good morning Sir."Sara said as she entered the office.

"Good morning to you Sara..Hope you slept well?"Dave asked.

"Yes i did..thank you very much."Sara replied avoiding an eye contact.

As they were having a conversation Bella badged in..Dave looked at her angrily and wondered what she was doing in his office.

"Sara please excuse us i'll send for you later." Dave said looking at Bella angrily.

"Hey..where are you going to,so you are the whimp that has been disturbing my man?"Bella shouted as she was about to cause a scene.

"Excuse you?"Sara responded angrily.

Bella stepped forward to give Sara a slap but she was stopped by Dave who held her hand firmly.He begged Sara to leave, she stared at Bella and left.

As she came out of his office,Maria gave her a mocking look and she left happily..Sara wondered what was going on today as this was beyond her understanding. She went to her office to bend her head.

"How dare you Bella! How dare you come to my office to create a scene..Have you lost it?"Dave said angrily as he banged the table causing Bella to fear.

"So she is the reason you have been acting so cold towards me..That..that."She said as she was interrupted by Dave.

"Do not call her names because she is what you would never be in years..You think i do not know that you ran a girl over and you sped off?"Dave said as his eyes pierced through her heart.

Bella eyes widen as she heard the news,she couldn't believe her ears she thought nobody would find out about this ...She became so clam and sat quietly on the chair.

"I knew about this and i could have handed it to you to the police but i decided not not to."Dave said.

"I am sorry..i didn't know what came over me, it wasn't intentional."Bella cried.

Dave asked her to leave his office or he would call the security on her..Bella tried to beg for forgiveness but Dave didn't want to hear any of that as his mind was made up..Bella left his office shamefully.

Few hours later,Mr Philips called Dave..Dave was surprised to see his Dad's call and at first he was relunctant to pick the call but he had no choice than to pick it.

"Hello Dad."Dave said.

"What did you do to Sara because her dad just called me and told me she has been crying since she left your place."Mr Philips said

"i didn't do anything to her..why didn't you ask her before calling me because she should be in a better position to answer that..Please i'll talk to you later, i have work to do."Dave said as he was ready to hangup the call.

"Is that all you have to say?..Alright no problem then."Mr Philips said as he ended the call.

Dave arranged the files in the table then Maria entered ..she changed her steps walking in a seductive way.

"Yes..How may i help you?" Dave asked facing his laptop.

"I came to checkup on you sir, i had the noises..Hope she didn't hurt you."Maria said as she stepped forward and she was stopped by him.

"I am fine..you can now get back to work."Dave said without lifting his head.

Maria wasn't happy be his response..she wondered why he doesn't see her the same way he saw Sara. Dave noticed she was still standing there.

"What are you still doing here..Get back to work."Dave shouted.

"wait..Tell Sara to see me in my office now."Dave said.

Maria was getting tired of Sara's..she regretted why she was employed here because ever since she started working here Dave was jovial and friendly to her and she was close to getting him but everything changed the moment Sara started working here.

"Sara must leave here and that is final! I'll do everything to make her quit."Sara said angrily as she approached to Sara's office.

Maria opened the door and walked in like the place had a foul smell,looking around in disgust and back to Sara.

"Hi Maria..Hope there is no problem?"Sara asked smiling broadly.

"I do not know what is going on between you and the boss but all i have to say to you is STAY OFF HIM..He is mine and mine alone."Maria said as her eyes widen.

Sara was confused about everything that was happening, first it was Bella and now Sara..She wondered how all could happen the same day.

"I hope the person you are fighting for belongs to you because it will be so sad to fight a lost battle."Sara advised.

"How dare you? I can see you have grown wings and i'll definitely break them..stay clear or you won't like what will hit you."Maria said as she looked at Sara sternly.

"Don't say i didn't warn you."She said as she left her office.
