Chapter 3 Did you

My jaw drop for a second to her reply before it replace again with my anger. How this imbecile rogue can hurt my Alpha. I huff and raised my head high to challenge her. "How can a low life rogue thinks she could get away from this?" I thought as I narrow my eyes at her.

I see fear in her eyes which made my wolf and I smile. She should fear us? After all were the Blood Pack.

Flashback

It wasn't long after I dismissed everyone from the training that I felt the pain. When our Alpha left I add another thirty five minutes of training before dismissing everyone.

The pain I felt was too much to handle and I look around to find our pack members screaming in pain.

"Something's happening to our Alpha" my wolf Harold says as he howl in pain too.

I agree with him because I know our bond with our Alpha is strong and only he can cause this pain. I wanted to run and look for him but the pain was numbing my movements. When the pain is gone I quickly get up on my feet.

"Marc protect the Luna and Pack and sent ten of our top warriors to look for the Alpha. I will go ahead to find him" I link our Gamma before running to where Dane disappear to go for a run this morning. As I run to look for him I pray to the moon goddess to guide me to him. I cannot lose my Alpha and best friend.

Present

I growl at the dainty rogue again and move in to attack her. Seeing me moving in to attack her the female instantly jump to her feet and ready to run.

She stumble and fell down on the ground with her face almost hitting the soil. 'Ouch' my wolf wince and I let out another growl to her. I quickly run to where she lay and flung her up by the arm.

"Ow..ow..ow...that hurts jerk" she winces and try to pull her arm away from him. In fact my hold on her is too tight.

"You are hurting me" she glare at me and struggle to punch me on the face. My wolf laugh at her failed attempts.

"Tsk...tsk...tsk...think you're strong? Try again and I will rip off your arm for real" I seriously told her.

She huff and stop struggling to punch me. 'Good girl' my wolf said in an approving tone. "Why did you hurt my Alpha?" I ask her. Her eyes widen in pure shock. "Al-Alpha. He is an Alpha?" she stutters.

I nod my head in return. "Answer me" I demanded.

"Are you telling me the guy over there is an Alpha?" she ask while pointing to where Dane lies.

Fuck, is this woman crazy or just simply stupid. Didn't she hear me awhile back telling her that the one she tried to strip after harming him is my Alpha? A fucking Alpha for heaven's sake!

"Very well! Since you refused to answer me I will kill you" Her innocent eyes look at me in fear which suddenly it reminded me of my own sister.

Damn! Why am I going soft again with women? Closing my eyes I tell myself that she is not innocent like my little sister. This woman before me is a rogue. Choosing to end her life I ready my claws to kill her when a voice stop me. A voice that I am way too familiar with especially when he is mad.

"Don't kill her. She's mine" he growls.

I let go of the rogue's hand which made her fall and turn to Dane, Oh thank goddess he is alive. Forgetting the woman on the ground I run and hug my best friend, Wait, I remember he said the words 'she's mine.'

What am I missing here? The rogue is definitely not our Luna neither the love of his life. Did Dane lost his memories or perhaps did the filthy rogue cast a spell on him? I try to think and ask all this sort of questions in my head. However, I knew very well the answer is with Dane.

I was to ask when he move me aside and face the woman.

"Mine to kill" he said making the woman freeze on the ground. I move in front of his face and look at him in curiosity.

"Did she take advantage of you?" I ask while assessing my Alpha's for damages. Dane pushed my hands away in annoyance. He try to stand up but wince in pain due to the wound on his side. I help him and when he is stable, he cast a look at the rogue female.

"Did you?" he ask her with reference to my accusation. The rogue female roll her eyes and look at us with disgust. Her attitude suddenly changes which made me stand there in surprise.

"Sure, I did but then will that makes me a woman? Hoi! If you were hot I would but no thanks you are not my type" the rogue snorted. Dane's growl made both of us jump in alert.

"What?" I ask him while holding my beating heart. "Grab, her were going home. I will get my answer from her pretty mouth" he said in demand. I wonder what got in his pants. I forgot to ask him what happened. I will when we get home.

I grab the female by the arm and pull her to stand up. "Pull any funny move and we will kill you right here" I warn her and she complied. Awesome! This seems easy than I thought.

"You know I will tell on you. I can't wait to get home and tell Mel about your sorry ass" I said start to walk out of this unknown territory. Dane let out another growl. His jaw clenched and there is pure hate in his eyes. His fist was balled on his sides. Did I say something wrong or did the rogue did really beat up his ass?

"Fuck her" he curse and start to walk again with the rogue. I quickly catch up on him.

"Are you sure she didn't kick your ass then?" I whisper to him while my eyes glance at the rogue on his other side. Her hands tie up with a rope we found at the area where I found them. Dane doesn't reply.

"Did you?" I ask her instead of our brood Alpha and best friend.

"What if I did?" she answer me in a bored tone. I nod my head in amusement and switch my gaze from her to my broody best friend.

Feisty and very interesting! Oh I am so ready to enjoy my popcorn and cola while watching these two in the front row.
