Loren turned to face Bella, his fierce gaze locking with her teary eyes, almost making her gasp for breath.
Without saying a word, he walked past her and rang a bell beside his bed. Soon, old lady Amato and the bath maid, who was still dressed in Bella's wedding gown, arrived.
"Greetings my lord." They both chorused with a slight bow.
"How should I punish you for not looking after my wife?" Loren asked as he sat on his bed, his gaze fixed on the bath maid who had got down on her knees immediately, trembling in fear.
"I'm sorry my lord, please forgive me." Lucia pleaded, her body still trembling in fear.
"That word, 'Sorry' doesn't work with me" Loren replied before pressing the bell on the table again promting two mascular guards to enter the room.
"I beg for your forgiveness, my lord," Lucia pleaded, with tears streaming down her cheeks.
"Kill her," Loren ordered with a stern expression, sending waves of shock down Bella's spine as well as Old lady Amato and Lucia.
"My lord, please forgive me. I'll never do that again. Please have mercy." Lucia pleaded, with tears rolling down her cheeks as her pleas fell on deaf ears while the two guards dragged her out of Loren's room.
"She is innocent. I made the decision to escape on my own. She had no part in it," Bella implored, her body tense with anger as she advanced towards Loren. She no longer avoided his gaze, meeting it head-on. "How can you be so heartless to kill your fellow human being ?"
"Perhaps you should consider the consequences for your servants before acting recklessly," Loren retorted firmly. "As long as you continue to attempt escape, those you care for and the innocent individuals I have tasked with your care will face consequences."
Boom*
The sound of the gunshot rang out, causing Bella and old lady Amato to flinch in shock. However, Loren remained unfazed.
"Why are you so heartless? How can you disregard human life like this?" Bella cried, tears streaming down her face. She knew that the gunshot meant Lucia had been killed.
Ignoring her, Loren turned to old lady Amato, who was trembling in fear. "Now, dress my wife for the wedding. And remember, if she tries to escape, you'll meet the same fate as the maid," he warned sternly.
"Yes, my lord," Old Lady Amato replied with a slight bow before turning her gaze to the dejected Bella. "Please, let's get you ready for the wedding, my lady."
"You're a monster," Bella said, her gaze fixed on Loren, who gave a smirk in response. She then looked at Old Lady Amato. "Let's get out of here!" Bella added, leading the way with Old Lady Amato following closely behind until they were out of Loren's room.

The luxurious wedding venue was transformed into a fairytale setting, with sleek chandeliers casting a warm glow over the polished hardwood floors. The atmosphere was electric with excitement, as guests mingled and laughed, sipping signature cocktails and enjoying passed hors d'oeuvres.
The crowd was a stylish mix of friends, family, and colleagues, dressed in their finest attire. Women wore designer dresses and high heels, their hair styled in sleek updos, while men looked sharp in tailored suits and bow ties.
Loren, dressed in a black shiny suits stood beside a balb headed man who was dressed in a white suit and held a holy book close to his chest.
The moment the door to the wedding hall swung open, revealing a lady in a white flowing gown adorned with pearls. Her face was hidden behind a white veil, and a diamond crown sat atop her neatly styled hair. The hall turned quiet as every guests took a seat, their attention directed to the bride.
Bella found herself walking down the aisle alone, as her father had not arrived after waiting for hours. Not wanting to cause any trouble for the maids, she made the decision to proceed on her own.
As she walked towards Loren, Bella couldn't help but glance under her veil, hoping to catch a glimpse of her father among the guests. However, he was nowhere to be seen.
"Why isn't my father here?" Bella asked quietly, facing Loren. The guests at the wedding were all from Loren's side, with her father being the only one representing the Marino family.
"I've sent my driver to pick him up. They should arrive before the ceremony is over," Loren reassured her before turning his attention back to the priest.
After waiting for several minutes without Mr Marino arriving, Loren and Bella exchanged wedding vows, rings, and without kissing as per Bella choice, they were both pronounced husband and wife in front of all of Loren's guests.
The hall soon turned noisy once again as the guests continued to have fun all while wishing the newly married couples a happy married life.
"Let me introduce you to the guests," Loren said with a serious tone, glaring at Bella.
"Where is my father? Didn't you say you sent your driver to pick him up?" Bella asked, her body tense with anger. "Did you do something to my father?" she added, eyebrows raised in curiosity.
"I don't know what's wrong, but I did send Ronald to get him here. They were probably caught in traffic," Loren explained, taking out his phone to call Ronald. However, Ronald walked in through the hall before he could make the call.
"I was just about to call you," Loren said with a heavy sigh the moment his gaze fell on Ronald.
"Where's my father?" Bella asked, her eyes fixed on the hall door, waiting for her father to enter even though her question was directed to Ronald.
Ignoring Bella's question, Ronald approached Loren and whispered in his ear, "I'm sorry, my lord, but Mr. Marino is dead."
Despite hearing the bad news, Loren remained composed and calm as well as Ronald not wanting Bella to find but she had overheard Ronald words, sending shockwaves down her spine.
"Who's dead?" Bella asked, her expression stern as she looked at Loren and Ronald, who were surprised that she had heard the information despite it being whispered.
"No one! I think you should go relax in your room now, young madam," Ronald said, his head slightly bowed.
Ignoring Ronald's words, tears streaming down her cheeks, Bella approached Loren, locking eyes with him. "You finally killed him, you monster!"
